- >Nation's Fluff: TLDR: DEMON COMPANY
- Some say when you die and go to heaven, you become an angel. I tell you that the converse is true.
- There are two types of demons in hell, those ancient ones who were created the way they are, and those tortured souls who were corrupted into demons. Formed by the latter of these and one Bazrael CEO, the Hellfire Inc. is a collection of business oriented demons seeking to make financial expansion operations throughout the universes in an ever expanding real estate bid. Hell is too hot, but most planets are too cold. Through advanced technologies and magic, and making deals with whoever, or whatever, they encounter they create the perfect atmosphere for the construction of cities and suburbia for all creatures of hellspawn and darkness to live in: dark skies that block out the sun, fire conditioning in every home, and a lava pool in everyone's back yard. They pride themselves on their collective unity and industry.
- Hellfire demons contrast themselves to the natural demons, whom they are always fighting with. Where the ancient ones look monstrous with twisted horns, sharpened fangs, and all manner of horror, Hellfire demons take the forms of men, combing their hair and horns, wearing none but the finest formal business attire and always a smile, tried and true business practice. Instead of extending pitchforks, they extend contracts and deals.
- You might think it was best they stay in hell, though I'd say you should spend a day in there and then see if you'd be okay with eternity. And one this is true, even if they are defeated, it isn't them you should fear, but what often waits behind them, to pounce on weakness.
- To that end, the Hellfire Corporation shows no weakness.
- >Leader's Name: Hazazel
- >Leader's Fluff:
- Hellfire Corporation prides itself in heirarchy and organization. There is a rank, file, and order to everything. Bazrael may be CEO and Hellfire has a Board of Directors, but even they could not possibly govern the multiverses that hell links together.
- New expansion operations are treated as branch divisions, each with its own subsector CEO and its own board of directors. Generally speaking, the higher up in the chain the older, and more powerful, you likely are. Sure they shapeshift as men, but deep down all that power still exists there, to transform into the very monsters they despise. As much as Hellfire dislikes it, they still share kindred blood with the Other Demons.
- This branch division is led by one Hazazel. It's true that it's expected all the high ranking officers be clever as foxes with all the coy and craftiness of an eel, but the real responsibilities of an executive officer are far more serious. In his charge are lost souls seeking a better afterlife, and not only must he deal with expanding to keep up with the eternal exodus, he must also be preferred to deal with potentially hostile natives, limited resources, and all manner of unknowns and unseens. Hellfire only puts those persons who will and can care deeply enough for the good of the company. For the people ARE the company, and are customer and product both.
- They say the that the officers are the embodiment of Hellfire, the shape of a man, but the inner potential of a monster. Perhaps they are right. Take heart at his friendliness and warmth, never threaten his people, or you will know what true hellfire can be.
- >Cities: 1
- [Naraka VI] Hellfire's primary demonic hive city in this dimensional sector, built around a hell portal that opened up which still spews forth more demons and flame. Built to resemble the 9 rings of hell turned upside down (which is symbolic) it is a round city comprised of buildings and skyscrapers set in concentric rings, with the tallest and highest structures in the middle.
- Hellfire has very distinct levels of both wealth and knowledge, just as hell takes in souls from all walks of life, from cavedwellers to astronauts. The lowest ring houses the least wealth demons en masse, and has the crudest technological leve, to help introduce new concepts to new arrivals who haven't seen technology. If you become wealthy, smart, or powerful enough you may climb 'up the ring' to the next level, where life successively gets more advanced and the jobs become less labor and more management and responsibilities of intellect and organization. At the top of the tallest structure in the center houses is the conference room and Hazazel's office itself.
