- Uri Vs Prince Alexander + Cadet Training
- There comes a time where every cadet, no matter their profession to prove themselves. So, Uri ended up first sparring against the Prince named Alexander, a fight that brought him so close to victory, that if he timed his final strike right. He would have won for sure, however, Uri would only grow and learn from this, seeing why it is vital to protect the prince, even considering that if he truly does become the Phoenix of the land Osrona, then he would definitely work to protect a prince. Even if that person grew to be stronger than himself. This weakness, did lead to some rage, issues that Uri would have to handle himself, to now utilize flame in a fit of rage, but through a clear mind, one with compassion, so that he may one day forge the flames that will defend the lives of many.
- Uri got himself into a familiar fighting stance. The young apprentice in training to become a medic knew that he would fight one day. And he might as well be ready for it, after all, demons and other forms of people who wished them dead wouldn't hesitate to strike the medics first as they are the main support to keep the fight going.
- Uri would then focus on the heat within his body. Yes, like many others he possessed fire magic, but nothing too extreme that he can speak about. "Let's go," he was ready as a burst of flame shrouds over his body, bearing witness to the cosmic aura.
- Oh boy...
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [19:54] Faira remains silent and observes.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [19:54] "Prince fighting?"
- The Rhoynish boy crawls into the building in boredom. Curiously looking around, his eyes settle on a few familiar faces. Those of the royal family and the Solenne from earlier.
- He stops by the side of the Queen and stares forward.
- Uhli had never seen the Crown Prince fight, and he was curious of their abilities. It causes his heart to beat faster. His mother was the strongest in his eyes... So he wonders how they compare even with their youth.
- (Uhli)
- [20:00] Cosmic meets fire and then hard, unarmed strikes that wittles the Prince's frame. Until his cosmic magic shines through.
- Alexander smiled at his mother's comments and made his way forward after that close match. The glow of Leoanus settles around him and Alexander extends his hands to bring Uri to his feet by his shoulders.
- "Well done! That was close," he grinned. The star magic around him stars to fade, to a mere brush of yellow dust.
- (Alexander ras Petrakis)
- [20:01] Grey Sanctum says, "Oh he does"
- [20:01] Grey Sanctum asks, "cosmic?"
- [20:01] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "..."
- [20:01] Grey Sanctum says, "That- that's interesting."
- [20:01] Faira flinches at the word.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [20:01] Grey Sanctum says, "I! am going to get something to drink."
- [20:01] It was clear that his mastery of fire was not going anywhere right now. Times were slow but he would not blame himself... Uri saw it as a learning process, after all, the dual was a very close one, down to the final strike meaning. The first to land would be the one to win, and with his luck, Uri was the loser in this match.
- "It was a good match," the flames around him would fade away, accepting the help of the cosmic prince. "Didn't expect to see this kind of magic amongst my peers..." He knew he was falling behind, he had to make his ancestors proud and one day get blessed by the stars themselves.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- Uri would do the same in formation, standing in the position of attention, waiting for the speech.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [20:19] The knight looked over the gathered crowd of Cadets, and potentially otherwise in a few others. A hazel gaze scanned each of them for a brief moment as arms folded before his torso. A deep inhale came before he spoke.
- "Well, everyone firstly.. good work. We were able to appropriately measure your capabilities, to see where you all stand. How some of you measure up. Do not be alarmed if you feel you performed ineptly. You each have three years to bolster your talents.. and I'm certain in that time the hierarchy of who stands where will influx several times."
- He sighed once, lids falling shut.
- "You've each heard my spill, you know the roles you now play. The things expected of you. The things you might very well lose while upholding your oaths. I recommend, strongly, coming together in your own time and working together to build eachother up.. else.." he shrugged.
- "You each know your duties. Pray early, patrol when you're available, uphold the law to an appropriate standard. I expect great things. From each of you." He nodded, opening his eyes to display that hazel gaze once more.
- "Dismissed."
- (August cos Solenne)
- [20:20] Titus gave-way to a sweeping of his brow from the sweat upon it, nodding his head towards Faira's wave. His expression turned to a grimace, at his poorly timed arrival as he'd heard the order of 'dismissal'.
- His eye looking to those around he remained only silently nodding his head, awaiting to see if anything of interest might pop up in the ranks of Cadets.
- (Titus Aquilinus)
- [20:22] Aerilon Tsuchai says, "Certainly a crowd"
- [20:22] Cyran Faeris says, "Lovely."
- [20:22] Weiss Anam says, "Talkative bunch at that."
- [20:22] Hadwin Hazaiah says, "I dare agree..."
- [20:22] With the current orders given she would make her way out exiting the Dojo. Faira displayed her Fire's Dominance. Soon it would spread and become that which she sought to achieve.
