Kid Anon and Fluttermom part 35

>Fluttershy finishes up her breakfast making, leaving the bowls of food in place for her animal friends and opening the windows so they could pour in to eat.
>Fluttershy also takes out the uneaten dinner she had from last night. It was still good, and familiar to you.
>you frown, you realized she had not eaten dinner at all last night. It doesn't even look like she had a nibble. It still looked edible...but still. Had you really worried her so much? You started to feel a mass of guilt. You slow down your eating.
>Fluttershy takes notice and grows slightly concerned. "Anon, are you alright? is your belly already full?"
>You take notice in her talking to you, and think of a simple lie as to not worry her further as you push your bowl away. "O-oh, yeah. Guess maybe that remedy stuff is still affecting me or something, hahaha" you let out a fake chuckle.
>Fluttershy still was worried, but she believed you as she started to slowly munch through her breakfast. "M-maybe we should stay home. you aren't feeling sick are you?"
>Rainbow Dash quickly butts in, she couldn't have a reason exist as to why Fluttershy, and at this point you, can't show up for her training. "Sick?! but you said he never gets sick!"
>You get startled and try to defuse the situation. everyone seemed to be in such high tensions. "no no, I'm not sick..I...i'm sorry, I'm just not hungry right now. Maybe it's just...something else?"
>Fluttershy took notice of RD's reaction and your words. Maybe it was Rainbow Dash just making you uncomfortable., what with her suddenly being your "Aunt Dash"
>Fluttershy looked towards Rainbow Dash, and tried to subtly have her ease up "Rainbow Dash, can you umm..." she looked around, and saw an empty watering can "water the plants outside?"
>Rainbow Dash tilted her head, confused, that was a sudden and odd request "Why?"

>Fluttershy had already anticipated her answer "Well, because. The flowers outside are probably a little thirsty. And you've been acting a little tense, the fresh air will be ever so good for you, and we can get out to your training sooner if we have everything done as quickly as possible."
>Rainbow Dash nodded, she was indeed tense about getting as much training as possible in before the big race more than anything. But she still wanted to balance being "Aunt Dash" and helping Fluttershy manage her relationship with you better through her own personal views. But priorities are priorities. "Right..sure" She then nodded "I'll get those flowers watered faster than you can say "Horsefeathers!" "
>She zoomed out the door to water any and all flowers outside the cottage. The sooner the better.
>As soon as Rainbow Dash exited. Fluttershy looked at you and asked "Anon, are you sure you're alright? you can tell me. You know that."
>you felt uncertain as to what it was. You were could only guess it was just Rainbow Dash as a whole and the high tensions and pressure coming from her and the thoughts of school that still swam through your mind. You look up at your mother. "Mom..." You tried to think. And then, as you look at your breakfast. You realize another problem you had.
>the dream you had before hand, and the memory spike. You looked deeply into Fluttershy's eyes. You felt a tinge of pain in your heart. You began to think maybe something was wrong, or something was changing. And you could feel the memories of a life before, even if you couldn't remember what that life was. You had grown accustomed to how things were now, with your new mother. One that was there for you, and that you could actually remember. Even if she was a talking horse. "Mom...will...you always be my mom?"
>Fluttershy's eyes grew wide. That was a discomforting question to be asked. "W-what do you mean?"

>You didn't know exactly what you meant yourself.You tried to narrow it down in your mind between the current happenings,fractured memories, and the changes that seem to be presented. "I mean....well....no matter what. if things change,if.I grow up....If..I get all my memories back somehow..even of my old mom...I..Don't want to lose you as my mom. I can't even remember my old mom...I can't..That's why...I never want to lose you either mom." you begin to tear up as you get off your seat and walk over to her to dig your face into her chest. "You're my mom..my real mom..a mom I can always remember...And I never...I never want to forget you...ever...I-I love you mom."
>Fluttershy began to tear up, confused as to what brought this one. You never mentioned you were still worried about your memories. But with Celestia's visit still on the way and not even Zecora knowing where you were from. She started to consider more and more how frustrating it must be to not remember much of your own life before ending up with her. She had no answers. All she could do is comfort you "...I love you too, my little Anon. Please, d-don't cry. "
>You grasp tighter "I don't want to lose you mom...I don't want to...I don't want to wake up someday..and be lost again...lose my memories again. Please...promise me...you'll always be there...always" You started to break down, shivering, you hadn't felt like this since when it was officially established that you would be her son. you just had a mental breakdown, it was all too much to process.

>Fluttershy never let you go as she rubbed the back of your head gently and covered you with her right wing. "Anon, I'll always will be there...I'll never let anything happen to you. I promise....I'll never let anything take you away from me...e-even if I have to...use violence..."
>It was hard for Fluttershy to even consider doing anything violent, even if she had done so rarely in the past. Would she truly be willing? only time would tell. But she felt in her heart that if that situation would occur. if Anything tried to take you away, then she'd rise up to the challenge.
>However, She now started to get worried. And started to think maybe it is too soon to try to make you be more independent. or maybe it was because you were so dependent that it started weigh on you more and more in needing her. She was worried on what choice she had to make, which one would be the right one for you?
>What's worse. Rainbow Dash would probably be rushing back in any moment and be confused as to what was going on. And she was afraid she might say something to upset you further. "My little Anon...I promise you....for always and forever. I will always be your mother...now"
>She pulled you back gently and slowly, and started to wipe away your tears and kissed your forehead "Why don't you show me a smile, hm?" she forced a smile through her tears "we aren't going to get anywhere if we mope around all day, we still have a brand new day to greet."
>You began to calm down, but you went right back to hugging her as your tears began to slow down. "I-I know...I just. Can I just...hug you a little longer?..."
>All you wanted was to be as close as possible. to know she was real.and always will be.

>Fluttershy didn't protest. If that's what it took for you to calm down. then she was more than glad to help you through it. If it got so bad that today's plans had to be cancelled, then so be it. There'd be other days to attempt to help you with the whole independence spiel, right now. You needed a mother.
>the moment had gone on a little too prolonged as Rainbow Dash notices what's going on, having had stepped back inside at a point.
>she is unnoticed as You embrace Fluttershy.
>She just stares and tries to figure out what's going on. she could see the tears streaming slowly from both yours and Fluttershy's eyes. She had no idea what was going on, but she also didn't realize that you both were truly that close. She had heard some of the trading of words. And it had touched her heart.
>She slowly stepped back outside, and started considering what to do next. She knew she'd have to have another personal talk with Fluttershy after witnessing that true loving maternal bond.
>Rainbow Dash then decided she'd go easier on you today than what she had planned. It was obvious that multiple things had been bothering you. So perhaps a more relaxed approach was needed. Though, you can never take away all the arrogance from Rainbow Dash. As she thought you seeing her in action would also make your day. Especially if you witnessed the Sonic Rainboom first hand.
>She nodded to herself as she peeked through the doorway, waiting for the embrace to end.She would definitely take up the mantle of "Aunt Dash" if it meant helping both you and Fluttershy out. What were best friends for? She was sure her brand of raising (in which she had no actual experience aside from taking care of Tank) would make things better. She was still deadset in making you more independent and trying to make Fluttershy tougher. But it was obvious a different approach would need to be taken.
