Osprey and Yang: Mythra vs Pyrrha!! Caesar's Charge!!!

The Rank D Elim cup has been going on for about 4 hours and it has come down to the Top 8. The sun long ago setting to bring in that orange hue Ylisse's known for over the arena as the remaining trainers are prepped to battle to see who will be the lone rep of Rank D. There was Pyrrha Nikos, heiress of House Nikos and the niece of the king and queen. Mythra Aegis, the eldest Aegis sister and one of the top ten students of Altea Academy. Rhiannon Faraday, daughter of famous retired trainer and super model Camilla Faraday. Osprey Branwen, eldest Branwen twin and son of Raven Branwen. Blake Belladonna, daughter of both retired trainers Ghira and Kali Belladonna. Ruby Rose, daughter of famous trainers Taiyang and Summer Xiao-Long, and Yang Branwen, the youngest Branwen Twin and daughter of Raven Branwen.(There's the eighth trainer with his Baku, Sleetbomb. But no one's gonna remember them after this anyway.)

Right now, the two trainers of Pyrrha and Mythra are stepping up to the field. The former with an aura of confidence opposing one aura of slight nervousness hiding behind bravado from the latter. On Pyrrha's side, she had Jaune, Lie Ren, and Nora along with their monsters(Who have come back from the medical centers) cheering for her as well as the vast majority of the crowd. Including the ones in the noble box where inside of it, her aunt, the queen of Ylisse Cordelia Lowell-Nikos, was being quite loud in her cheering.



Behind Mythra's back, Pyra is cheering loudly for her older sister with her monster joining in as well as Blake, Rhiannon(Who's sitting far and away from Osprey), Edelgard, Ruby, and even the twins who are silent, but are at least watching the match with the others nearby as well as some of the crowd hoping for an upset. On the field, Achilles was holding his lance in front of him with quiet confidence as Hikari is standing before him, feeling nervous in her body as she hides it behind a facade of arrogance. "Hello Mythra, how you been?" Pyrrha speaks up with a small smile, feeling quite confident in her chances of winning which leads her to come off as affable. "Well, I'll for sure feel great once I beat you here and move on to the semi-finals..." Mythra crosses her arms with a twitch to her left eye sporting a smirk. However, Pyrrha can sense that she was feeling quite on edge, no doubt thanks to the esteemed lineage of the Nikos's family.


"Oh, you think that today will be the day you finally beat me?" Pyrrha chuckles a bit as Achilles spins his lance and soon point it at Hikari who glance at the end of it before scowling at him. "Well, do try your best." "Oh, best believe we will..." Mythra scowls as she adjust herself and get ready for a battle as Hikari unfurls her wings and get her hands ready.

The bell rings out and instantly Hikari flies backward and throw some some bolts to apply pressure from afar with Achilles spinning his lance to deflect the bolts away from him. "Gonna have to try harder than that, Mythra!"  Pyrrha call out with a grin as Mythra smirks. "Please, the match only just started." Quickly coming up with a plan as she thrust a hand out. "Hikari, use Megaray!" Hikari hold out her hands and charge a yellow orb of energy that soon burst into a strand of energy blasts that home in on Achilles. Pyrrha, not concerned at all, issued out an order. "Dodge and then use Jumping Javelin." As the blasts get closer, Achilles jump over them as a loud explosion occurs right behind him as he adjust his lance and throw them down at Hikari. The Angel smoothly dodge the attack with a backflip with the lance planted in the ground, Achilles landing next to it and pulling it out and instantly soon swing it down on her.


Soon enough, Achilles is keeping close to Hikari as he alternates between Swings and Stabs. All of them barely missing the angel who dodges them off with quick footwork. Although with how she's getting back up against a tree, everyone could see it was a matter of time before she gets hit. "Achilles's faster than he looks..." Osprey mention to Yang as they sit down together in the dugout. Both of them watching the match far closer than anyone would imagine they would. "Looking like things will be tough against him and Pyrrha..." "You'll win, of course right?" Yang raise an eyebrow and ask her brother who merely nods. "Naturally...but it will be a challenge...much like the match before her.." He glances over and see Rhiannon cheering loudly for Mythra. "...Only briefly seen her matches prior to today...but she's no joke." Yang leans back and crosses her arms. "True, but...she will still lose." "Yeah."