- A Wildfire..
- "Understood."
- She would state before walking into a group of people she had never seen before.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- [20:22] Faira La Enfer Sanctum asks, "Mmm..?"
- [20:22] Weiss Anam says, "Looks like some sort of training excersize."
- [20:22] "I am High Lady Asta Hargrave of Myllenoris, Speaker of Spirits, Chosen of Aschea, Highest of Teraphim. I demand Lord Grimmore."
- The Lady speaks proud, true, but not very loudly.
- She's followed by a cohort of very pale, pointy-eared friends.
- (Asta Hargrave)
- [20:23] Dismissed? He heard the word so clearly, but he did not want to leave. He wanted to train some more. That little ember of flame within him was craving some fuel in order to grow. So Uri did not leave, he only went into parade rest, and waited for the arena to clear up a bit.
- He looks to Faira, "Sister, how about we stick around and train some more huh? I might be a medic, but I won't let you keep advancing without me."
- He had the heart and compassion of only one spirit in the making. A little Phoenix.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [20:36] After following along for this detail. He kept his eyes open, standing at the position of attention. He had a kit with him, thought it was nothing to patch up any big injuries. All he could do, was give simple first aid, nothing special really... He has yet to get his license as a medical cadet, he was not like his grandmother Elora just yet.
- He kept silent for now, and focused his concertation on the flame within. Breathing to make that little ember within larger with each inhale and let it shrink through him exhaling. It was all that he could do, in order to continue his training while on this set of orders.
- "Let the life around you be fuel... But, let the life within you be the weapon... " He had a few long blinks here and there but it gave him focus, and something to do while they wait... He had no weapons so his fingers were interlocked, as if he were meditating while standing.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [20:56] He would nod his head to those words of encouragement. Because day by day, he would break his shell and embrace the world. He wouldn't be so shy anymore, he will one day be as outgoing as a true Sanctum... Confidence sourcing from skill and his will to do better... To be more than an apprentice, and one day make his grandmother Elora proud through his medical studies.
- But for now, he would breath... "Steady does it." He whispers as heat is slowly formed within his being. He was molding his mana, inhaling to build up heat and exhaling to let it all cool down. He would continue this little routine of his for a while as they were not exactly doing much within the castle, non other than keeping guard.
- And for Uri, this was a good way to stay focused, to keep his flames strong and be well prepared in the face of danger if anything were to happen here. "Easy does it..." He whispers once again, closing his eyes for a brief moment as he took one great wiff, a large inhale, causing his body to warm up a bit much, maybe an accidental overheat upon himself. Only to release it in a small embering breath of fire.
- He would follow Faira and stand at the position of attention, saluting the members of the family they swore to serve.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [21:09] Young Uri continued to meditate. Breathing with a cycle, as if it was in the nose and out the mouth. This breathing practice would continue for another hour in this castle. It brought him some focus, but the flames within will surely grow from him adding onto the routine.
- Otherwise known as the “complete†breath, the three-part breath is simultaneously stress relieving and energizing. It serves to increase oxygen levels in the blood. To practice it, start by sitting tall in a comfortable position. On the inhalation, allow the diaphragm and lungs to expand fully, first from the belly, then from the ribs, then into the chest, and finally into the throat. On the exhalation, hollow out the lungs, pulling the navel in toward the spine. Uri would repeat several times.
- In and out, like a rotation. He would mold the flame within, trying to turn this little candle into a torch. This was just another form of conscious breathing, fully aware of what he was doing and how he wanted to do it. "Expand..." He told himself in a whisper under his breath. If anything, Faira would feel a slight warmth from her brother Uri. This warmth was nothing more than his routine, his practice of fire breathing to kill some time.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [21:33] Again, there was nothing going on. So Uri would continue his training. Even though there was some commotion, it was all out of his power to deal with. For his mission was here and so was his focus. Basically, the element fire is the opposite to water. People may think that fire is just destructive and kills anything within sight but really with out fire most of our stuff wouldn't be here today. Fire magic is strong, it is destructive, but through magic, the sky is the limit and so is the potential of fire.
- Perhaps it could even heal if one tried hard enough. Maybe flames could be forged around the body as more than a simple shroud. After all, wasn't that the goal? To become a master of the flames, to better show the world that he would be deserving of the title known as the Northern Phoenix. Now, this was no great journey to the west, but Uri had many things to keep in mind.
- The virtue and task of his family were priority, next to his duties as a cadet which stood above the rest. So, because he did not want to be seen relaxing or just standing around. He would train some more, turning that warmth around his body into a small collection of flames that would shroud around his body. This was the first of many steps he will take in mastering the art of fire, to use in total unison with his unarmed abilities.
