Dès le premier jour
Je savais que nous serions une
Je n'avais jamais pensé
Nous serions l'un de cette manière
Je ne regrette pas mon choix
En fait, je l'embrasse ouvertement

Her wingtips cut through the air, they sweep
My fear and regret, they seep
Through my love, I don't think I can do this

But, her number's up
It's the system, and it's corrupt
Minds think alike
A pair of knives, some screws and bolts, the fear of the fillies and colts
It's all too much, see

Now, here I am, poisoning cupcakes
What's happened, for Celestia's sake?
I feel like a much different mare
Than the one who once was pranking all,
Spreading cheer, but then they asked for it
Let the demons into my soul,
What doesn't warm my heart makes it cold,
And now it's pure black

But ever since we met
I've dreamed of spending my life with you
Though my heart is black, there's room for a rainbow and some blue
You mean the world to me
I wish it was only the same to you