Back in the arena, Hikari's back have hit the tree and Achilles have rear up on his hind legs prepared to stab her to it. But just as he thrust the lance ahead, She smirks as she duck underneath and fly between his legs as his lance is stuck on the tree. She flies back some yards away from him as Mythra fistpumps. "Allright, now we got this! Hikari, Gigaray!!"

Hikari begins to shout as she claps her hands together and pull them apart to create a sparking yellow sphere much like how she did Megaray, only this one was more bigger and cracking with blue electricity. Her wings expanded as much as they could as she floats off the ground and take careful aim at Achilles. "Any last words, Pyrrha?! You're gonna lose and watch as I advance to the semi-finals!" Mythra flips her hair with a smug smile as she spare a glance at her sister and friends cheering her on. Her eyes landing on Osprey who lock eyes with her. She smirks at him before turning back to the fight.

"(Oh, Osprey...feeling your eyes behind me looking on gives me more strength than I could ever imagine..)" She raised a fist, as Hikari reaches the peak of her charged attack and is ready to let lose. "(Now watch and behold my triumph!)" "FIRE!!!" Hikari screams as she let loose the attack and watch it flies towards Achilles who barely had enough time to look back before it strikes him. A loud metallic bird-scream is heard throughout the huge yellow electricity-filled explosion with lots of smoke from it. Both trainers on the field covers their faces with their arms as does Hikari. "HOLY CRAP, SHE DID IT!!" Pyra screams out loud as the noise from the explosion begin to go down. "That's amazing! A huge upset!!" Ruby exclaims as the smoke begin to clear out to show Achilles's charred body sitting down in the crater, his lance in his hands with smoke coming off of him.

"...I..I did it..." Mythra look on with shock on her face before she sees the tail on the Chariot swishing before it slowly stand up, his back towards Hikari as he tightly clutches his lance, shaking with anger. "No-no way..." Both she and Hikari shooks their heads as Pyrrha scowls. "I have to admit, that was a close one..." Achilles turn his body around to reveal that part of his armor have broken off, showing a greyish chest of abs and some of his helmet cracked off as well, showing just an angry red left eye glaring at Hikari. "But it wasn't enough...And now you gonna pay for this."

Achilles spins his lance and screams loudly as a swirl of red mist spin around his feet. "Wh-what the hell?!?" Mythra couldn't believe her eyes....this...this is.. "Since when the hell did you had a Limit Break on your monster?!?!" "I had it for a while...never thought I would need to reveal it until now..." Pyrrha thrust a hand out. "You should be honored to be the first opponent to bring me to this move.."

"Achilles!" Pyrrha bring her hand back to her hips and screams as she rears her head back. Caesar's Charge!!!"

Achilles begin to sprint towards Hikari with his body covered by the red energy. Hikari begin to fly to the right and aim a hand charging with a Ray, only to see Achilles instantly breaking the distance between them with an alarming rate. "So-so fast!" Mythra watches as everytime Hikari would try to avoid the charge by swaying all over the place, Achilles would just be on top of her, itching closer and closer to strike her with his spear.


"(Damnit, it's like he turned into some homing missile!") She glances over to see the stern look on Pyrrha's face. "(Her and Achilles reaching their Limit Break changes everything!)"
On the dugout on Mythra's side, everyone was worried as they watch the match descend to a intense game of tag with Achilles chasing down Hikari who is shooting nothing but rays. "Damn, no matter how many she shoots, it's not shaking that Chariot off of her!" Rin comment as Edelgard grimly nods. "Indeed...I don't know whether it's cause of the lack of power on Hikari's end..." "Or whether Achilles just turn to a fucking tank..." Blake mutters as eventually, Hikari managed to get some good distance away from the pursuing Achilles by blowing up the earth before it with some Rays. Landing in front of Mythra, she prepare to charge another Gigaray, hoping to blast him down for good.


