Speedplans/Fighting Game update

--Current Speedplans--

The next week or 2:
Going to try a couple of Xenoblade Chronicles runs, although its kind of hard to get the time at the moment. Also continuing to work on setups for Ship Grapple Skip in prime 3. I'll continue to do strider runs of various categories now and then, and I'll spend a day derusting and practicing Ty 2 at some point soon.
However, since ESA this year is only 1 stream, I'm going to be focusing more on XC and Strider All Bosses over everything else, since I would prefer to get those runs shown.
Goal times are sub-6:10 for Xenoblade, Sub-1:05 in Strider All Bosses, Finish a run with SGS in MP3, and get sub-1:45 in Ty 2. These goals are for the start of May, when ESA second cut deadline kicks in, and then I'll probably take a couple of weeks off from serious speedrunning to focus on my Dissertation and Exams for my final year of Uni.
I finish uni on the 16th of May (Monday) and after that I'll probably be streaming a pretty decent amount, although it might take me a while to work out what I want to focus on. The first couple of weeks or so will probably be random stuff until ESA second cuts/schedule happens (29th May), but then I'll obviously focus on those runs that make it though over others, but I do have an idea of what other runs I could start working on in that period.
This does include getting back into the FF13 trilogy for a trilogy race that is eventually going to happen, as well as the completion category for LR, and some other stuff which I won't announce just yet. I may also return to Tales of Zestiria and get a much better run done, limiting factor on that recently has been the time commitment. I also want to learn MP2 at some point, which is something I've been meaning to do.

Also, I've been playing a lot of casual games in the last ~9 months or so, and I'm now getting to the point where I'm finishing up a fair amount of them, so I'll be looking into some new runs to do at some point. Most likely these will be over the summer or possibly even before ESA depending on how stuff works out.

I should be pretty free to stream a decent amount up until ESA, but currently I have no idea what I'm going to be doing after then, it all depends on how uni goes and what options I have available.



--Fighting Games--
On a side note, I went to Hypespotting V last weekend and had a lot of fun. Not only that, but I have a much clearer idea of where I want to go with fighting games currently.
Main game is going to keep being Guilty Gear XRD. Sign for now, and Revelator when it comes out in Europe (June 10th). Sticking with Bedman most likely, but I'm interested in putting a decent amount of time into the new characters when Rev comes around.
Blazblue Chronphantasma I'll keep playing for fun, mainly want to mess around with more characters in that game instead of taking it that seriously, but once Central Fiction comes around I really want to pick it up properly and main Celica.
Uniel/P4AU are both getting put on the backburner a bit. They're pretty fun to play, but I don't want to take either of them seriously at the moment, and even if I did, there aren't that many people playing either game so I'm not feeling like I want to improve.
Nitroplus Blasterz is super fun, but there doesn't seem to be many people playing it atm, so I'll probably get more serious if it picks up, and otherwise just mess around with it some more.
I want to get into Skullgirls a bit more seriously, but I have no idea what team I want to go for at the moment so I need to spend more time with each character and work it out.
Pokken is still a lot of fun, I need to work on better combos and setups though, and I'll just continue playing this game for now since netplay is good and active. I want to see the competitive crowd for this game grow for sure, so if I find events holding it I might go to support the scene.
I got Street Fighter V, and right now still trying to settle on a character, probably won't take it that seriously, but its a popular game and so it's nice to have something that a lot of people will play for when it comes to events and stuff.
Killer Instinct is the final game in this list. Picked it up recently and currently playing around with Saberwulf (the current free character) and Shago, trying to get a better feel for the system and working out if I want to buy the full roster, or just stick with a couple of specific characters.

Also I might start streaming some more fighting game stuff, since my time will shift more towards that as I have less casual games to get through, but I'm not that sure if people are really interested in me doing any of that. Maybe I'll just try it out and see how it goes, but don't worry, my main stream focus will still be speedrunning for a while at least. I'm not in the right kind of place mentally to want to take Fighting Games over speedrunning as my main focus.
