personality: Kenzie is what could be described as "socially awkward" - in every sense possible. She possesses a set of distinctive traits that could describe nothing else.
She doesn't understand various social norms. It's rare that she actually knows exactly what to do and what NOT to do in social situations. She often doesn't know when it's OK to start the conversation again, what topics are suitable to talk of and when, and what is suited to joke about and what is not. Obviously, this somehow loveable lack of understanding can lead to either weird or shy behaviour later on.
Kenzie can have a different impact than originally intended. It's common for her to joke about something and others to find the joke uncalled for, or to try and give a compliment, only for it to come off in a distasteful way. In other words, she intends to generate one result, and ends up generating a totally different one. This mismatch is a sign of her deficiency of social calibration.
Everyone has conversations that don't flow, have awkward silences or end abruptly. But for Kenzie, this isn't a particularly embarrassing moment. Her conversations are like a rough wagon ride on a bumpy country road: habitually.  She doesn't mind this and can laugh it off later, even if it happened during a lecture.
It's because of this, people have labelled her as socially inept; and quite rightly so. Her presence can only mean a stiff air full of tension, for whatever shenanigan her persona may get her into next.
Under the unappealing layer of AWKWARD, Kenzie is actually a pretty fun person. People often overlook her niceness, which makes her wonder if it's even worth it at all. She tries her best at any situation and although she appears to be innocently inexperienced, she actually has a lot of advice tucked under her sleeve. She's often making jokes and is a very loud person, and gets on people's nerves sometimes.

background: kenzie was born to a korean family in seoul, korea. Her father worked as a korean  to english translator at a nearby university while her mother worked as a nurse at the hospital. She grew up as an attention seeker, drawing on walls and pulling up flower beds, just so the spotlight was pulled away from everyone else. She was particularly drawn to her father, and would often mess up his papers so he'd get mad at her, just so she could turn on the waterworks and make him feel sorry. This kind of behaviour escalated into primary school where she'd often disobey the school rules in order to gather a reputation. She was diagnosed as an attention seeker when she was 14. She often got B or C grades and joined a study club when she became a sophomore [she doesn't actually go to study club anymore].

trivia:
   + Kenzie is a short form for Mackenzie, which itself is derived from a Scottish surname. It originates from the older Gaelic name "MacCoinnich", which came from the word "Coinneach" which means "comely & good-looking". Her parents named her Kenzie because they thought she'd grow up to be unique and true to herself.
   + She often dip-dyes her hair. Despite the fact that it's in poor condition, Kenzie won't stop "expressing herself".
   + When she was 7, she owned three pet fish. They died a month upon getting them, due to Kenzie not feeding them properly.
   + She was born and raised in a Buddhist household, and therefore is listed as a Buddhist. In reality, she gave up religion a long time ago, claiming she didn't want to dedicate her life to some nonsense hokum.
   + She dislikes dogs in every possible way. She says they're too jumpy and loud and shed their fur too much. This was one of the  reasons why she chose a cat mask.
   + She lives in the top apartment of a rundown flat, and constantly annoys the people living underneath with her footwork.
   + Both her parents have no idea about her participation in Jinks, but they are well aware of her grades. When she tells them she's at a study club, she's actually with Jinks.
   + When she's older, she wants to set up a casino with Jinks. No-one knows if she's serious about this or not.
   + She claims that Jinks are her second family, and won't stop at nothing to keep them nearby her.
   + She has panic attacks at night every now and then, fearing her future will fail and that everything will soon fall apart with Jinks.
   + She has a small lisp.
   + She enjoys playing football with the freshman, purposely hitting them with the ball in order for them to suffer. It sounds mean, but to Kenzie it's all part of the fun.
   + She'll flirt with anyone, I mean it. It's often practise for when someone much hotter comes along, but you'll sometimes find her setting up dates with random people.
   + Her Korean name is said to be Kenji.
   + In class, she passes notes. Not just to Jinks, but to anyone. They often contain swear words, drawings of dicks and/or phallic images disguised as fruit.
   + After pranking someone, she'll shout, "Meow, bitches!"
   + She lost her virginity to her senior best friend, Shin Jimin. Don't believe me? Just ask Jinks. She wouldn't stop talking about it for days.
   + She's one of the mainstream members of Jinks.
   + Listens to music on the bus every day.
   + Usually wears vintage T-Shirts and ripped blue jeans.

pranks you're famous for:
   + Laying needles on a teacher's chair before they sit down.
   + Covering all the doorknobs and floors in grease, up in the Science department.
   + Writing profanity and drawing inappropriate images on the bathroom mirrors with lipstick.
   + Taking panty shots in the locker room and printing them out, and putting them in the headmaster's office for anyone to find.
   + Removing all the toilet paper from all the bathrooms, and dumping them in the school's pool.
   + Taking most of the food from the cafeteria and putting it down the toilet.
the mask you wear: A cat, particularly the Japanese Maneki-neko cat.
how you act when with jinks: As her normal self, I guess. She doesn't put up barriers and will talk about anything to them. She sometimes gets on their nerves and tells lame jokes to lighten the mood, which never works.
how you act at school: She acts a little thick, asking dumb questions and not understanding basically everything. She gives them the impression that she works hard at her grades, and comes off as B- sort of girl.

do you go to parties? if so, how do you act?: No. If Jinks are going, she'll wait outside with a bottle of vodka and sing songs to herself. She doesn't like the vibes parties give off and would much rather be alone.

do you smoke? if so, why?: Yes. She's not addicted, they taste too bad to her. In the evenings, she'll often pull out a box of stolen cigarettes and share them with the group, smoking one or two of them. She finds it hard to access them easily, and either makes the older members of Jinks buy them for her, or steals them.

do you drink? if so, why?: I guess you could call Kenzie an alcoholic. Every Friday, she meets Jimin behind the store and he gives her two bottles of vodka. In return, she gives him a kiss on the cheek and 7000₩ [about £5]. This is partly why they're friends. She drinks them all in one night, wakes up on Saturday with a hangover, ready for the next Friday to roll around so she can do it again. She never shares her vodka with Jinks. "It's too illegal," is her nonsensical excuse.

who are you the closest to in jinks?: Han Seo Woo. Kenzie think's she's cute because she's a freshman, and tries to introduce her to the classic Jinks pranks. The two are often seen conversing by the big willow tree, Kenzie throwing Malteasers in Seo Woo's direction for her to "catch". [She can be close with any other freshman applicants that join Jinks]. She also likes to talk to Yonghwa [and other male applicants], occasionally ruffling his hair and putting the Malteasers that Seo Woo didn't catch, down his shirt.

how do you react when you are about to get caught?: She panics. She gets real jumpy, and often runs away from the situation. When that isn't possible, she'll probably stay quiet and breathe heavily, because if they ever got caught they'd be in serious trouble. It's rare that you'll ever see this situation, as she tries hard not to get caught.
where do you go when stressed?: At the roof of the school / up a tree. She likes heights, and finds it easier to relax up high. She also feels like she has privacy up there, and will sometimes talk to herself to calm down.
who do you text in a time of need?: If no-one in Jinks is free, she'll text her father. He was the one who understood her bad behaviour back in elementary school, and she knows he'd understand her situation.
