Why would a person donate money to a PAC, rather than directly to a campaign?
A person would rather donate to a PAC rather than directly to a campaign because the amount of money that one can donate as an individual is limited.
What are some issues that come up with donating money to PACs?
PACs also have a restricted amount of money that they’re able to donate.

Corporations are unable to give money to PACs thus need to give money directly to campaigns.
What is a Super PAC?
An independent expenditure only committee. A mean of corporations independently funding elections together.
What was the impact of the ruling in Citizens United?
Corporations were then able to spend an unlimited amount of labor money in federal elections independently.
Describe the difference between a PAC and a Super PAC.
Super PACs cannot donate to political parties or to a specific candidate. Furthermore, there is no limit to how much one can donate to a super PAC.

Media exemption refers to broadcasting stations not associated with a party or candidate being exempt from corporate contributions.
What effect are the laws regarding campaign finance having on election campaigns?
Broadcasting corporations are now able to update the public about campaigns as long as they do not associate with a party or candidate.

Big corporations do not want to donate money to a SuperPAC because their name would be disclosed.
What are the advantages to a 501c4? (c4)
Donations to a 501c4 are anonymous meaning others are unable to know whether or not one donated.
What are some of the uses of money from a 501c4?
Money in a 501c4 can be used for various political purposes including (but not limited to): funding campaigns, donating to candidates.
