Things to download and install

1. Minecraft
https://minecraft.net/en-us/download/

2. Twitch Desktop App
https://app.twitch.tv/download

At the top of the Twitch Desktop app, click MODS
Click MINECRAFT
Click BROWSE ALL MODPACKS
Search for: FTB Continuum

and you will see FTB Continuum with the purple moon logo

3. Click the purple INSTALL button

4. Click the purple drown down arrow where the play button is, and click VIEW PROFILE
In the top right is a " ... " button (to the right of "Get More Content") Click the " ... " and click PROFILE OPTIONS

UNCHECK "Use System Setting"

Drag the slider for the RAM to use... 8GB (which is also 8,000MB)

Click the purple OK button

5. Click the purple PLAY button to run the launcher
The minecraft launcher will appear
There should be a green PLAY button that says FTB Continuum in small white text

Click PLAY

7. Time to download a texture pack...

8. Once the game is launched click OPTIONS

9. Click RESOURCE PACKS...

10. Click OPEN RESOURCE PACK FOLDER
Take the ZIP file you downloaded in step 7, and move it to this folder. DO NOT UNZIP IT.

11. Enable the resource pack...
(you may have to go back a menu to refresh the resource pack list)

Click on the resource pack name in the left table AVAILABLE RESOURCE PACKS... when you click it - it should move to the right table SELECTED RESOURCE PACKS.
Click DONE -- this will take a minute to save. It's not freezing just let it finish don't touch it!

12. Click DONE again to go back to the main menu... then click MULTIPLAYER
This is where you will add the server IP address to connect to the game. Ask me for the IP address and enter it here, then you can connect to the server and play!
