  1. [19:56] Alyssa cos D'Arnette asks, "Is the one who tries to steal the land of the Queen present?"
  2. [19:58] The man burned head to toe looks at the group. He shakes his head, "Just missed 'em. Whos asking?" He asks this just for Alyssa. Since she is the only one he doesn't know. Or hasn't seen rather. It was clear she was here to take us in those.
  3.
  4. 'Damned bandit scum.' A eat shit look is given to the Parsis.
  5. (Asim)
  6. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  7.
  8. [20:02] As Asim was the first to address them, in normal circumstances, he would've simply stayed quiet, but he didn't want much of the attention on them, and speaks afterwards while taking a step forward, his posture relaxed despite the situation they seemed to be in, though the eyes under the hood reflected the caution he had on that moment.
  9.
  10. "Yes, like my friend said, they're not here at the moment. If you want, I can speak with you instead.
  11.
  12. Or you can go and return at a later date."
  13.
  14. He remains standing in front of the two others, wanting to attract most of the attention to himself in case a fight was to start.
  15. (Rain Multhunder)
  16. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17.
  18. [20:04] Kris went straight into an emotional state. While they raise fingers to point at both of the brothers, they also were looking right at Alyssa.
  19.
  20. "These two raided our encampment not even that long ago and you bring them back here personally. For what reason?" Alyssa would find herself in question, though perhaps she didn't know the truth.
  21.
  22. "They burned a man's legs off and nearly took his life. Look at my friend here-" Kris gestured to Asim. Their armed wrapped to help with the grievous burns left in the wake of their raid here. "He was burned as well by these two. I have no intention of actually doing treason, but there two are not welcome!" Kris sounded quite emotional and sincere. There had certainly been a event with these two to bring this state out of them.
  23. (Krís)
  24. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25.
  26. [20:07] She had only just left here not too, only to find the Commander was less merciful than she with the actions of the false King.
  27.
  28. The warrant issued and her posse gathered she returned to carry out the orders she had been given.
  29.
  30. "The Commander of the Watch has overridden my previously merciful request, and I am to arrest him and any who would interfere in his arrest.
  31.
  32. So just to get some things out of the way quickly, any of you here who follow him. Renounce him in the name of Queen Petrakis if you will not interfere in his arrest."
  33.
  34. Her silver hues shifting to Kris, a response to his question.
  35.
  36. "The Commander assigned them to accompany me, given their familiarity with the desert. Though my demands do not change.
  37.
  38. Those who do not renounce will be arrested now, those who renounce and do so as an untruth will be charged with more serious crimes when they are arrested.
  39.
  40. Choose."
  41.
  42. Her arms cross, that same dimming of the light emanating from her.
  43. (Alyssa cos D'Arnette)
  44. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  45.
  46. [20:07] Kelly Kirk asks, "...Remind me again why they're taking these morons seriously?"
  47. [20:08] Mizuki Mora says, "I don't know what is going on."
  48. [20:08] Mizuki Mora says, "Habits of day dreaming."
  49. [20:08] Caelus parts his lips ever so slightly, glancing between Alyssa and those gathered about. Initially confused the man just slowly bobs his head.
  50. (Caelus Lunaris)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [20:09] Kelly Kirk says, "Hey, Alyssa."
  54. [20:09] Alyssa cos D'Arnette says, "Kelly."
  55. [20:09] Akari Lunaris says, "I'm..not gonna ask.."
  56. [20:09] Kelly Kirk says, "Tell me why Task thinks a bunch of buffoons in the desert are a serious threat."
  57. [20:09] Alyssa cos D'Arnette says, "Ask him."
  58. [20:09] Kelly Kirk asks, "Why didn't you ask him?"
  59. [20:09] Darius Parsi asks, "Why would a bunch of buffoons in the woods be a serious threat, as well?"
  60. [20:09] Darius Parsi says, "It's all a matter of time."
  61. [20:09] Andromeda ven Grimmore says, "A threat? Don't be a fool. They are no threat."
  62. [20:09] Andromeda ven Grimmore says, "..But they're insulting our queen. Our city."
  63. [20:09] Darius Parsi says, "Not now, at least."
  64. [20:09] * You have been awarded 4 Roleplay Points! *
  65. [20:10] Krís whispers: We should Lie!
  66. [20:10] Tokiwa Multhunder whispers: they don't know drag is sleeping in the sand.
  67. [20:11] Kelly Kirk says, "....This is all just rubbing me the wrong way. Paca, Tokiwa, Rain were all friends of mine..."
  68. [20:11] Krís whispers: Just keep to a lie. We just live here and King is a cook- They might believe it!
  69. [20:11] Alyssa cos D'Arnette says, "If they choose to follow one who declares himself a King falsely, then your friends are criminals and have committed treason."
  70. [20:12] Kelly Kirk says, "Alyssa."
  71. [20:12] Kelly Kirk says, "Paca is as dense as a lead brick."
  72. [20:12] Alyssa cos D'Arnette says, "An unfortunate condition, one that will make him sink himself when he dives into waters he cannot swim in."
  73. [20:12] Kelly Kirk says, "...."
  74. [20:12] Kelly Kirk says, "Fuck you, Alyssa."
  75. [20:13] Asim whispers: Yea a ruse would be a good idea...
  76. [20:13] Alyssa cos D'Arnette says, "Thank you for the offer, but my wife does a lovely job already."
  77. [20:13] Krís says, "Gross."
  78. [20:13] Darius Parsi says, "... gross."
  79. [20:14] Krís whispers: Stick to the facade! She already thinks I live out here.
