It is said current-day Democrats are Eisenhower Republicans. Untrue. Eisenhower was a Better Democrat than current-day Democrats.

He was against war. Current Dems are very pro-war and have been.

He was pro-union. Current Dems have done Nothing for unions but lip service.

He was against millionaires meddling in politics, even in his own party, and called them out. Current Dems Love millionaires.

He built massive infrastructure. Current Dems are feeble on it - all talk and no action.

He warned of the Military-Industrial complex. Current Dems are captured by it and vote as many billions for the Pentagon as Republicans.

He was against racism and sent the troops to Little Rock. But he couldn't do a lot since the Southern racists of the Democratic party controlled too many votes. Oddly, it took a conservative Southerner - Johnson - who was a Democrat, to advance racial rights. The Kennedys had to be dragged kicking and screaming to racial equality. But I'll give the Dems a point on equal rights.

But on five out of six items, Eisenhower kicks ass on current Dems as being more liberal.
