  1. For my second visit, I brought with me my trusty wand, as well as an ushanka hat with a Naruto bandana strapped to the forehead flap, in lieu of a newboy cap.
  2. After stretching my energy body for a bit, I entered the waiting room, where, quite quickly, I remembered I still had my perception bound.
  3. Once that was fixed, the first order of business was asking Yuuka about the other anon's experience with the deformed babies. The green-haired girl seemed very perplexed by this, and stated that she saw nothing of the sort during the session. I proposed that it might have been simply the anon's perception, and she confirmed that was the most likely case.
  4.
  5. The other question I had, which was about her mischevious, if well-hidden aspect, yielded an answer along the lines "It's only natural for yokai." I'm genuinely surprised I could hear that, given that in the previous session I heard all names and foreign terms as static. It seems all these creatures are naturally on the playful-murderous side, and Yuuka is probably incredibly well-tempered for a 'yokai'.
  6. With this out of the way, I waddled over to the table, used the linking artifact, and asked to be taken to Gensokyo.
  7. After a brief flash of white, I found myself on the same large avenue I appeared on the first time, and directly asked Yuuka to show me to a place where I can find goblins, since I saw in a post from last week that they were a thing. The spot I was taken to was a fairly sparse forest, seemingly on a hillside, and notice-ably unkept, with a good layer of peat, covered by a blanket of decaying leaves and hardy grass-like weeds. It seems Yuuka doesn't like the concept of gradual transitions, since at once some 8 goblins, at various points around us, noticed our sudden presence, and huddled behind various trees, likely waiting to spot some sort of opening.
  8.
  9. Two stones were thrown at me from the same general direction, with the first one hitting me square in the head.
  10. I stopped the second one in place with my wand, then showed my appreciation for their idea by returning the favour. I lifted a dozen or so rocks from beneath the peat, and after directing my attention to the goblins, I noticed there were around 50 of them dispersed further away around us.
  11. After raising some more rocks, marking each of them for an individual goblin, I launched all the rocks at a speed just quick enough to instantly kill a normal person. On contact with their heads, I doubt they suffered anything more than bruises, because they were all standing just fine a few seconds later. Having taken a rough estimate of their toughness, I grabbed various points throughout their bodies, slowly pulling the skin off the 8 closest to us, and yanking around various organs, bones, spinal columns, etc. in the others. Wands are pretty neat. They must have some sort of copper compound as part of their connective tissue, because while their skins were grayish-green, and the connective layers between their muscles sharing a similar colour, they bled normally, and their muscles were at the very least brownish-red. They didn't seem to bleed from their skin much if at all, so it's likely they only have a limphatic system throughout it. I'm sure much can be learnt from these wonderful creatures.
  12.
  13. I then confirmed that malicious beings cannot enter that world easily, by squeezing a few goblins out and drawing a goethic sigil with their blood. Yuuka confirmed my suspicions on this matter, and added that they can only exert a bit of influence in the area immediately surrounding it, perhaps only slightly more than in the physical world.

  15. Once the goblin business was finished, I asked the guide to take me to wherever she believed I should go. I definitely registered a hard wave of mischievous intent, as we found ourselves in a dark cavern, seemingly with no entry or exit point.
  16. The place had a heavy, oppressive atmosphere, and, ahead of us, there was a raised formation in the rock. Upon it was what I can only describe as an altar of sorts, with a slightly concave section the height and width of a human body. Within it was exactly that, a human corpse, male, which I had the impression was very, very recently killed, with a tortured expression on its face. Its chest cavity was open, with the ribcage snapped off at both sides, and plunged downwards so the ribs formed a natural opening. The lungs were removed, along with the entirety of the esophagus and liver, though everything below them was likely still in place. The heart was still connected to its arteries and veins, and beating.
  17.
  18. Yuuka informed me that since I was looking for an initiation, this is a good first step, and sliced the heart's arteries off, leaving a free-standing, beating heart, in the chest cavity. Not one to kill the flow of a party, I took the fleshy bulb into my hand and bit into it. After chewing for a bit, I can confirm it had the texture of a chicken heart, but much larger. Having swallowed the entire thing, a wave of 'weird' washed over me, and Yuuka presented a very small vial (less than 10ml) with a thick, dark green liquid. She informed me that it would kill what's holding me back, at which point I didn't hesitate much and drank the liquid, with a bit of difficulty, as it had trouble leaving the tiny bottle due to its viscosity. I would describe it as "incredibly bitter", though, it also had a slightly electric taste, kinda like a 9v battery.

  20. With that over with, we returned to the main city, and entered sat down in the terrace section of a cafe, where we shared a very nicely roasted cup of coffee. I may or may not have drank all of it within 10 seconds. After a short chat, I decided there wasn't much left to do, and asked to return to the gate.
  21. I ended the session 5 minutes early, and wrote this account immediately afterwards.
  22.
  23. Not a bad experience, overall. 9/10, coffee could have used a bit of frothing on top.