  80. [20:14] Akari Lunaris says, "It isn't that gross.."
  81. [20:14] Krís says, "...I'll judge it when I try it."
  82. [20:15] Tokiwa Multhunder says, "it isn't that gross...."
  83. [20:15] Tokiwa Multhunder says, "<felt kind of nice with a woman.>"
  84. [20:15] Darius Parsi says, "No one needs to know, geez."
  85. [20:15] Darius Parsi says, "Keep it in yer pants."
  86. [20:15] Mizuki Mora whispers something.
  87. [20:15] Kelly Kirk says, "Paca's being deceived, and Rain adn Tokiwa have a kid."
  88. [20:15] Kelly Kirk says, "If you're going to have them executed, I am not having it."
  89. [20:16] Alyssa cos D'Arnette says, "Their sentence is not my choice Kelly, you should be aware of that."
  90. [20:16] Krís exclaims, "Yeah! -And me and Asim have been nomads years before pitching a tent here!"
  91. [20:16] Mizuki Mora says, "Kelly."
  92. [20:16] Kelly Kirk says, "..."
  93. [20:16] Kelly Kirk asks, "What the fuck should I do then?"
  94. [20:16] Alyssa cos D'Arnette says, "If they renounce their false King then there are no issues unless they lie."
  95. [20:16] Kelly Kirk asks, "Watch them get butchered?"
  96. [20:16] Ka Parsi asks, "What are ye gonna do?"
  97. [20:17] Kelly Kirk says, "I've had enough of just standing back and watching people get hurt. I know there'll be no peaceful resolution to all of this."
  98. [20:17] Ka Parsi says, "Shoo. Y'ain't useful here."
  99. [20:17] Akari Lunaris whispers something.
  100. [20:19] Mizuki Mora whispers something.
  101. [20:22] An indiferente expression is kept under the man's hood as he simply listens to those around. So these two were the one's who assaulted his friends, he would remember that, they would pay when the time came.
  102.
  103. The man seems to seriously consider this, what to do... what to do...
  104.
  105. In the first place, the simple thought of actually renouncing Dragmire disgusted him to no end, and simply seeing Alyssa and the Parsi Brothers made the man want to do nothing but kill them.
  106.
  107. Still, he didn't want to die right now, he also had a son.
  108.
  109. "Alright, I've made my decision..."
  110.
  111. ...
  112.
  113. A glance is taken towards the other, a soft expression on his face as he pulls his hood back and looks at the other three beside him.
  114.
  115. "I'm sorry."
  116.
  117. His gaze goes back to Alyssa and the others who are here to arrest those faithful to Dragmire, his eyes now cold.
  118.
  119. "I won't renounce."
  120.
  121. He wouldn't do it, even if he could save his own ass right now by doing so, he wouldn't.
  122.
  123. "Even if I could save myself by renouncing him, I wouldn't do it. Osrona abandoned the Faith no one really cared about it anymore. Even when others gave up on it, and I was basically the last Clergy member still trying to help others, it was like the Faith was just tossed to the wayside."
  124.
  125. His staff is taken out from his back, and he slams the butt of the staff on the ground.
  126.
  127. "I didn't really see a reason to stay in Osrona or hope for myself there, and he gave me that. I'll not betray his trust."
  128.
  129. He knew he would more than likely lose and maybe drag others into this, but he couldn't betray Dragmire.
  130. (Rain Multhunder)
  131. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  132.
  133. [20:30] Tokiwa seeing that her husband made his decision she would sigh slowly turning to hand her child to Kris she would slowly offer a rather weak smile figuring this might be where she would meet her fate after all Tokiwa knew what happened to those who were taken in as prisoners.
  134.
  135. Stepping beside her husband she would slowly take her blade which had green glowing ley lines across the surface of the blade. pointing it to alyssia she would shake her head. "I stand by my husband in this manner..." She said calmly.
  136.
  137. Although it was obvious to anyone she would be afraid of the words she chose. "I can't stand by a kingdom that would so willing execute its citizens in secret...my friends have died for a cause they thought was just and they were innocent of the charges they made against them."
  138.
  139. As she spook she took a deep breath her eyes trained on the people infront of them clearly not going to leave her husbands side. "Or shall you explain on why knights are free to abduct people from their homes and finish them off for good on mere word alone?" She asked while she knew this would more then likely escalate the situation further.
  140. (Tokiwa Multhunder)
  141. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  142.
  143. [20:32] The heavily wounded man lets out a painful sigh. He doesn't wish to die here. This would be a tragic end however this is nothing but a corrupted mess. We haven't done anything... is someone calling themselves a king a problem. This place is only a few tents! With about twenty-five families. This is petty.
  144.
  145. He looks to the group to his side. To Kelly mainly. "Do you see what these bandits have done to me? I have been maimed because they wish to claim this land as their own. We haven't done anything. Yes our leader has gone around acting as a kind but we just have a few tents! Is Orsona so petty as to kill a small group of nomads?
  146.
  147. These bandits came to our camp threatening to kill us! They turned that on us..." The man is pleading for help in some manner. They literally are just going to attack random people because of free speech?
  148.
  149. "All were here to do is to have peace of mind from the war. These is ridiculous. I might wish to renounce my liege... but I won't let my friends just die and run..."
  150.
  151. His yellow hues look back to the hostile group. He shakes his head. This will be his grave if the others don't help... no doubt!
  152. (Asim)
  153. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  154.
  155. [20:37] Timothy Espaze whispers something.
  156. [20:37] Mizuki Mora whispers something.