- After seeing the prince utilize his cosmic magic. Uri knew that he would have to step up his training, as the cosmic magic was something he aspired to achieve. To be more like his great grandmother Fleur and obtain more to be worthy of nobility. One day at the least. "Osrona is home, Osrona is us." He kept this thought as he breathes in and out, making his flame stronger by the day as he trains.

- [22:44] Uri looking at Roxy to get a view of her face. He greets with a positive tone, "I'm surprised you're learning from my sister... Be careful, she doesn't really hold much back," he teased Faira.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:44] Uri Sanctum says, "..."
- [22:44] Uri Sanctum asks, "Why is it red?"
- [22:45] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Hm.."
- [22:45] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "This is good..."
- [22:45] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "I feel ignited here."
- [22:45] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Both of you."
- [22:45] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Step forward."
- [22:46] Uri Sanctum says, "Alright."
- [22:46] Roxy Gracias says, "Y-yes."
- [22:46] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "I want to make two things clear."
- [22:47] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "I'm going to push both of you beyond your current limits."
- [22:47] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Secondly."
- [22:47] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Try your best and beyond."
- [22:47] Faira 's flames would flare even brighter.
- (Faira La Enfer Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:47] Faira La Enfer Sanctum says, "Let's begin."
- [22:50] Roxy nodded, understanding Faira's intent. Her eyes sharpened, and her hands glew with her magical energy, a swirling vortex shape surrounding her. "Yes. I understand," she stated plainly. She was serious, as being a Cadet of the First Light was her first step into a new life. She was determined to succeed, and she strived greatly to do so. She was an empty canvas, and she wanted to make sure that whatever she painted was going to be grand.
- There were no further words from her. She merely waited, listening for Faira's signal. She wasn't planning on letting her down this time.
- (Roxy Gracias)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [22:53] Feeling some inferiority with this. Uri got into a stance. He said no words, he knew what it meant to be paired with someone, that his current power was not enough to take on Faira alone right now. After all, he couldn't even cast a single flame. He was behind in some ways, but only due to his choice of learning.
- He said nothing, only did he display his stance of the Iron Fist, and his body would emit a burst of flame. A shroud of fire to protect and enhance him in more ways than one. Quite frankly, he was tired of being seen as weak, as someone who needed protecting... He was not like his ancestors who'd keep to vows. No, Uri would take the chance he had, to pursue strength.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:01] Roxy fell to her knees, exhausted after the rounds upon rounds of combat. She started to breath heavily, but she tried her best to maintain her composure, the air around her, as heavy as it was, felt lighter with all the adrenaline fueling her body. "Hhaah… I... gave it my all," she stated, slowly rising to her feet. She knew the battles were uneven, with the two on one dynamic, but it was still a tougher battle than she could have imagined.
- However, taking a moment to reflect on those battles, she started to learn... started to realize 'how' to fight. She hasn't quite achieved Faira's level yet, but she began to see what she was doing wrong, and would attempt to fix the issue during the next rounds they compete in.
- (Roxy Gracias)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [23:01] Uri had to push himself through team work. Though all the while, it was like his body was complaining to him. "This isn't right." He thought to himself as each punch, taken as an advantage shot for every moment Faira was damaged thanks to Roxy...
- "This isn't the way." He was mad at himself, and the flame within would only boil. Burning hotter and hotter even upon victory as he was mad at himself. "This isn't a true victory!" He shouts, frustrated with himself, with his growth.
- He would not stand for this. He felt so behind while everyone else seemed so far ahead. He had trained day in and day out within the arts of fire, yet he could get nothing. His potential within the flames only opened so slightly, a partial awakening whilst his sister had so much more...
- "I need some time alone," the young teen said coldly, with flames burning so bright around him, only to disappear. He needed guidance from either Inante or his grandmother Elora once more. For he could not contain this rage this frustration within.
- (Uri Sanctum)
- [23:28] After getting away, full of anger for being so weak when compared to his sister. Uri wondered, if he even went the right route, if following the path of the unarmed was truly for him as it made him seal with many set backs upon his journey... He truly wondered about his own self worth as the flames around him would send out upon his rage, unfocused and scattered.
- "Why am I so weak compared to her... We are the same age, yet... I'm nothing like her, I'm not as strong and probably never will be... I lack magic... Because I'm so behind the rest... What the hell is wrong with me..."
- His first few days as a cadet were hard as it took him on one hell of an emotional roller coaster. The flames shroud would then disappear from around his body as the young teen began to cool down... He needed to forgive himself, to find strength in what made him weak...
- "I'll learn, to breathe the fire... There's no point, in slowing people down if I can't even deal great damage to them?..." There was just so much on his mind, yet, the progress was being shown... He just did not know it yet. That he was taking those steps towards the golden flames of the Phoenix.
