  1. Entering Gwenaël's raid, the party finds themselves in front of a large kaldorei mansion that they must plow through containing mobs made up of elven servants, lasher plants, and the occasional group of guards. The first boss is Dustraina, the guard captain, and she's an easy tank and spank that calls on a small mob of four lesser guards when she hits 10% health. The second boss is Yelle'anar, Gwenaël's first husband. He casts Crippling Woe repeatedly, and it is a 5 second cast time that can be interrupted; if successful, Crippling Woe stacks on all party members in a 25ft radius of him and causes 15% of the player's maximum health every 5 seconds. There is no stack limit. Third boss is Jabjek, and from his location in the back gardens of the estate, the party can see a wide, dark clearing where Gwenaël sits on a stump in the center. The opening line for the fight is 'leave us alone'. He starts as a troll, but at 50% health remaining he shifts into a bear and yells that the party will have to go through him to get to his wife. At this stage, he begins hitting 10% harder and taking 10% less damage for every 10% less health he has. When the party kills him, he cries out 'not again'. Jabjek is skinnable and drops a bear-head hood similar to the legion sets, but with corruption effects in the eyes, or a cloak with a stripe of corruption down the center.

  3. When the party approaches Gwenaël, a low piano and harp duet begins to play and there will be whispers sent to each member: *Leave this place, and never come back; it's safe here, it's nice here; I like it here*. Gwenaël's fight is a healer's worst nightmare: heal her from 1% back up to 100%. At 2% health, Gwenael floats up off of her stump and poisonous mushrooms begin to spawn around the clearing, infecting anyone who stands within 10ft of them with Gloom, which eats away at their health by 5k every .5 seconds. The mushrooms can be killed, but when they are, a cloud of Gloom bursts out and affects anyone within a 20ft radius. The mushrooms stop spawning when Gwenaël reaches 50% health, replaced by stag mobs that spawn at random locations around the clearing's skirt and charge at a random player. The charge is avoidable, but if struck by it, the stags hit for 75% of the player's maximum health. There are 5 waves of stags, one coming at a time, and the waves will repeat if Gwenaël is not brought up to 75% health within 30 seconds of the last wave. At 75% health, lashers spawn, but do fairly little damage and can easily be rounded up and cut down. At 95% health, Gwenaël screams out and sends a blast of pale pink energy out, killing *all* players and triggering a cutscene. In this cutscene, a stag that towers over the forest the clearing is in comes through the trees, speaking lowly and in a tongue the party cannot understand for two lines before switching to the faction's common tongue. "It is time to come home now, Little One, to a place that is truly safe. You won't cause harm to anyone anymore," the stag says, and as it finishes, the screen fills with a soft green glow. Upon fading, Gwenaël is nowhere to be seen, but the stag remains. "Brave adventurers, thank you for cleansing this place of the foul evil of N'zoth. I am ever grateful for your sacrifices. Take this as a reward, and a manifestation of my thanks." The party is then brought back to life, cleansed of all corruptions and debuffs from the fight and now holding a new buff: Nahlarny's Blessing. This buff grants a 50% speed increase and increases all stats by 10 for 2 hours after leaving the raid. There is a 5% chance to loot a Child of the Nahlarny mount from the vine-covered chest from the fight, which is a black stag with a long tail that's fluffy on the end and has flowers across its body. There is also a 45% chance to loot a pet version of this mount, as well as a specially colored, giant snaplasher default-named Paesh.