  157. [20:38] Mizuki Mora whispers something.
  158. [20:38] Timothy Espaze whispers something.
  159. [20:39] Timothy Espaze whispers something.
  160. [20:39] Mizuki Mora whispers something.
  161. [20:39] Mizuki narrows her gaze at Timothy.
  162. (Mizuki Mora)
  163. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  164.
  165. [20:40] Alvin Multhunder
  166.
  167. In their arms was entrusted to hold and protect fragile new life in the world. Blue eyes began to water over the infant as Kris looked around and landed on Tokiwa. Tears would drop and Kris could not believe the events about to unfold..No, they didn't want to experience it.
  168.
  169. Slowly, the meek dancer would fasten the infant in their arms and back away. With caution, but not enough to raise alarm. Kris would flee with the child to protect their lives.
  170.
  171. This was an unspeakable horror in the time of a warring kingdom. A petty tribe of desert nomads being struck for simply existing and defining themselves different. This would be twice before a fortnight would even come to pass that they were oppressed.
  172.
  173. Asim. A companion for years with themselves in the nomadic ways of the desert. This would be the largest string cut in their heart.
  174.
  175. Tokiwa and Rain. A beautiful couple about to be torn from this life and intandem their child's from theirs. It threw Kris into depression thinking about it.
  176.
  177. Dragmire. The most charismatic and wholehearted guy she'd meet yet. Always looking out and always looking forward to help build their home.
  178.
  179. It was all Osrona's fault.
  180.
  181. further and further, Kris would step away from the hostilities and away their time to disappear. She would do Tokiwa this favor and protect this child.
  182. (Krís)
  183. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  184.
  185. [20:40] Timothy Espaze whispers something.
  186. [20:40] Krís whispers: I love you all, Godspeed...
  187. [20:41] Mizuki Mora asks, "This is my first time seeing these people, what is the history here?"
  188. [20:41] Ka folded his arms, positioning himself purposefully on the stairs- magi could jump, but keeping his body in one of the exits they could use might be a good idea!
  189.
  190. And quietly he listened to all of their speeches, keeping the same smug smirk from always among his teen features, merely shaking his head from time to time.
  191.
  192. However, once ended, he'd address Asim, for now. "We told y'all to stop whatever y'all were doin' here, not my fault ye started a fight along with yer friend-" He pointed a single index finger towards Krís.
  193.
  194. "But I ain't a weaklin' like most of Osrona. Why do ye keep spreadin' lies about how we attacked ye? We sent demands- they didn't get complied with and we retaliated, and the ones who started the conflict that got ye maimed were no one but ye."
  195.
  196. A simple glance is given to Tokiwa's baby, shaking his head in disapproval... "Takin' a child to a desert, pfft... What a good mom." However, if Ka had to fight that tiny baby, he'd do it. He makes no distinction about who comes to him for a fight, be they woman, or old folks, or babies.
  197.
  198. Suddenly, he gets quiet, waiting for something useful to unfold from that entire situation, he isn't a great speaker anyway- the Essharian should let it to Alyssa and his brother.
  199. (Ka Parsi)
  200. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  201.
  202. [20:41] Caelus Lunaris says, "... Kelly it'd be heavy fines or jail in the worst case. It's not going to be something as brash as execution."
  203. [20:41] Mizuki Mora whispers something.
  204. [20:41] Kelly Kirk says, "I know they'll execute them..."
  205. [20:42] Mizuki Mora says, "This doesn't seem worthy enough to be executed."
  206. [20:42] Kelly Kirk says, "Oh,b ut to petty nobles and the Crown, it probably would."
  207. [20:42] Caelus Lunaris says, "Kelly, they're following a teen... I highly doubt it."
  208. [20:42] Timothy Espaze whispers something.
  209. [20:43] Timothy Espaze whispers something.
  210. [20:43] Timothy raises a hand to the side of his head and makes a circular gesture.
  211. (Timothy Espaze)
  212. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  213.
  214. [20:43] Mizuki Mora whispers something.
  215. [20:44] Timothy Espaze whispers something.
  216. [20:44] Each word is more and more shocking to hear than the former.
  217.
  218. They refuse to renounce their false king.
  219.
  220. They prefer to swear allegiance to a liar than to return to the path of light, to serve under the rightful queen of Esshar. Andromeda takes it as an insult personally to her. If only due to her family, and the fact that they served under the Queen directly. What type of a Grimmore would she be if she was to ignore these words?
  221.
  222. .. No, she couldn't.
  223.
  224. When someone shows you who they are - believe them. The saying was right. And this group has shown their true colors.
  225.
  226. "He has made his decision, can't you hear? Can't you hear what he's saying? Who he's siding with-- what he's choosing?" Appalled and disgusted by Rain's decision, the figure of the noble begins to shine as starlight cascades from the skies above, raining upon Andromeda.
  227.
  228. "Traitors. Heretics. All of you! You dare to point your sword at us?" The Grimmore's emerald-green stare drifted towards the other Multhunder, narrowing slightly. "If you won't answer Justice willingly, then you will be brought to it by force."
  229.
  230. It is not a threat, but a promise.
  231. (Andromeda ven Grimmore)
  232. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  233.
  234. [20:44] Kelly Kirk says, "This isn't justice."
  235. [20:44] Kelly Kirk says, "Some sheltered noblewoman like you wouldn't know the meaning of 'justice' if it slapped you upside the head."
  236. [20:45] Andromeda ven Grimmore says, "They are traitors to the crown! If you support such crime, you are no different."
