[19:27] <AmbitiousAvocado> It looks a little silly but if you managed to get the curves and rifling right it's technically not impossible
[19:27] <haughtyArtemis> Not impossible, but how practical?  That would have to cost a bunch of the momentum, right?
[19:29] <AmbitiousAvocado> Most likely, however considering the force already behind a bullet you could still do damage but range and accuracy would be drastically reduced.

[19:29] <AmbitiousAvocado> It may be why it is depicted as in a hallway as the only use would be close range.

[19:42] <haughtyArtemis> There's a difference between a weapon and a relic.  Something like that won't protect you.

[19:44] <haughtyArtemis> But it's still not much of a gun compared to Gideon and Donovan.
[19:44] <AmbitiousAvocado> And nothing beats the intricate matching and moving parts of the wheel lock receiver. All the little bits that just fit perfectly
[19:45] <haughtyArtemis> Alright, yes.  It's a beautiful piece of ART, but that's different from being a practical tool.

[19:59] <AmbitiousAvocado> the second is plain and simple. You take a musket ball, hollow it out and shove way too much black powder in there. Your rifle is not an impromptu shotgun
[19:59] <AmbitiousAvocado> The down side to that is at this point there's not way to stop it from happening inside the barrel. Or the receiver for that matter

[20:03] <AmbitiousAvocado> Last but not least is really not so much for a weapon but more a utility. Basically I stole some of my dads climbing spikes, shaved it down a bit and attached a chain to it.
[20:03] <AmbitiousAvocado> The idea is a rifle propelled grappling hook, but I've really no way to test it

[20:04] <haughtyArtemis> I may need to try that with one of the boys.
[20:06] <AmbitiousAvocado> Really it's all pretty much experimental. Most of my ideas start out as tools but turn out weaponized thanks to popular demand.
