Kaorin Sakura: 	Yesterday, Team Oak had participated in its first Pokémon Contest participating in front of camera's being broadcasted worldwide. They won a ribbon and an invitation to participate in a Super Contest in Pallet this weekend. Welcome to the World of Pokémon!
Kaorin Sakura: 	Weather currently: 85 degrees F. Wind S 5 mph. 67% Humidity. 73 degree Dew point. 29.87 in Pressure.
Kaorin Sakura: 	We find Team Oak fully awake at the Pokémon Center, complete after performing their usual morning routine.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter arose from his slumber after hearing the voice of the narrator beginning the session. He was really worn out from yesterday, but also quite satisfied from the past few days. From his corner, he rose up and went down to the lobby to meet the others, excited about the day ahead.
	Grace Appara: 	"There you are. Was worried you'd sleep another day away."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Why would I do that? I'm not lazy...)
	Grace Appara: 	"You passed out yesterday. It's almost 8:30. You were out for almost 24 hours."
	Venec: 	Venec quietly read the paper. What with all the arson and the murders and his recently being taken in by the police Venec was curious if his name would pop up
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Hey, 20 hours of sleep isn't all that bad, what with all the exercise I've been getting.)
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(And what have YOU been doing lately, Grace? You look oddly pleased with yourself.)
	Grace Appara: 	"I slept with Ceph-chan, naturally."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Y-...wait, you what?)
	Grace Appara: 	"Oh. And I got to knock out Tatakai-kun."
* Crystal is walking into the Center with Miranda, having spent the night in her pokehome. In her hands is a copy of the Viridian News. "Small birds and storms everywhere, I guess. I'll have to remember to bring some jackets when we go."
	Miranda: 	"Been hot lately. Hopefully the storms will take the heat with it."
	Cepheus White: 	Cepheus was, in the meantime, trying to get himself ready for the day. He was jotting some notes down in his journal, probably to read for later. He glanced over at Jupiter and Grace talking and chuckled to himself. It was kinda funny watching those two talk, even though from his perspective it was so one-sided.
	Venec: 	Venec nodded, "The was some crazy weather last week too. I think a pokemon migration had gone through and used weather moves."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(...So you knocked out my best idol and you knocked up my best friend?)
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Why would you DO that?)
	Grace Appara: 	"W-What? I...I lack the required bodyparts to knock up Ceph-chan. If anything it'd be quite the opposite."
	Grace Appara: 	"And it was a spar. Pretty damn proud of myself."
	Cepheus White: 	"It's almost irritating at how hot it is. I'm...not used to this heat; it's debilitating."
	Momo: 	Momo the Lopunny was loose that morning, glancing at various objects left on counters. Tilting them, examining them.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(He...he didn't...)
	Crystal: 	"You should dress in some lighter clothes when it gets hot. Short sleeves and pants, thinner cloth and lighter colors would go a long way." She sets her bag on a seat, checking to make sure she has everything packed up.
	Miranda: 	"I have clothing set for warm weather!"
* Miranda gives a nod more to herself than anyone.
	Lucy: 	"That's only because you're incredibly indecent and don't care about what you provoke in the minds of others."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(...I feel so alone now...)
	Crystal: 	"Hahaha... yeah, you definitely do. Cold weather might be more of an issue for you, though."
	Miranda: 	"That's so not true! I'm cover up my body parts BECAUSE of Humans."
	Momo: 	Momo walked over and examined the strange floating thing.
	Grace Appara: 	"Are not."
* Grace Appara extends her arms around Jupiter and give shim a reassuring hug.
	Momo: 	Momo examined the other one who hugged the strange floating thing.
	Lucy: 	"I was speaking about myself, Miranda."
* Miranda frowns to Lucy before nodding to Crystal, "I'll wear warmer stuff when it matters."
* Grace Appara turns to see Momo and narrows her eyes at her.