  237. [20:46] If they honestly thought they would be instantly executed they were probably as foolish as she assumed they were for choosing to follow Dragmire in the first place.
  238.
  239. The three who chose to pose a united front were simply met with a nod, she didn't seem to be concerned with following Kris. There would be a time and place if that needed to happen, and she had priorities already.
  240.
  241. "Then before the eyes of multiple members of the Watch and nobility you have declared a false King your ruler instead of Queen Petrakis.
  242.
  243. I am forced to attempt to capture you by force then."
  244.
  245. Shadows exploded from her form to cloak her body even as a white mist rose from her. A glance spared to Kelly.
  246.
  247. "Interfere and you will be arrested for aiding them, Task will more than support my actions."
  248.
  249. Her feet slide into position as her breathing shifts to that of the Kageken, a raw sense of lethality radiating from her form as those afterimages formed behind her.
  250.
  251. With that..? She prepares to make her arrests.
  252. (Alyssa cos D'Arnette)
  253. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  254.
  255. [20:51] Krís whispers: I may...head to another village.
  256. [21:08] Kelly's chains begin to quiver at Andromeda's blatant indoctrination, the thought of someone blindly following someone else's lead and killing without conscience giving him a feeling of disgust. "I've seen actual murderers and occultists, noble. Bombings. Mind control. When you've actually experienced, heard of, and seen these things, your mind gets numb to just mere 'insults'. You'd be more worried about who gets bombed next, the attacks occuring just outside our borders on a daily basis, or a witch attacking within Osrona's walls, which mind you, did happen. Ever hear of Caritas? She used to lounge around in Sudbury, waiting for victims to ambush." Kelly sighs. "You clearly lack any actual experience in the world outside of the walls of whatever mansion or dwelling you live in."
  257.
  258. Kelly then allows for his two-layered shell of Earth and Metal to form around him, his chains remaining wrapped around him. "Oh, and Alyssa? Now that I do remember it, thanks to Caelus... This'll just reuslt in fines or imprisonment for a time. I'll still be having a word with Task, however. Also, do not mind the armor, I am not going to do something as stupid as attack Task or anyone else physically. It's required to use a technique that gives me increased speed. If you don't believe me, then observe my takeoff, or have my subordinate Caelus attest to it."
  259.
  260. Then, if no one else had any other words, Kelly demonstrates his techinque: He uses his bioelectricity to fully power the outer layer of conductive metal on his Earthen Shell, empowering him with a greater speed. He would then dash off, leaving behind a trail of static electricity.
  261. (Kelly Kirk)
  262. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  263.
  264. [21:12] Caelus Lunaris whispers something.
  265. [21:13] Mizuki Mora whispers something.
  266. [21:13] Mizuki Mora whispers something.
  267. [21:13] Caelus Lunaris whispers something.
  268. [21:13] A glance is taken at Kelly as he darts off the area, leaving a trail of electricity behind himself.
  269.
  270. A grin forms on the man's face as he spins his staff lightly on his hand, ignoring whatever insults and thoughts these people might have about him following Dragmire.
  271.
  272. "I don't care what he calls himself. He gained my respect and admritation, he gave me hope of making something of myself. I chose to follow him, and I would do so even if he wasn't a king."
  273.
  274. No more words are needed, his holy magic starts to spread on the sands they are standing on, light soon starting to fill the area to burn those who would be considered threats while water gathered around his body.
  275.
  276. He was readay to fight. His gaze setting on Alyssa who was definetly the strongest one in their group.
  277. (Rain Multhunder)
  278. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  279.
  280. [21:13] Caelus Lunaris whispers something.
  281. [21:13] Mizuki Mora whispers something.
  282. [21:27] Finally, they had settled on something. The whole situation was starting to eat off at Darius' patience, and he was the more patient of both brothers. With a flick of his wrist, however, the sandstorm begins to form, enveloping the nearby region carefully.
  283.
  284. "Crystal magic. Well." He commented, a brief glance of his yellow eyes regarding the male that stood in front of him. This time, he was here for an entirely different reason than before.
  285.
  286. This time, he was here for a different task; For the kingdom of Osrona, even if reluctantly, it was the way that he had chosen to allow his dominion to spread. First, by taking over their hearts, and then their deserts.
  287.
  288. The trident at his back was taken out, before the cacti nearby animated themselves, springing to life, a string enveloping the mythril weapon that he brandished.
  289.
  290. "I did tell you to leave, did I not? I told you that it'd be worse if you let it happen further- If you refused to." And to think he burned their camp, burying whatever couldn't be burned in sand, for nothing.
  291.
  292. The thorny vines danced around, scouting below the ground for a target. "You should have heard me out."
  293. (Darius Parsi)
  294. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  295.
  296. [21:29] Ishizu says, "Don't suck ass."
  297. [21:31] The lot of fights have begun. With no surprise the injured man has to fight another one of the Parsis. They people have started to become the bane of his existence. Everywhere he ends up or stays at for too long ends with them meeting. It doesn't help he lives above them.
  298.
  299. With a sigh, knowing that his defeat is assured. However he stands his ground without any fear in his eyes. His allies are fighting along side him but can they really hold off against this threat? If he happens to win or escape where can he go? Shavetia, Orsona, and Moonfall are all deathwishs. This is quite bad for him.
  300.
  301. A calming blue aura encases his body, slowly solidifying into small crystals. They fly around his body to act much like a shield.
  302.
