(For more than 500 years The Long Hall has been the center of Greenfield. Its little more than 4 stone walls and a thatched roof, but it is still one of the most visited places in Greenfield, second only to St. Johns church. On this particularly bitter winter night, the towns inhabitants of all assembled here to discuss a rumor about an impending Templar raid. Connar has called this meeting in an attempt to get the town to evacuate before the Templar send a containment squad. The ambient murmuring of the crowd of various cryptids and humans begins to fade away as Connar stands on the bar and begins to speak.)
Connar: Thank you for coming here, I know there have been a lot of rumors floating around and I have called you all here this evening to discuss what we know for sure and what course of action we should take.
Dullahan: I heard the Templar were coming back to burn the town as revenge for your shenanigans in London.
Connar: This has nothing to do with my work for the dragon, the Templar claim that there has been an outbreak in Greenfield and…
Old man: Out break!? Of what!?
Connar: A substance called Zero Point Pathogen, but as far as I can tell there hasn’t been an outbreak and it looks like someone is lying to them in order to get a containment squad sent here.
Dullahan: So it does have something to do with your shenanigans! I knew it was a mistake to let you come back here, we have had nothing but peace since the green’s left this town and the minute you came back everything went to shit.
Flynn: That’s enough, Connar never got rid of his farm and he’s never failed to help us, he freed this town from the black and tans and got us protection from the EU. I’ll hear not another word against him!
Dullahan: The Greens house elf aside, if…
Flynn: (Slamming his fist down on to the table) you say that to my face, you headless mother fucker!
Connar: Every one calm down, I didn’t call you hear to fight, we need to discuss how to get everyone to safety.
Old man: You still haven’t established that we need to leave, if what you say is true then can’t we just reach out to the Templar and tell them there has been a mistake.
Cathy: Temple Hall doesn’t care about a bunch of cryptids in Ireland. They would rather kill us then apologies to Dublin then admit they have made a mistake.
Old Man: we still have to try, what other options do we have?
Connar: that’s why we are here, we need to reach a consensus on how to proceed.
Dullahan: And since when are you in charge?
Flynn: He’s the last of the Greens lad, it’s his responsibility to guard this land from outsiders. And he wouldn’t call us here unless there was trouble.
Dullahan: It’s the 21st century, I didn’t vote him in as mayor and I didn’t ask for some kind of mystical protector. I say that we stay put and just deal with whatever Temple Hall sends.
Flynn: You don't understand the templar don't do Quarantines for people who have been exposed to the zero point pathogen, they kill them. They did the same thing in 1845 and they’ll do it again.
Dullahan: The EU is not going to let a private army wipe out an entire village over a rumor.
Cathy: the Templar control the EU, do you think they're going to honor that “Gentleman's agreement” they reached in Paris, when they think Greenfield could become another Tokyo.
Dullahan: Well they're not going to ride in here on horses and start burning things either and I don't need some Canadian whore telling me about how things work in my own country.
Flynn:(Leaping out of his chair, he begins to charge the Dullahan in an attempt to knock his head out of his lap) you talk like that to my wife again and I'll kill you!
Dullahan:(attempts to push Flynn back only to be hit in the knee with a walking stick)
(As Flynn and the Dullahan continue to fight, Long Hall erupts into a shouting match. People begin to talk over one another trying to make themselves heard, as idea, requests for information and insults all blend together into one irritating noise)
Connar: (gritting his teeth as he holds his head, he begins to shake before finally shouting) EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP!
(the long hall falls silent as everyone looks towards Connar)
Connar: (Taking off his glasses) I understand that not everyone here trusts me, but in two days the templar are going to send a containment squad here and they are probably going to destroy the town and everyone in it. In their minds if they don't, they risk all of Ireland becoming like Tokyo, and they would rather destroy the town and be wrong about the outbreak than risk a single infected individual getting to London. So I’m asking everyone who isn't ready or able to fight back to go to Portmarnock and stay there until I come to get them. Everyone else should gather whatever arms and armor they have, even if its just kitchen knives and bike helmets and meet me here monday morning so we can begin fortifying the town.
(Several old men get up and leave the pub followed by several fairies, another leprechaun and the Dullahan. The Long hall slowly begins to empty until only Flynn, Cathy and a hand full of men and women are left. Emma also remains though it’s not clear that she herd Connar.)
Flynn: You may want to call in some of your friend’s lad, I don’t doubt we could take the entire Templar army if we had to, but things would be easier if we had some outside help.
Connar: Agreed.
