- Let's try this again.
- The Guren Mk-I (AKA the Prototype / proof of concept machine)
- PICTURES LINK AT THE BOTTOM. BLAME NUKE. (I'm sorry senpai...)
- Specs:
- AMD FX-8320 8-core CPU @3.5GHz (can't be bothered with OCing)
- 16GB Kingston HyperX Fury White 1866MHz DDR3 RAM (2x8GB Kit)
- MSI Twin FROZR GTX 770 4GB
- Kingston HyperX Savage 240GB SSD (C: Drive, with the original drive of the Kingston HyperX 3K having failed spectacularly after 13 months)
- Kingston SSDNow V300 240GB SSD (D: Drive, mainly programs and games)
- Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm HDD (E: Drive, Games, mass storage, screen captures etc)
- Corsair CX750M Semi-modular Power Supply (Because Reasons)
- ASUS M5A99X EVO R 2.0 990FX Motherboard (Best I could reasonably afford)
- Fractal Design Define R4 Arctic White with side window
- Samsung D3 Station 3TB 7200rpm External HDD (backups mainly)
- Seagate 1TB 5400rpm 2.5" HDD (ripped out of my laptop and recommissioned as an imaging drive for my SSDs (once bitten, twice wary))
- Corsair K70 Cherry MX Brown keyboard (who needs all those macro keys anyways?)
- Anker 8200DPI Laser Gaming Mouse (something like £20 on Amazon) running at 1600DPI (because I'm not stupid, just slightly crazy)
- SteelSeries Siberia V2 headset
- Samsung SyncMaster P2270HD (22" LCD Monitor) with an LG 32LN575V TV as the secondary display
- TP-Link 8-port Gigabit Unmanaged Network Switch hooked up to a Solwise 500Mbps Powerline passthrough adapter (so all the plug sockets in my house are effectively an Ethernet drop) running through to a Netgear Nighthawk X4 R7500 router which hooks up to our brand new Telco supplied modem and on to the great Internet (i.e. this place)
- And, me, I think. Not sure there's much else on my PC that I can name. Except the CD/DVD drive...
- Other pics (not of me though...)