  303. His sword it drawn shortly afterwards, he readies his stance. "I refuse to just back down. Even if it costs me my life. I won't be standing here readying myself to combat you if it was otherwise. This is going to be a complete stomp. I hope you understand why I did this. Now I have even more reason to not back down due to that other one of you..." A light anger is announced in his tone.
  304.
  305. "Regardless, lets get going!"
  306. (Asim)
  307. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  308.
  309. [21:51] The fight went on as the Parsi brother could pull it. Most of the strikes were retributed with buffets of sand, slapping against the sides of the fellow desert dweller. "Do you think this makes me happy?!" He yelled out at the empty deserts, the gnarly, thorny vines still dancing.
  310.
  311. They moved on to latch against every one of Asim's limbs, keeping him in place. "There are better ways than to simply make out these camps, and claim it is someone's own kingdom." Further, he locked entirely the man's body, causing him to stop from moving entirely; If that was not enough, every time he tried to move, the thorns would start digging in if only slightly.
  312.
  313. Nothing serious, but it hurt all the same- It was like being poked by multiple needles at his body. One hand waved around to gesture towards the desert. "Look at the wonders the desert holds to us- And you say that the fool's way is the correct one."
  314.
  315. To get caught like that. To get themselves exposed. The vines twisted slightly, causing brief cuts, but the dry husks soon enough cracked in certain pieces, the magic-inflicted cacti allowing the soothing fluid to seep through. He was a nature magi, after all.
  316.
  317. The constraint was still not pleasant at all, dragging him around like if there were four different people hoisting him around, one with each limb, as the to-be Sultan walked away. "We'll get you to the kingdom- I'd have a much better fate for you, but..."
  318.
  319. "I am not about to start another rebellion while Osrona is already tense with the witches."
  320. (Darius Parsi)
  321. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  322.
  323. [22:00] As expected he held no chance. The overall power difference was great. He knew just how to handle this combat with little to no effort. The novice magi that he had beaten to a pulp hadn't the faintest of ideas what to expect. A nature, sand magi... brutal.
  324.
  325. The unending whipping from the man caused minor wounds. It seems like the man was being benevolent to him. Well given the circumstances. "It doesn't make me happy I can tell you." He say when their was a small break in his attacks.
  326.
  327. While backing away, with blood oozing from the fresh cuts and the already untended wound on his person. He looked like he had been in Helheim and back and still is somehow walking. A feat itself. Its quite sad since this is only the beginning.
  328.
  329. "I understand that... I never have fully followed my liege's words. I only did what I thought was right at the time. I follow the strong, he was the strongest at the time. That I knew. That's how I lived mylife as a nomad." He admitted.
  330.
  331. "Truthfully if your brother didn't maim me this might have been different. That damned brat." He halts his words, having to focus on the assault from his opponent. Within seconds of his words coming to an abrupt stop he falls to his knees. He winces in pain, before he was locked into constraints, now being dragged around like a dead animal.
  332. (Asim)
  333. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  334.
  335. [22:01] Darius Parsi says, "We were nomads like you. This is the only reason I offer you respite- Because unlike Dragmire, you understand the desert's way."
  336. [22:03] Perhaps it was sickness, a cold at the worst of times. The holy magic searing her skin, thin layers of shadow warding off the worst of the damage but not keeping her in the fight.
  337.
  338. The shadow claws striking through the waters to lash out, blows were exchanged between the two. Though when the very area around you became your opponents weapon? What could one do?
  339.
  340. Especially when she wasn't as fast as usual.
  341.
  342. She didn't have time to dodge the beam of water that came to strike her center, not even a glancing blow, she was pushed backwards to strike the ground.
  343.
  344. She ducks into a roll and comes to her feet, the fight close enough where neither were severely injured but they were unable to truly capture the other.
  345.
  346. She stands, an expulsion of umbral energies blasting the moisture from her clothing as it scraped every bit of her gear.
  347.
  348. She had lost before, and she would lose again, such was the way of the world. Though that wouldn't stop her from returning, just two more crimes to add to the list.
  349.
  350. She fades into pure shadow as she slips away, she needed to see how the others had fared.
  351. (Alyssa cos D'Arnette)
  352. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  353.
  354. [22:08] Ka watched their whole fight, he wouldn't be seen cheering for anyone particularly, but seeing Alyssa losing could bring a bad outcome- although that means a chance for Ka to fight exists!
  355.
  356. Someone strong, even. A grin spreads across his face, adrenaline all bumping through his body, fighting below the sunlight would make him even stronger- mentally and perhaps physically.
  357.
  358. "Pfft. Ain't it weird? Fightin' a church guy 'cuz he defected, that ain't somethin' I'd expect..."
  359.
  360. The teenager draws his Ivory Staff, vile flames engulf him. "I'mma show ye the Sun's might. Exactly like I did to some of y'all, perish before the sunlight-"
  361.
  362. And, of course, if Ka is bestowed with a victory, that victory would be offered to the Sun- a wonderful offering, perhaps.
  363. (Ka Parsi)
  364. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  365.
  366. [22:15] Licking his lips, the man ignores how the woman dispersed int oshadows and fled the area. A wicked grin forms on his lips, his confidence now soaring to the skies. With that Knight out of the way, the other one's would fall like bowling pins.
  367.
  368. "Defecting a dying religion, if you can even call that defecting.
  369.
  370. Nevermind, I won't waste more words on you, you hurt my friends, and I'll hurt you. That's all."
  371.
  372. Once again, holy energy would begin to spread through the area, it's own light threatening to overshadow the Parsi's sun.
  373. (Rain Multhunder)
  374. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  375.
