No doubt there are ambassadors out there who think highly of their station -- take pride in it, even. If you're looking for that kind of ambassador, look elsewhere: Starfall isn't that kind of ambassador. Indeed, Starfall cultivates the air of one who hasn't got a diplomatic bone in his body -- an air belied only by his tendency to produce witty retorts and one-liners that could force even the most stoic dignitary to crack a smile. It's an unorthodox approach to diplomacy, perhaps, but he makes it work.

Born to exalted Arcane priests and raised from an early age to put his destiny and future station before all else, Starfall grew to resent his lot in life "straight from the egg," to hear him tell it. He quickly grew to cringe at even hearing the word [i]destiny[/i], a trait which he's yet to shake even in his adulthood.

While other dragons his age were off having adventures and seeing the world, Starfall was left behind desks piled high with scrolls and books and made to study, study, [i]study[/i] the art of the ambassadorial role. Buried beneath his studies, Starfall could only dream of having his own adventures -- and only if he fell asleep before he got too tired for dreaming.

He's more or less settled into his role as Arcane ambassador for Clan Canephora, though he still dreams of seeing the world with his own two eyes. Failing that, Starfall makes it a point to chat up whoever he happens upon, subtly probing for information on the world beyond his clan through his witty and at times overtly flirtatious manner of speaking. If he could name one thing he enjoys about his post (and it would be difficult, he'd say, but he'd [i]try[/i]) it's the [i]inexhaustible[/i] networking opportunities.
