Electric

Raising  his  axe  as  a  partial  shield,  Gull  grabbed Garth's  collar  and  shook  him  like  a  puppy.  Yet  Gull wasn't  sure  what  he  wanted  from  this  man,  only  knew he  mustn't  kill  him  if  he  were  precious  to  Rakel.  A good  bust  in  the  mouth,  however —

Jiggling  in  the  air,  Garth  touched  Gull  with  a  finger encased  in  a  dried  eelskin.

The  spell  wracked  Gull  from  head  to  toe. Electricity  shot  through  him,  made  his  hair  stand  on end,  his  eyes  bulge,  his  teeth  gleam  with  sparks,  his muscles  cramp  and  spasm.  Yet  he  hung  on  doggedly, shook  so  hard  Garth's  head  wobbled  and  interrupted his  concentration.  The  spell  quit.