  376. [22:31] As his body got bombarded with the flames, the holy and water magic around his person were instinctively working towards healing the man's injuries each time a burn appeared on his flesh.
  377.
  378. Bearing through these flames, he used the fact that this kid would be feeling the same thing due to his holy magic as a consolation of sorts.
  379.
  380. As water emerged from the ground and air, flooding the area in a large wave towards the Parsi, it would clash with their fire, instantly creating a cloud of steam around the area.
  381.
  382. If the boy was smart, he would know what might come next, even so, he wasn't quick enough.
  383.
  384. The hooded figure forms from the mist beside them, their staff hitting their stomach before his hand shoots forward to grab their face and raise them in the air with the assitance of magic.
  385.
  386. As their fires would burn the former Deacon's body, holy magic would be channeled through his arm and into his hand, burning their face as they were held into the air.
  387.
  388. Eventually, the Parsi would be unable to resist or continuing fighting back.
  389.
  390. After that, the man let's go, and the boy's body falls to the ground, a burn mark, the result of the holy magic used in a point blank distance, having left the mark of his hand on their face.
  391. (Rain Multhunder)
  392. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  393.
  394. [22:40] Despite Ka's natural strength, his flames aren't on par with Rain's holy and water magic, everything he has done to Rain's body got healed- due to his lack of resistance, it'd be obvious who of either would fall first.
  395.
  396. However, Ka would be lucky if the fight had ended due to his exhaustion and not because his face got injured. Once his opponent channeled holy magic through his whole arm until his hand, he held Ka, and once the younger Parsi sibling got in contact with that magic, the outcome couldn't be different: an injury, a burn injury that was stronger than his own fire.
  397.
  398. Then- unable to resist, he'd fall on the ground, limp and half-unconscious, at Rain's mercy, although he's prone to escape if any of the crowd assists him.
  399.
  400. No pain scream would be blurted out, but the way his body is slowly writhing it's easy to notice how painful what Rain did is. One of Ka's hands would rub his face, groaning lowly- something barely audible to even Rain.
  401. (Ka Parsi)
  402. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  403.
  404. [22:46] Walking closer to the fight, however, he was met with the most disgraceful of views. Failure, not only by someone he did not know yet, but by his own brother. Yellow eyes widened, and he stared off towards the aftermath of the battle.
  405.
  406. His fingers clenched together into a fist, and it was obvious, perhaps more to others than to Rain, that it did not please the older brother to see his smaller one hurt in such a way. A brief glance was thrown to others, as the dried out vines still danced with Asim's conscious body.
  407.
  408. They squeezed around the man's limbs, a pain only obvious to Asim himself, but the strain upon the plants was obvious. They were on the verge of cracking, and the way the thorns moved around, it was obvious that it was in a not-so-pleasant way.
  409.
  410. Yet, he stared at the others, as if to seek confirmation for one small thing, muttered within the scowling expression of the prideful desert warrior- A chink driven into it.
  411.
  412. "Are we doing a trade, or is anyone willing to go there and fight him?"
  413.
  414. It was obvious that, at least, Darius knew how to recognize one thing; He didn't have a chance here.
  415. (Darius Parsi)
  416. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  417.
  418. [22:52] "I ain't willin' T'fight Rain without bein' paid fer the task." Timothy would say, his tone utterly matter of fact. "And between you and me, Y'could spend your money in better ways than by giving it T'me t'get my ass kicked by Rain."
  419.
  420. Besides, The wizard might be a Petrakis loyalist, but so far the desert folk were just harmless eccentrics as far as he could tell. Or at the very least, followers of one.
  421. (Timothy Espaze)
  422. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  423.
  424. [22:52] The captured nomad is firmly place in the dense vines the man had placed him in. His muscles and bones writhing in pain as they tense up. The bone structure within his being on the verge of being snapped. Many painful grunts come from the man. However he is able to keep anything further under wraps.
  425.
  426. The event taking place before him... watching Rain take each one of the foes easily. Damn... if only Asim could do that too. He thinks to himself.
  427. (Asim)
  428. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  429.
  430. [22:52] Andromeda arrives shortly after her battle versus Tokiwa, slightly wore down by it-- but clearly with her mind set on a goal.
  431.
  432. She refused to fail.
  433.
  434. To fail her city, to fail the watch, and most importantly... To fail her House. She watches with a keen interest as Rain battles Ka Parsi, as the man's holy magic manages to defeat the younger boy's flames-- as he fails, and Rain succeeds.
  435.
  436. It is yet another insult in a series of them, is it not?
  437.
  438. "Let him go, traitor."
  439.
  440. The same ethereal, misty fog began to flow around the noble's being, surrounding Andromeda completely.
  441. "Let him go! Now!" It explodes from the woman's core-- mana engulfing her entirely. "How dare you treat him that way and then speak of how cruel our city is? Of how we are merciless?!"
  442.
  443. The ruby gem at the tip of her staff glows brightly, a scarlet light emitting from it.
  444.
  445. "You... You're making it all worse. For all of you!"
  446.
  447. Unless stopped, the Grimmore intended to meet Rain in the middle of the same battlefield-- with the sole intention of freeing the captive he held.
  448. (Andromeda ven Grimmore)
  449. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  450.
  451. [22:56] There's a slow purse to his lips as the Lunaris watches it all. A hefty battle held between the Constabulary and nomads - What was he to feel during such an onslaught? It didn't feel right on one hand, but on the other they'd made their decision to go against the demands willingly.
  452.
  453. So be it.
  454.
