  1. Silver was sitting all by himself in a fancy restaurant, dressed in a black tuxedo and red bowtie. He tapped his foot rapidly, waiting for Floee to arrive and start the date. It seemed longer than the sun's lifetime.
  2.
  3. At last, the red shy vixen rushed in, wearing a pink ballgown. In amount of time someone could say a word, she sat across from Silver and smiled.
  4.
  5. "Hi, Silvey," she squealed.
  6.
  7. "It's lovely to see you, Floee," replied back. He leaned forward and was about to kiss Floee on the cheek until-
  8.
  9. She pulled her mask off and was revealed to be Mephiles the Dark impersonating Silver's girlfriend! He snarled like a rabid gray wolf,"I have murdered Floee as she was being dressed for this silly date thingy. Then I disguised myself so you wouldn't attack me right away. Now, your fate will be the same as hers."
  10.
  11. "OH PLEASE NO!" Silver begged for mercy and tried to defend himself with telekinesis.
  12.
  13. "You have no chance of survival, now bid goodbye to LIFE!" Mephiles thrust a strong light beam at his chest.
  14.
  15. Silver immediately jerked up and sat his pillow. He gasped," Ugh... At least it was a nightmare."
  16.
  17. He turned towards his left. Floee, still breathing, was snoozing upon his sleeping bag. Silver could eye Shadow and Blaze still in Dreamland, hugging each other. Rouge, all alone, snored like an old man and Sunset was silently limp, though still alive.
  18.
  19. Outside the cave, the darkness of dusk cluttered the open sky like black ants. The sun was almost done with digging into the rocky hills, as its rays stretched only a mile.
  20.
  21. Silver sighed and laid down, only trying to enjoy the dark. At that moment, Floee opened her eyes and tickled her cheeks.
  22.
  23. "Do you think we should continue our journey?" she whispered like a cricket. "It's already evening."
  24.
  25. "Why not?"
  26.
  27. He, with telekinesis, wiggled the ones who were asleep and faster than light, they popped up from sleep, as if something poked them.
  28.
  29. "Dang!' Shadow snarled. "My brain had to end a very fantastic dream."
  30.
  31. "What dream" Silver questioned.
  32.
  33. "A dream that"-his throat shut for a second-"everything was constructed out of coconut shavings and peppermint... And Blaze and I were the monarchs pf the world. Man, I wish she was still a princess."
  34.
  35. "Alrighty," Sunset observed the faint mist of the Milky Way, "we must gather our things and continue our journey."
  36.
  37. "Agreed," Shadow replied.
  38.
  39. Members of Team Emerald again took turns to change into daywear. They quickly stuffed their belongings into snug backpacks and prepared to venture throughout the desert.
  40.
  41. "I forgot!" the black hedgehog fell into despair. "Which way do we go?"
  42.
  43. "Find the north star," Blaze suggested. "Make sure the Big Dipper is under it."
  44.
  45. Shadow immediately noticed a very bright star and checked the stars under it. No Big Dipper. He eyed another bright star. No Big Dipper was under that one. He was so awful at stargazing.
  46.
  47. "Here," Floee took in Shadow's spot. "Silver and I can recognize the North Star." She stared at the pitch black sky for how long a dragonfly flew in the air and than pointed to a faint, twinkling star in front of her.
  48.
  49. "There. We must turn right."
  50.
  51. "Thanks for helping, Flo'," Shadow smiled.
  52.
  53. Team Emerald steered right and blazed across the sand dunes under the blinking crisp stars of the magnificent Milky Way. Unlike the day which was steaming like a tea kettle, the night unleashed a cool, soft breeze cuddly as a teddy bear. Everyone appreciated the enviorment.
  54.
  55. "I have a question," Floee yelped, "how far are the woods?"
  56.
  57. "I don't know," Silver responded naively. "I don't even know how long the Bronze Desert is."
  58.
  59. "Just keep on moving," Blaze yowled. "The time when we reach our destination doesn't matter, finding the missing Chao does."
  60.
  61. Time marched on like tin soldiers, feet flew like bats, and shooting stars raced down to Mobius. At last, trees stepped in and sand wandered away.
  62.
  63. Floee panted," Wahoo! We have made out of the Bronze Desert- Hey, I wonder if I can find the first house I lived in."
  64.
  65. "All we need to do is to seek a great spot to pitch the tent and sleep for the night," Shadow announced. "He pulled out a bag and unzipped it, allowing the rolled-up tent to fall out.
  66.
  67. The 5 Mobians and a Chao cooperated together to set up the orange tent. Silver, Floee, Blaze, and Shadow tugged the rope in order to prop up the tent. They stepped on the rope to hold them in place, as Rouge and Sunset circled around and hammered the stakes into the soil.
  68.
  69. Moonlight flourished though the area as shadows of tall, thick trees covered the Earth. The courageous, young animals hid in the dark patches and once again changed into their nightwear.
  70.
  71. At last, they and Sunset crawled into the comfy tent and fished out their sleeping bags out of their packs. Even though Shadow didn't manage to bring out a portable lamp that ran on batter, they could still see in the black, since due to being evolved from animals, Mobians have better night vision than humans.
