- Alexithymiaa: -Brad stood at the bar with a beer already in front of him, half consumed. He lifted his hand to rub at his face, letting out a sneeze and covering his face with his open palm. Shaking his head and shaking it off, his eyes flicked over to the stage at the live band that had been the entertainment for the night. Pretty par for Beer Goggles, the music was a little too loud, the place was a little too crowded, and too many people were dancing and moshing to the band.-
- Covet: Kelsey was bumped into the bar by some people getting a little out of control with their drunken dancing "Woah, Jeeze it's pretty busy for a Sunday night, course.. it is the summer, so, I'm not really too surprised, but jeeze they're going hard tonight."
- Covet: [Woops, sorry forgot to hit enter]
- Alexithymiaa: "Eh, anything they have live music people get crazy here. It's not too bad since the band doesn't suck." He said with a shrug, lifting his beer to his mouth to take another sip before he looked back up at the stage of rockers jumping around with their instruments. "I mean, they'll never make it out of Portland, but they're decent."-
- Covet: "Hey, even local bands deserve fans." Kelsey said with a laugh then ordered herself another drink. "Either that or you and I are slowly becoming acoustomed to the more refined music tastes?" She asked in a mock British accent.
- Alexithymiaa: "I'm going to assume it's the second one because I think we know good music by now. They're not bad. I could enjoy this for forty minutes or so. I just wouldnt necessarily pay to see them." He shrugged again, finishing off his beer and waving a haand at the bartender to order himself another. "Do you want another drink?"-
- Covet: "Aww, but if you wouldn't pay to see them, then they'll quit before they even have a chance." Kelsey said with a laugh, then nodded her head, "Yeah I just don't know what I want now..." She said staring aimlessly at the liquor bottles behind the bar. "Hey.. question.. so do you know if Evan is single?"
- Alexithymiaa: "Hey, they should be making music because they love it, not to make money." Which was such an asshole thing to say considering he makes money off his art form. Taking his fresh beer from the bartender, he rolled the bottle between his hands before looking at her. "Considering how far up my ass he is every waking moment of the day? Probably."-
- Covet: "Why can't they do both? I do both." She said with a laugh, then gave him a light smack on the shoulder, "Hey, that's what an assistant is supposed to do. Would you rather go back to not having one at all?" Kelsey asked him then waved her hand, "ANYWAYS, I was asking cause Holly had asked." She said with a smug grin becaus she knew she was right about this hunch between the two of them.
- Alexithymiaa: -He opened his mouth to speak before quickly closing it and narrowing his eyes on her face when he caught what she was doing. "Kelsey... do not meddle in their shit. That's none of our business. I know you're like itching to play matchmaker."-
- Covet: "I'm not meddling!" Kelsey said loudly. "She came to me asking, unprovoked. I swear." She said holding up her fingers in the boy scout honor pose.
- Alexithymiaa: "And maybe Evan doesn't want you getting involved. And maybe he doesn't even like Holly, but was just being polite asking about her. You don't know and if you make my assistant quit, I'm going to be really mad." He said sternly to her, keeping his eyes set on her face.-
- Covet: "I know, I don't know that. Which is why I told her, I don't know, but I can find out. That's all I said I would do. HOWEVER my feminie intuition says there's something there between them. And, the only way your assistant is going to quit, is if YOU do something to make him quit. He's been nothing but professional, so I'm sure he'd act accordingly regardless of how this winds up working out." She told him, not caving to his stern voice or look.
- Alexithymiaa: "Why can't she find out for herself? What is this, middle school?" He said with a scoff, shifting on his feet uncomfortably before giving into sit down on the stool next to him. "The whole thing just seems immature."-
- Covet: "Well one, she hasn't seen him, because he's been busy working for you and she was gone last week. And two it was just an idle question that she'd asked and I got excited about. Sorry, I didn't realize that was being immature." She said putting her fingers up to quote the word, rolling her eyes, because he was one to talk about imaturity.
