  1. 1. Base Noctis
  2. 2. 4/256/4 with a very interesting match4 clause; he's suitably tanky. Match4 highly lowers the probability of skyfall while not outright stopping it. Back in the era of A3 before the onslaught of Fujin and VDP, Noctis was one of the fantastic leader choices for damage control alongside Kush. But of course, the primary weakness of the match4 clause is the restricted combos. The average case of a natural 6color board on 6x5 is around 5-6 - naturally, this makes combo shields a challenge and 7cs less than reliable. Building for 6x5 Noctis will inevitably involve using TPA subs and spamming +combo actives or 7x6 pairing. For combo shields that you don't need to kill immediately, it is, of course, possible to eventually skyfall and break the combo shield. Suffice to say; his match4 clause is very interesting to play around. He's certainly viable for endgame content - if you check out the Noctis server, several regulars there have already cleared AA, A4, A5, and AA2 coming soon^tm.
  3. 3. As a sub, he's a decent TPA sub with 4 TPAs, a devil killer, and 7c/TPA/unbindable SA.
  4. 4.
  5. 5. UEvo Noctis
  6. 6. Two devil killers, ability to take dev killer latents, 2 TPAs, 7c, and a SA choice of 7c/TPA/unbindable. As a sub, he'll destroy devils, and has decent general damage as a TPA/7c sub.
  7. 7. As a leader, he's 4/64/4 without the typical Noctis match4 clause. Tanky but without much damage. Activation being tied to D/L matching can help with damage control while restricting your board change choices. His +combo aspect makes combo shields a breeze.
  8. 8. By himself, you'll need high damage subs to make up for that low 64x. Don't expect to one-shot everything.
  9. 9. One option is to pair with base Noctis, upping the damage multiplier for uevo slightly and helping base with combo shields (though you'll still want to 7x6 swap if you want to 7c consistently).
  10. 10. Another option is pairing with Akuma. This ups the damage mult and combines an HP mult with a shield, helping against both gravs and stuff like Lak-Ibaraki. The +combo from Noctis also increases Akuma's activation consistency without the need for 7x6.
  11. 11.
  12. 12. Pixel Noctis
  13. 13. Swipe lead! 10.5 at a dark row up to 15x at 9dark. This is stronger than Saito at a single row, slightly lower at 9. The match4 clause lowers the chance of skyfall, which is nice. It does remove the ability to 7c via the traditional splitting-up-of-3-matches stuff. Satan+Acala will still let you VDP+row (the 3matches will cascade into a single 6match), as will Dress+Ryu let you VDP.
  14. 14. He has 3 VDPs and a higher attack stat than Tokugawa by a good margin, making him the strongest dark VDP in multiplayer before killers (which are a little hard to quantify in a general sense).
  15. 15. His 13 cd nonswipe AS and lack of SB are unfortunate. However, at least you can make a Satan board via DH + Noctis.
  16. 16.
  17. 17. equip Noctis
  18. 18. Cloud resist and highHP. The AS can help with dark teams, for general damage purposes as well as dark VDP. Not much else to say, the uses for cloud resist and highHP are fairly obvious.
