       ○ a total fluff ball, who is constantly bouncing off the walls. choi soyoung is a total sweetheart with too much sugar in her system. she's super touchy and just overall cute. the girl does tons of skinship throughout the day, with anyone she's close to (or even just knows the name of). she may not be the youngest, but she could easily be mistaken as so. she's very friendly and will talk to anyone with the sweetest voice. though, beware, this girl is constantly hyper and just doesn't stop. she isn't a troublemaker or anything, quite the opposite. she loves to make the other members happy and just seeing them smile makes her day. she's really innocent and can be rather naive at times. but, it just adds to her charm. it's still surprising to some members that she's actually in the unit and is good at it. she's just so pure and sweet. it's hard not to coo at her. she even helps with taking care of the members and other simple tasks. soyoung loves to eat and it isn't surprising to see her with some kind of snack. however, she is willing to share and probably has a whole list of recommended things for each girl. it's often part of her day to see the girls eat something new or just sweet. it's common for one of the girls to reply with it being 'as sweet as her'.

       ○ she's surprisingly very on task, unlike normal. extremely focused on getting the job done. she honestly has a lot of fun on the job, mainly when with her teammates. even if she's not right with them she likes to do her best to try and 'make them proud' or impress them. she always uses her skills to her best ability and doesn't ever let her guard down until the mission is over. when it comes to planning she usually listens to what others say, but if she sees a way she can be helpful she'll put in her thoughts. she just gets a certain adrenaline rush while on missions, which isn't surprising due to her hyper nature. she often talks in a soft voice, if not a whisper, to avoid any mishappenings and keep things going smoothly. truthfully, it's quite amazing how capable she is while on a mission. compared to her usual self, she definitely has a more professional side.

✘ | BACKGROUND: there wasn't anything spectacular about choi soyoung's life. she grew up in a pretty normal household, she had two loving parents and a great older sister. she was born in incheon, but later when she was three they moved to busan. she loved it in busan, it was just a great environment to her. she was a lively and friendly child, she made friends easily and was a great playmate. however, soyoung and her sister were always close. she was actually inspired by her sister to take up hapkido, something she herself had taken already. she surprisingly loved it and continued her studies as time went by. actually, one of her favorite thing to do at home was to continue to practice. of course, her sister also specializing in hapkido would often join her. there's probably different home videos of the two playing around while soyoung showed off her skills. however, one day the two were messing around and soyoung had made a mistake. when the phone started ringing and her sister turned away it was in that same moment soyoung was delivering a rather hard kick for her sister. the kick went straight to her back and she collapsed almost instantly. her parents weren't even home, it was just soyoung and her unconscious sister. one ambulance trip and a phone call later, soyoung was sitting with her parents in tears waiting for the news of what exactly she had done. it was eventually announced that she had paralyzed her sister from her brutal kick. of course, they said that they would perform surgery and all the other stuff. though, it was all a waste in the end. her sister was permanently paralyzed and it was all her fault. she became riddled with guilt and grief just from her own thoughts. her parents were very passive about the whole thing. she tried to explain it to her best ability and even apologized multiple times throughout the retelling. just anyone facing this situation wouldn't be happy and she knew this. it was hard for her to sit at the dinner table, her sister's chair empty, quietness suffocating her, and her parents not even bothering to look at her. losing your first child is difficult and knowing it was the fault of your second one, it was troubling. she went so many sleepless nights, some being from her parents talking about her a little too loud or just the pure feeling of guilt keeping her up. it was one of those nights she took it upon herself to take her leave. which lead to where she is now. the agency was her escape, chance of a redo. she vowed to herself that she would no longer think about the sorrows she's caused in her first life, she did enough damage. she wants to forget it happened, as selfish as it is. she has to look out for herself too. besides, agents shouldn't worry about their past anyway, right?

     ➡ she's really down for a little bit of everything, but really enjoys the rush of close combat. she uses the brass knuckle knife, a. because it looks cool, b. it adds an extra hit with her punches, and c. due to its easy access and easy use. though, she resorts to guns if necessary. she's trained in hapkido, and often uses it to her advantage. it's good for both long and close range attacks. it includes footwork, hand strikes, and kicks to keep distance. but also uses pressure points and different locks too.

       ○ she's very good with breath control and sensing when enemies are nearby. this make's her very good at sneaking around and using her pressure point skills to make threats unconscious.

     ➡ "probably guts mainly. if you don't have the courage to do it, then you probably won't and then you've failed. skill is important too, but you really have to have the backbone to use your said skill. you also have to put all your focus in it. you can't be thinking about what the dinner plans are, you have to stay on task and do your absolute best."