  455. Steely-blues shift towards the one victor of this nomadic band; A cloaked deacon of what was said to be a dying religion... With a captive. His eyes narrow for a moment as he takes a step forward, eyeing the noble that had recently joined them.
  456.
  457. "If not a trade then I'd be willing to step in."
  458.
  459. With his arms collected in the small of his back those digits of his tap at his elbows. His gaze looks towards those that had finished their battles--
  460.
  461. "Resisting arrest only adds onto the jail sentence-- The fine, even, that may be passed to them." Spoken calmly, the ethereal haze of mana beginning to ooze from his form in brief little puffs of mist. Yet, those flecks of stardust remain true as they cascade down his shoulders as the better of two options is posed.
  462.
  463. "I'd take the trade. No one else has to get harmed further from here-- For the both of us." Yet, the Grimmore still rushed forth!.. The Lunaris grumbling under his breath as he prepares to spring into action. He couldn't just let a teen rush in there like that...
  464. (Caelus Lunaris)
  465. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  466.
  467. [23:00] Someone took the forefront. Someone who was, likely, stronger than Darius. It seemed to conflict the older male, but still, that was just the push that he needed. His worrisome expression was soon replaced with a large enough grin.
  468.
  469. If someone was going for it, then he would as well- The one imprisoned was soon enough moved to the side, closer to Caelus, and the dreary vines pulled him down, causing his back to collapse against the grass. Talk about handling it poorly.
  470.
  471. If there was a chance for a prisoner trade, it was resting in Caelus' hand now. If there was a chance to fight, however, Darius would soon enough dash forth, dried vines rushing to his aid to surround the arena for Rain.
  472.
  473. Of course, in all honorable manners- Fighting more than one against the same person was just clearly dishonorable.
  474. (Darius Parsi)
  475. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  476.
  477. [23:05] A glance is taken to the side, the man's eyes narrowing as his right foot came to rest on top of the defeated Parsi, to keep them there so they couldn't run away.
  478.
  479. His eyes eventually fall on Asim who had been captured, the sight making the corners of his lips curl down, but he still felt a sense of relief when the Grimmore showed up, without Tokiwa.
  480.
  481. He can't put into words how much relief that gave him, but the figh wasn't over, so he couldn't relax just yet.
  482.
  483. The yell is the first thing which attracts his attention, his mind inadvertently ignoring Caelus words due to the aggressiviness of the noble girl.
  484.
  485. The hooded figures breathing is heavy, and his words start out low.
  486.
  487. "They injure my friends... you come to arrest us despite how we haven't really done anything significant... I won't even comment on past misdeeds...
  488.
  489. Still...
  490.
  491. YOU DARE CALL ME A TRAITOR?!?! YOU DARE TO TRY AND TAKE THE MORAL HIGH GROUND AND CALL ME THE CRUEL, MERCILESS ONE?!?!"
  492.
  493. In the depths of his heart, a fierceness incomparable to everything the man had ever felt before flared up, his surroundings getting filled with holy magic and making the atmosphere heavy, the ground bellow him shaking ever so slightly and starting to crack.
  494.
  495. Indignation burns deeply inside his heart.
  496.
  497. "I... I loved Osrona... but they too my friends... it abandoned me, just like they abandoned the Faith... just like every other Clergy member did until only I was left."
  498.
  499. His mind wasn't already in the right place by this point.
  500.
  501. "IF I'M LIKE THIS, THEN IT'S BECAUSE OSRONA MADE ME THIS WAY!!!"
  502.
  503. His holy magic seems to shine brighter than evern, the expectatives placed on him as the strongest Magi following Dragmire weighting heavily on his shoulders.
  504.
  505. Diplomacy had been thrown out of the window for the moment, he much would've liked to do a trade, but the woman pushed the wrong buttons.
  506. (Rain Multhunder)
  507. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  508.
  509. [23:09] pursue attempt!
  510. (Andromeda ven Grimmore)
  511. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  512.
  513. [23:09] (Pursue RP)
  514. (Darius Parsi)
  515. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  516.
  517. [23:09] Well, with the negotiations set aside the constable draws in a slow breath before rushing forth!
  518. (Caelus Lunaris)
  519. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  520.
  521. [23:10] Demonstrates his fancy footwork.
  522. (Timothy Espaze)
  523. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  524.
  525. [23:10] .
  526. (Alyssa cos D'Arnette)
  527. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  528.
  529. [23:10] just... just another test
  530. (Caelus Lunaris)
  531. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  532.
  533. [23:20] Water would flood around his person, some of it around Ka as well, making sure he was kept in place as the girl charged forward.
  534.
  535. The sound of mythril weapons resounded through the area, a burst of energy would send a wave of water around the area due to how powerful their clash was, one could feel the former Deacon's intensity for his fierce aura that radiated aggression.
  536.
  537. Pushing her back for a moment, he jumped towards her.
  538.
  539. Though she would be able to get a few good hits in, it still wasn't enough to stop this man and as he closed the distance, his hand shot forwards to grab her staff, forcing her to be held in place for a brief moment.
  540.
  541. His free hand shot forward, slamming it's palm on their stomach and shooting pressurized water, pushing her back towards the other spectators. He had let go of her staff when she was pushed back so she would still have it.
  542.
  543. Exhaustion was starting to fill his sore body, but he continued to move.
  544.
  545. "I'll get you Asim, even if I have to knock all these people down!"
  546.
  547. He walks back to Ka's side, the butt of his staff slamming into the ground.
  548.
  549. "How's it gonna be? Who's next?!"
  550. (Rain Multhunder)
  551. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  552.
