It's Over

The memories haunt me for a while
But then I remember there's something left
I need to put things away right now
Unfortunately, nobody's doing that for me

So I'll just need to settle this mess
One way or another, this guy's going down
The one responsible for everything I dealt with
The one who got this started in the first place

I don't really want revenge honestly
Catharsis is simply ineffective in the long run
I just want to get my answers to myself
Then just ride off into the sunset

Because honestly, the past will always hurt
But what you carve in the present can impact the future
Sometimes though, nobody's honestly home
That means you have to settle it yourself
