is more complex and layered than any can truly

necessarily feel brave to seek Her out directly, as I
hardly even feel equal to addressing Lady Carakhan, whom

energies for my impertinence."

not believe you would have any issue being courteous to

also wonderful to speak to about Her. I am more blessed
than I can express to have any bond at all with Her, I

Misericorde's when conversing with a goddess, as I just -
know- I will freeze up and forget how to speak properly
in the presence of one so divine. It must be a wonderful
and grave responsibility to have an Elder Goddess
confide in you as it seems Lady Lantra seems to. But I
count myself fortunate in that the presence of Lady
Carakhan is ever present for me in Her work, in the
beauty of the waves and the vibrancy of the creatures
and plants within it."

person with Her. It is a unique experience, to have an
Elder Goddess in your presence, in ways that She may not

you are, with Them at a distance, or is it that you
would like to speak with Them, but are too uncomfortable

followers. That can be an unsettling sensation as a

excellent question, and I'm not sure I have an answer!
Of course I do wish I had a closer relationship with Her,
 a more personal relationship, and yet I fear it would
be overwhelming to have an Elder Goddess focused upon me.
 What does one say? What questions can one ask? I
wouldn't know where to begin!"

in the Lady's regard, let alone in comparison to Her
other followers. I am the least of Hers, in many ways.

Hm. I think that what you say is not truly what is
important. That you sincerely wish to draw closer to Her
is what matters most. I would advise that you pray to
Her, and express to Her what you have just said to me.
She will understand, I think, how daunting an Elder can
be to mortals. Communicate to Her that you wish to be
closer with Her, but are uncertain how to comport
yourself in Her presence. Be honest, and open, and I
think that all shall be well. It will be difficult, I
know, but some of the most worthy endeavours are the