- Alexithymiaa: (The irony)
- Alexithymiaa: -He rolled his eyes in response to her attitude about what he'd said, exhaling deeply with clear annoyance. "So then why didn't she just talk to him when she sees him? I don't know, I just think it's weird. If someone did that to me, I probably wouldn't be very into them."-
- Covet: "Because she doesn't know when she's going to see him next?" Kelsey said raising an eyebrow, "I'm thinking that the whole idea of wingmanning is lost on you, Bradley."
- Covet: [Even though Kelsey's wingmanned for Brad before XD]
- Alexithymiaa: "You wingman when you're together to make your partner look good. That's totally different than just... doing the damn thing for them." He said with a wave of his hand as he shook his head.-
- Covet: "Wingman wasn't ever supposed to apply to people already together Bradley. It's what friends do, in order to help their friends meet people they might be good with. Not everyone has a family in like you." She told him, then turned to the bartender, "Can I get a few raspberry vodka shots please."
- Alexithymiaa: "We're different. We're special." He said quickly, trying to explain himself, but he's got nothing. He perked up when she ordered shots. "Shots? You're doing shots?"-
- Covet: "That we are." Kelsey said then nodded her head. "Yep, shots sound great right now." She told him in a short tone, because she was annoyed with him now, and obviously shots is going to make that better.
- Alexithymiaa: (Stop taking notes from him, Kelsey.)
- Alexithymiaa: -He leaned over the bar a little, gripping for his beer as he watched the bartender making up her shots. "Did you get me any?"-
- Covet: "I got three for myself, You had your beer, so I didn't think you wanted any." She told him tilting her head to the side, "but I'm sure the bartender would be happy to make you some shots if you ask." Kelsey said with a smile.
- Alexithymiaa: "Well now..." He muttered, bringing his beer up to his lips to take a sip. "It's fine. Take your shots. I'll settle for my beer since this is what I had anyway."-
- Covet: "I'd be more than happy to share one with you, if you say please." Kelsey said as she got her shots and tipped one back, setting the empty on the bartop.
- Alexithymiaa: -He looked down at the last two shotglasses she had sitting in front of her, chewing on the inside of his cheek. "You really don't have to share with me. You ordered them for yourself for a reason. It just means when we get home I get to take advantage of you." He said with a grin, taking another sip of his beer.-
- Covet: "If I didn't want to share, I wouldn't have offered." Kelsey told him as she took the second and tipped it back with a bit of a cringe. "Oh? take advantage of me in what way? Also, be careful with phrases like that...Where I'm okay with it, some crazy feminist might over hear you and just start wailing on you." [No shit read about that happening in Portland a while back.]
- Alexithymiaa: "No ones even listening to us, they don't care. Besides, if anyone even noticed us, they'd recognize you and it would be a whole different story. I'm not looking to ruin my career becaause of some stupid comment some stranger misinterpreted." He took another sip of his beer to finish it off, glancing over his shoulder to make sure no one was eavesdropping.-
- Covet: "This is true, I brought that up purely because I didn't want to have to deal with my publicist's backlash when I have to beat her ass for touching my man." Kelsey told him with a laugh. "So we'd both end up ruining our careers. Or.. it'd make us even more famous." She said with a shrug and a bit of a slur.
- Alexithymiaa: "True. In this day and age? That kind of shit makes people like you more. Especially if you do it for a good reason." He said with a nod, easing off his stool and looking to her. "You ready to head back so I can respectfully not take advantage of you?"-
- Covet: "Yes, but finish this for me. That way we have plausible deniability for taking advantage of each other." She said sliding over the shot glass as she stood up in order to make her way through the crowd of people that were still jamming and moshing away.
- Alexithymiaa: -He reached over to grab the shot, throwing it back without a second thought and turning to follow her without considering the possibility that he'd had a few beers AND the shot and was probably just buzzed enough that he probably shouldn't be driving. He came up behind her, swinging an arm around her shoulders so he could walk her out. They would totally make it home just fine, Im enjoying adding to the list of stupid decisions Brad makes.-