     ➡ "i'd probably take a look around the room first and make sure there's a clear way out. then i would remove their gag, after making sure they would keep quiet. next, i would check to see if they had any severe injuries, to figure out how quick i'd need to be. if they weren't badly injured i wouldn't rush as much, but if they were i'd adjust my speed. i would also ask if they knew anything or an easier way out. if it was all clear for me to unchain them, i would examine the cuffs and more than likely pick the lock, if possible."

       ○  he mainly noticed the focused expression she had on the whole time (though she had a cute look of confusion at one point). but, he kept coming back to the thought that this small, unintimidating girl (helped) saved them. which earned her some respect from him. from her team he saw she wasn't as important as some, but she still had an input and was vital.

       ○ she was kinda confused and at a loss of words just from who he was. she was also in awe because he seemed really cool and just super skilled. after rescuing them she felt proud because of just the skill level they have and that THEY saved THEM. #girlpower, but not really because she felt really intimidated by him.

✘ | HOW DOES SHE ACT AROUND HIM:
     ➡ BEGINNING
       ○ soyoung isn't someone to be cold or standoffish, but that doesn't mean she's quite ready to greet him with a hug and tell him about her entire life. to put it simply, she's just polite. she can't help but feel somewhat skeptical, but she surely isn't going to be rude. it's a waste of air in her opinion. therefore, she's still going to be nice to him and offer a smile.

       ○ it's not hard for soyoung to become close with anyone, and despite their rough start, he's no exception. she can easily start a conversation with him and keep it going. her sweet and cute personality had surely come into full view and it's not like that's a problem. she just feels more comfortable with him and basically treats how she would a member. maybe a tiny bit sweeter just from how close they've grown.

       ○ super sweet, like sweeter than a spoon of sugar. she initiates skinship like a pro, she knows exactly what snack he should eat depending on his mood, she can tell when he just needs to talk. goes to him before the girls often, which is shocking. just overall is very comfortable and close to him and really enjoys his presence.

       ○ with the circumstances, he doesn't actually know how to act. which results with him being awkward. he can't just push her off, but he can't be buddy-buddy with her. she was nothing but nice to him, but it was hard for him to decide how to respond and it just turns weird. there was a lot of neck scratching and angry mumbles towards himself when she was gone.

       ○ he's definitely more open and chill with her than before. actually, gets along well with her. lowkey protective of her, but more in a way that 'she could get hurt if you breathe on her wrong so don't'. other than that, just his dorky self. she probably couldn't count the number of goofy faces he's made at her.

       ○ a little awkward here and there, from not knowing how to make advances. but, has a full understanding of soyoung and just is really close to her. he can joke with her, but also talk more seriously when needed. hangs around her and just has fun. he can be really cuddly around her or a total weirdo, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference.

       ○ really awkward, soyoung usually isn't awkward but jungkook is just something else. so it's kinda hard for their friendship to get a move on and it's just a weird time. though most of the awkwardness is jungkook's fault and it just took a toll on soyoung.

       ○ they've finally broken free of that horrid awkwardness that they would talk to the others about. their friendship has blossomed and the youngsters are great together. like to poke at each other often (verbally and physically) and just have a good time together. they surprising make a good team on missions too.

       ○ a low-key relationship, like it's not actually official just everyone knows they're too infatuated with each other to not feel that way. they could get together at the end, but until that possible point, they would just be like touchy and romantic best friends (i would say flirty but soyoung probably doesn't even know how to flirt).

     ➡ GROUP
       ○ during some combat, it's just wild and everyone's doing their thing. while soyoung thinks she's doing her thing she accidentally mistakes on of the boys as an enemy and goes to do some hapkido shit on him, but then they turn and catch her and she ends the injured one (but not severely or anything, hopefully). later after the mission is over, she's just really sheepish and feels guilty about nearly attacking one of the guys.

     ➡ LOVE INTEREST
       ○ soyoung being the curious girl she is, asked him about being blind without thinking it would bother him. however, he decides to tell her. they just kinda sit together, while he just traces her scar and tells her in a soft voice.
       ○ them working out together, but soyoung can't keep up and ends up sitting on the sidelines just in awe. like she knows mirae works out a lot, but she's never had the patience to stay with her for the whole period. so seeing him just go at it is super fucking crazy for her.
       ○ pressure point battle. basically, just the two taking jabs at each other, but he eventually gives in and let's her have victory. then afterward soyoung expresses how on edge she was about it and ends up spilling about her sister.
