  5. Thanks for being a user of Supertopia TeamSpeak! Here you will find information about the server. Enjoy!

  7. Rules:
  8. ~ You can join the channel of a game you're not playing under the Conversation Rights Act, but not if it's empty.
  9. ~ The administrative hierarchy directly relates to that of Supertopia.
  10. ~ Go into the AFK channel if you leave. It is advised that you mute your speakers.
  11. ~ Supertopia TeamSpeak is public, so guests are allowed in. If they annoy you, mute them. If they break any rules mentioned here, submit a complaint on them. Members: If a guest causes a large problem, feel free to contact me immediately.
  12. ~ If a guest can can identify themselves as somebody in Supertopia, they will be promoted to member.
  13. ~ Members are allowed to have extra identities in use. These extra identities will be marked with a special group. This group has slightly fewer permissions. Each member may have a maximum of 2 extra identities. Guests are not allowed to join with multiple identities. If more than one connection exists from the same IP, you may be questioned by server staff.
  14. ~ Do not use foul language in your nickname, phonetic name, away message, channel names, or your description.
  15. ~ Offensive, obscene, or profane avatars will be removed immediately.
  16. ~ Although cursing is not encouraged, it is allowed. However, you may not curse excessively. Staff should be more lenient on soundboard tracks (Still Do Not Play: "Can You Quack" or South Park. Expect this to be updated.)
  17. ~ Just to be clear, you can not curse in: Channel chat, server chat, your name or phonetic name, away message, description, avatar, or a channel name. (So, basically anything involving text.) Thanks!
  18. ~ Complaining about a user by right-clicking them is allowed if a valid reason is stated. Do not complain to server staff.
  19. ~ You are allowed to use a TeamSpeak Soundboard plugin if you enable ducking and set it to 15% or lower.
  20. ~ You can whisper, but never whisper to the entire server or any channel where speaking is disabled, or you will lose all whisper power. This power is for admins only. You also can not whisper to or from any channel located above the talking label.
  21. ~ No clients of any rank are permitted tell another user to commit bodily harm to themselves. This means that telling someone to commit suicide, jump off a bridge, or similar will earn you an instant ban. Thank you for respecting other users.
  22. ~ No bickering amongst each other, especially if it is annoying others. If you want to have a conflict, go into a private channel. If it is annoying people, you may be muted or get a strike.
  23. ~ Users are held responsible for knowing the current rules listed in this document. By clicking the OK button when they enter the server, they agree that they will be held responsible for following rules listed in this document. At any time this is updated, a message will be sent into server chat saying so.
  24. ~ To join Supertopia TeamSpeak, the identity you are trying to join with must have a security level of 28 or higher. This can be increased by going to Settings > Identities > Improve. This process will take about 20 minutes.
  25. ~ All instructions made by server staff are to be followed. Rules or instructions written here supersede those by server administrators, moderators, and developers (See Section 1 of the Mini-Constitution). Instructions by administrators supersede those by moderators and developers. Similarly, instructions by moderators supersede those by developers.
  26. ~ Important server messages will be sent into server chat in groups of three. You can use this to tell by the notification if it is important.
  27. ~ The server has a bot to help keep the server running smoothly. This bot will move you into the AFK channel if you mute your microphone, mute your speakers, start recording without permission, or set yourself to away. It will kick you from the server and give you one strike if you have curse words in your nickname, or if you create a channel with a curse word in the title. It will also delete the channel. If you set anything text related to something that is clearly cursing, but is not picked up by the bot, the bot rules will be modified and you will be kicked. If you intentionally modify a curse word so that it will bypass a bot curse rule, you will be instantly temporarily banned for longer than the usual punishment.
  28. ~ If you use the TeamSpeak client to record without permission, it will move you to AFK and give you a strike. Permission can be granted by a moderator or higher. Recording is allowed in AFK without permission. Recording is allowed in Conference Room if done through TeamSpeak integrated recording. If you record TeamSpeak audio from an external program/device, please get permission anyway so you have "Recording" by your name. If you externally record TeamSpeak audio without permission, you will be temporarily banned because this against the law in the United States.
  29. ~ You get strikes for breaking rules. Strikes are given by server staff, the bot, or a user submitting a complaint about you. If you get too many strikes, you will be banned for one hour. Over time, the strikes do dissipate.
  30. ~ Every time any client joins Supertopia TeamSpeak, 1 point is added to their connections score. You can view anybody's connection score by clicking on their name and hovering the mouse over their online time, displayed in the right pane. With each tier, you will move up in the list of clients and get a shiny medal by your name. If you connect 250 times, you will be awarded a bronze medal. With a bronze medal, you have the ability to set your own description and join password-protected channels without the password. At 500 connections, you will be awarded a silver medal. With this, you get all of the bronze benefits plus the ability to create temporary channels with a delete delay of up to 18 hours. At 750 connections, you are awarded a gold medal. This will get you all of the silver and bronze benefits in addition to the ability to create semi-permanent channels (which have a delete delay of 36 hours!). At 1000 connections, you will receive a golden star which gives you all of the benefits of the other medals and grants you the power to create 1 permanent channel. If any client repeatedly leaves and rejoins to gain connections, they will be blocked by the anti-flood system. If continued, they may be permanently ineligible for receiving any connection awards.