"Ok...we just gonna have to make this one count, Hikari..." Mythra grits her teeth as she watches her Angel prep her attack up as Achilles storms towards her, his barrier getting brighter and brighter as he get closer. As he get closer to halfway there... "GIGARAY!!" Hikari, hearing Mythra's command, let loose her attack and watch it careen towards the charging Achilles. Upon impact, another huge explosion ring out, blowing more smoke and debris in the air as everyone in the audience watches as the smoke stays in the air, hiding whether Achilles is KO'Ed or not.


"That...that had to be it.." Mythra watches as Hikari sighs and stand on her feet, confident that ended Achilles for the match. However, Pyrrha merely smirks as she know that her Achilles didn't fall down to such an attack. "....She lost.." Osprey frowns as he stands up, ready to get his round ready as the others heard him. "Pyrrha?" Ruby asked with a concerned tone with Osprey shaking his head and pointing to the ring. "No...Mythra." Yang was the only one who didn't looked shocked as soon they heard the sounds of footsteps coming out of the smoke. And with trails of it on his body as his eyes shine bright red with rage and his barrier covering his body, lance aimed straight ahead by his hip...Achilles continues his charge towards a frightened Hikari.

"Im-impossible..." Mythra's voice shakes, while Pyrrha still scowls at her. "You put up a good effort..." Achilles, within striking distance of Hikari, rears his spear back... "But..." Pyrrha closes her eyes and turn away. "You lost the moment you chose to fight me, someone who have a noble goal to stride for.." And with that statement, the sound of metal crunching against flesh and bones ring out as Hikari hack up blood and is rocketing towards the wall of the arena past Mythra after Achilles damn near pierces her with his lance.


Mythra turn around and see Hikari's body falling on the ground writhing in pain. Alive, but shaking as medical team come and delicately put her up on a stretcher and carry her to the medical room. She didn't hear the roaring crowd cheering on Pyrrha, or her sister calling out to her, all she could hear was her heartbeat, hoping that Hikari can at least live after such an attack. "Hi-Hikari..." What hurts her the most was when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She was prepped to slap whoever would touch her right now before seeing Osprey staring at her.

"....Mythra..." He speak to her with a quieter tone, Iori behind him with a passive look. "...You should go see your monster and provide support..." He may not had looked like it nor even sound like it, but just hearing him provide SOME kind of support mean a lot to her as she struggles not to cry in front of everyone. "Ri-right.." She put on a fake smile that even Osprey knew was fake, but he wouldn't comment on it as she hug him tightly and whispers. "Thank you.." Before she let go and jog after her monster. Osprey watching her silently before looking at his chest with a non-emotive look.

"She's been itching to fight you, you know.." A new voice rings out as Rhiannon, with Akuma by her side, stroll up to him with a contemplative look aimed at the hallway where Mythra ran to. "Always talked about you with everyone...And to see her crushed in such a manner like this.." She shakes her head in sympathy. "In front of a giant crowd no less..."

"....She didn't have to do that." Rin blink as she look at the back of Osprey who's looking at the dugout where Pyrrha's at. "I'm sorry?" "Pyrrha...she was clearly stronger than Mythra here with her monster against Hikari...that Limit Break of hers was overkill and she know it."

".......You think so?" She watches as he clenches his hands before putting them in his coat pocket and walk off to the other side of the arena with Iori. "I know so...." He stops and look at her. "No worries...I will not use my anger on you, I'll save that for the next round." It took her and Akuma moments to register what he meant as she smirks "Heh..gonna have to beat me first, pal..I too have been trying to see which one of us is better."

For a brief moment, she saw a smirk on Osprey's face before he turned back to walking to the other side of the arena. Akuma pat her on the back with one of his claws as he walk on in front of her. Osprey stop on his side of the arena and face her as Iori get into his stance while Akuma stomps the ground and get into his.

"(This is gonna be a very tough battle, I am gonna have to use my Limit Break if I wanna win here..") Rin grits her teeth.
Osprey glances over at Pyrrha and scowls before looking onward to the field. "(I don't normally feel mad for others...)" Thinking back on how Mythra threw herself on him and being very nice to him. He felt...angry for her to lose.
"(But once I beat Rin here...Your ass is next, bitch...)"
