Thank you, Jester!

As we all bid our final farewells to you, Jester, I wanted to add my own thoughts. You and I come from very different worlds.  As an academic, I don't come into contact with the types of folks that like or hate you.  But, when I learned about you, I was captivated by the spirit of good that you embody in a world full of trolls and hackerz.  You have been our cyber batman working toward eradicating online terrorist cells.  While the technology has changed over the past 5 years, your spirit has not.  Your dedication to our soldiers and their families has been constant.  You've dodged cyber bullets of those more interested in doxxing you than working toward ending terrorism.  You have endured stalkers, crazy asshats, and downright jerks.  But, you still focused on your target.  I don't know what you have planned next, but I wish you all the success this world can offer.  Thank you for connecting me to great people like Mach2600, Jose, Beth, and the rest.  Thank you for allowing me to be queen of the Jester's Angels "panty brigade" fan club.  But, most of all, thank you for being an example to us. We have much work to do to make this world right again.  Peace and Love, J.  XXOOXX