  32. Mini-Constitution:
  33. ~ §1 ~ This rules and info page, and the rules of Supertopia TeamSpeak which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all agreements made, or which shall be made, under the authority of a Supertopia TeamSpeak administrator, shall be the supreme law of the server; and the server staff in every channel shall be bound thereby, anything in the rules of any channel or staff member to the contrary notwithstanding.
  34. ~ §2 ~ Server staff shall make no rule respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the peaceful exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble in the Conference Room, and to petition the administrators for a redress of grievances.
  35. ~ §3 ~ No user shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Supertopia administrator, except in cases arising in the passive or aggressive administration and security forces, when in actual service in time of emergency or server-wide danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of power or access to the server; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of access, power, or liberty, without due process of law, except in cases arising as the result of blatant disregard of any rules established; nor shall private assets be taken for public use, without explicit permission.
  36. ~ §4 ~ In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a public trial if requested, by a jury of all willing staff and and staff present in the channel wherein the crime shall have been committed, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; and to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor.
  37. ~ §5 ~ Negative discrimination or harassment based on race, gender and/or gender identity or expression, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, ethnicity, disability, veteran or military status, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, marital status, citizenship status, or on any other legally prohibited basis is prohibited and undermines the character and purpose of Supertopia TeamSpeak. Supertopia TeamSpeak prohibits discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Supertopia TeamSpeak expects staff to serve as models of appropriate conduct for other users, and will hold them to a higher standard of accountability. Server staff must refrain from actions that violate this policy or imply so.

  39. Access:
  40. ~ You can bookmark the server in the TeamSpeak program. For instructions on how to do this, see below.
  41. ~ You can visit http://bit.ly/DBHSCC. This takes you to the Universal Call Center website, which contains direct links to connect with Supertopia members through Skype, Google Plus, and TeamSpeak. If you join the TeamSpeak server this way, you do not need a server password and you can choose your own nickname on the website.

  45. ~ All users are welcome to create their own custom channels.
  46. ~ User-created (Private) channels will be deleted if they are empty for more than 2 minutes.

  48. ~ Supertopia members can join channels regardless of any password.

  63. Bookmarking:
  64. ~ In TeamSpeak, press Ctrl + B on your keyboard. Then click "Add Bookmark". The label is whatever name you want to call the server. The Address is "dbherobrine.servebeer.com" (No quotation marks). You can set the Nickname to be whatever you want. Your nickname is how you will be identified and is visible to everybody on the server. Next, leave the server password field blank. Your nickname will be said aloud to some users on the server, so if it is too complicated for a robot to pronounce, you should click "More" and set the Phonetic Nickname to the phonetic pronunciation of your name (For example: "DBHerobrine" in phonetics would be "dee bee hero brine").
