  1. Heroes -------------
  2. Sir English Wronplaiz: LG, a knight in shining armor whose only wish is to protect "Princess Sarah". Is either from another continent and was brought to Al'Naar by the Psychic Gale, or is just crazy.
  3. Tonkiin: CN, a forger automaton who wants to make a weapon out of the essence of each Shifra.
  4. Wizard: NG, a goblin wizard who has no memory, taking their name from a necklace they have which has the word "wizard" carved into it. he desperately wants to learn who he was before.
  5. Zalinus: CG, a desert elf dread spiker with dread armor. he's killed a lot of people in the past, and feels heavy remorse for his actions, offering to help the party in any way that he can. maybe have a necromancer take over him, forcing the party to kill him.
  6. Neutrals -----------
  7. Aladda Brothers: LN, have a monopoly on martial weaponsmithing all across the continent. Charges 5 gp more for all martial weapons (NOT ammunition).
  8. Dairyo: CG, a revenant that has swindled a being of vengeance into extending his contract of unlife by constantly forming new "quarries" with people he knows.
  9. Alamuur: N, gladiator champion of the sword duel place. Have one of the players fight him, beat him, and crowd orders for his death, which the Shifra also orders. Once player "kills" (fucks it up) alamuur, have the guards fire arrows at them, which Alamuur pulls them out of the way and say they "can't even kill me right". i like the idea of making him trans so maybe do that
  10. Suratahr: LE, a loan shark bandit skeleton that is willing to loan magic items, trinkets, and other shit to the PCs. based on Lobster.
  11. Yun & Fasiq: N, soldier automaton bards that want to play their music for the world.
  12. Chessmaster: LE, a hyper-intelligent (28-ish) mage that sees all of life as a game. he will offer his help to the PCs if they can perform specific tasks for him, usually oddly specific ones, which are all parts of his "game". if his game is "complete", a new villain will appear, and chessmaster will stop appearing until the new villain is slain. also he sells "hints", "shortcuts", and "chess pieces". the chess pieces are actual chess pieces.
  13. Villains -----------
  14. The Doomed Prince: LE, gemwraith (like dead king), serves The Dead King as his most devout follower. Almost never speaks, and will not reveal his name, as he is merely a "conduit of death willed forth by nightmares". Will be one of the main conflicts if the party chooses to reject the Dead King's offer to join his ritual. If possible, watch Hellsing and base aspects of him on the show. He also is the reason why TDK resurrected as a vile being rather than a good boy
  15. Freedom Jaka: CN, a female red dragonborn anarchist demolitionist who believes that everyone should be nomadic and just let the strong survive, with the weak starving or being killed by monsters.
  16. Azazel Hijehk: CE, Azrielle + Damien, a male desert elf who takes pride in controlling others and manipulating others into making them believe he is both the rightful ruler of Al'Naar and a more benevolent one than the Shifra.
  17. Q.M.: CE, a tophat-wearing masked qunae fucker that makes the party's lives hell for a bit, is a beautiful bastard
  18. The Boss: hE'S HERE
  19. Dawduru: LE light mage meant to be sort of symbolic of how Tai makes light evil
  20. Beak: CE kenku vampire, when defeated he will offer to make any PC his disciple, granting them vampiric powers but also slowly corrupting them.
  21. SSS: stands for Sbe Sbe Sbe (Seven Seven Seven), NE, is pissed at the chessmaster for winning the game. will try to kill the party. if he's slain he'll drop a really fucking good dice magic item that will explode for like 20d6 or some shit.