  553. [23:26] Louis says, "hey class what's going onn--"
  554. [23:32] Their staves sing as metal crashes upon metal. Each time their weapons meet, waves of holy and cosmic magic shoot outwards into the immediate vicinity of them both.
  555.
  556. The water throws Andromeda off balance more often than she expects, and even as gravity itself seems to work against the Multhunder - he overpowers the magic. Where Andromeda lacked experience, Rain was full of it. He was trained, he knew his magic through and through-- the opposite of this Grimmore.
  557.
  558. She was a prisoner of her heart, too passionate to not allow her feelings to get the best of her. Andromeda lashed out when she shouldn't have. She fought a fight she wasn't ready to consider.
  559.
  560. She's sent back by Rain's final blow, her staff used to soften her crash and the speed in which she was thrown away.
  561.
  562. "..Don't risk another life," Despite the loss, she's able to give an order. "Trade them. Give him his friend back- so your brother isn't harmed anymore."
  563. (Andromeda ven Grimmore)
  564. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  565.
  566. [23:33] Well, there was it. The one person who could have turned it around, yet- She was not able to beat him, and the very moment she lost, Darius acted. There was no time to wait for orders or for feedback. The vines came closer to him, dragging Asim through the desert's wasteland quickly, a brief blur until it was the only thing present in the Multhunder's field of view.
  567.
  568. "This will hurt." Perhaps a brief warning.
  569.
  570. Limbs were outstretched, even if the needles were still kept at bay. It was obvious that what he meant was to make a threat of sorts, and his voice boomed out from behind the prisoner.
  571.
  572. "Give me back my brother."
  573.
  574. "And you can have yours."
  575.
  576. Of course, however, the intention from Darius was not just to offer the trade, but rather force it.
  577. (Darius Parsi)
  578. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  579.
  580. [23:37] Yet, the swordsman was too slow! With an annoyed little click of his tongue he bares witness as the teen is shot back towards them with a jet of water. Stars, today just wasn't his day speed wise now was it?
  581.
  582. Ever the calm, ever the collected, Caelus's arms remain in the small of his back. There's a slow blink at what the Grimmore says - He truly should've spoke sooner so she didn't rush in!
  583.
  584. "No more have to be harmed from here on out. Let's end this simply and easily... For the both of us."
  585.
  586. With Darius speaking the terms the Lunaris simply remained silent. It was an outcome he preferred when it came down this thin to the wire.
  587. (Caelus Lunaris)
  588. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  589.
  590. [23:41] Asim was getting slung around as if he was a toy. His captor was exceedingly careless. Once he got in view of Rain he was warned of something. He quickly expects pain. With all the suffering he had endured as of late he loosened his muscles.
  591.
  592. Not long afterwards his limbs were stretched. Popping from his joints can be heard from the movement. The cauterized wounds from the scorches that Ka had inflicted a while back open up. Blood pour out from the left side of the magi.
  593.
  594. "Aaaaah!" He screamed out in pain. Even with his lackluster preparations he wasn't able to handle what was thrown at him. He just hoped his suffering would end soon. Fuck everyone from Orsona… My Helheim take them and feast on them for all he cares.
  595. (Asim)
  596. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  597.
  598. [23:44] His eyes focus on Asim as he's dragged into the scene, complete focus on the vines around their body and thoughts on how he should do this.
  599.
  600. His eyes fall on Caelus for a moment, an indecipherable soft smile forming on his face as he heard the threats and how they should just stop here.
  601.
  602. "Alright... throw Asim towards me, and then I'll throw your brother to you."
  603.
  604. Putting his right hand over his chest and raising his left hand, index finger pointing to the starry sky, he declares.
  605.
  606. "I swear on the Stars above.
  607.
  608. If you do that, I'll return your brother to you without further harm, so long you deliberately don't hurt my friend further."
  609.
  610. His right hand then pulls out a pendant which was around his neck, revealing the Sigil of the Star of Iberl.
  611.
  612. "You definetly know I was previously from the Clergy, and for that I will honor my word."
  613.
  614. The water around Ka dispersesand the man picks them up, holding them under their arm for the moment and waiting for their answer. To be honest, he didn't really trust them.
  615.
  616. (Rain Multhunder)
  617. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  618.
  619. [23:46] Yet again, the brief respite was given- The joints popped back into place, the dried vines cracking in his sight and giving some of their nutritious sap to once again attempt to soothe the pain; As much as a nature magi could do to these makeshift wounds.
  620.
  621. Darius did not trust him either. They were at a standstill, yellow irises staring forth for a couple more moments, before he took a deep breath. His voice was, for once, low.
  622.
  623. "Very well."
  624.
  625. The vines loosened, gently laying him down to the ground and carrying Asim towards Rain, and still waiting for something more right by it- They waited until Ka was put down to the ground, to get pulled back.
  626.
  627. He was unhappy with this ending, to say the least.
  628. (Darius Parsi)
  629. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  630.
  631. [23:53] Walking forward towards the vines, once he reached their side, the man put Ka on the ground once Asim got close enough, he immediately grabbed his friend, and gave a large jump backwards.
  632.
  633. With his friend over his shoulder, he looks around, not seeing Tokiwa yet... he wanted to leave, but a few last words were probably needed.
  634.
  635. "You could've just left us alone... we hadn't harmed anyone... yet you did this..."
  636.
  637. Regret, and sorrow take over his spirit even if he feels justified by his actions. His sorrow was palpable in the air. Those who had gotten a glimpse of the man's personality knew that he was a very sympathetic person.
  638.
