- Description: Rhonda was driving home when her car broke down. Harlan stopped and r*ped her for two hours, before Jaquie came across their vehicles and let Rhonda, who was running towards her vehicle, jump inside. She took off, and Harlan followed her, shooting at her when he caught up. He continued to fire as Jaquie approached a police station, hitting Jaquie’s mouth, knee, and spine, paralyzing her. She watched as Harlan dragged Rhonda out of the car, saying, “You thought you were going to get away.” Rhonda’s body was found nearly a week later. She died from dozens of heavy blows and two gunshots.
