THIS IS A REALLY LONG, MESSY DESCRIPTION, I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE:

basically there's this spoiled teenage brat named greece who goes on a girls' trip
with her friends using her daddy's money and then sneaks into a club with fake IDs
and ends up being the sober driver for the night while all her friends get drunk

as they're leaving, they witness a murder take place in a back alley. since they
are all witnesses, they had also become targets. she managed to escape, but all
of her friends were killed by the assailant. she became scarred by this incident
and her whole lifestyle changed as a result.

her father is a very rich and powerful man and he is worried about greece's safety
since she survived, which means she could still have those people after her, so he
sends her away to an english boarding school far away and under constant surveilance.
in her senior year, she manages to convince her father to let her come home. he only
agrees on the condition that she follow a curfew and be escorted around by a bodyguard.
this is where the story begins.