* Jupiter Roswell reluctantly hugged back. He couldn't help but feel like he was steadily being distanced from Cepheus in favor of Grace.
	Grace Appara: 	"Ceph-chan is mine. Don't you go trying to steal him. I know your kind rivals mine in Human relations. And don't think your cute act will fool me."
	Crystal: 	"It'll be a while before we can relax..." She considers letting some of her team out for a last-minute stretch before hitting the road. She then looks up at Miranda and smiles. "I'll try to have something ready for you by then. For the time being I'm trying to think of stuff for the contest in Pallet. It won't be as easy as yesterday."
	Cepheus White: 	"You don't need to worry, Grace," Cepheus called from across the room. "Venec, anything of note in the paper?" He was still engrossed in note taking.
	Momo: 	Momo's head sunk into her shoulders and she quietly slunk to a chair and crouched behind it, looking at Grace. (I am now hiding...)
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Grace, that was mean of you...)
	Venec: 	"The contest was mentioned." Venec spoke up. He got out of his chair and handed the paper to Cepheus.
	Cepheus White: 	"Ah, thank you." He graciously accepted it and started reading it.
	Grace Appara: 	"She's using a Charm attack on you. I can see your attack ability dropping, Jupiter-chan."
	Miranda: 	"It...It has an attack ability?"
* Crystal closes up the bag, content that she'd packed everything she would need. "They were mostly interested in Lucy, since the front page story was about Scion and splicing. It kind of seems like they want to stir a little controversy over the project."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Is not! Besides, who cares about my physical attack stat?)
* Crystal looks at Grace. "What are you talking about?"
	Venec: 	"Yeah. Or just have people talk about it in general. It is big news."
	Lucy: 	"Wait, I was in the news...?"
	Crystal: 	"We were on global television."
	Miranda: 	"Yeah, but not recognized. Ain't like Cynth's gonna catch you."
	Lucy: 	"She's my mother...she could feel it was me."
	Miranda: 	"Hah! You don't look anything or even sound like you used to. I doubt it."
	Lucy: 	"..."
	Venec: 	"The two of us won the contest, they quickly derailed any other talk of the competition to talk about human-pokemon splicing."
* Crystal puts a hand on Miranda's shoulder. "Let her have some hope. There is -some- chance, isn't there?"
* Miranda turns to Crystal, "Umm...she used to be tan. With blond hair and blue eyes. And short."
	Venec: 	"I was kind of wondering if my mom would hear about it. She does know both of us."
	Momo: 	Momo continues to watch Grace from her hiding spot with wary curiosity.
	Crystal: 	"If her face and body language are close enough it still might work." She shrugs, then looks at Venec. "Hm... probably. Contests are very popular entertainment these days. It's an easy way to get your name out there, and you're less likely to die than in the Gyms."
	Venec: 	"Lucy is what's gotten everyone's attention. Otherwise we're a small local contest we were literally allowed to just walk into. You were the only one on our team that actually belonged on that stage Crystal."
DNA: 	Cepheus jotted down what was written for the expected weather forecasts for the next few days, since that'd probably come in handy. Other than that, there was nothing else of note he got from it, so he neatly folded it and set it back on the table.
	Crystal: 	"Speaking of people recognizing us, I wonder if Scion'll contact us about Lucy and Miranda."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter turned towards the rabbit. (I'm sorry Grace is such a jerk. She's kinda overprotective of her trainer.)
	Cepheus White: 	"...I hope that doesn't happen," Cepheus replied, rejoining the group. "We still don't know their motives."
	Crystal: 	"Their motives? What do you mean?"
	Venec: 	"They probably will now. Miranda said that Lucy was just 'missing"," Venec turned to Miranda, "and I'm not sure if you ever contacted them after we caught you either..." He stopped, thinking about something.
	Miranda: 	"Nope. Had more important things to do. Still do in fact."
	Venec: 	Venec stood and walked closer to Miranda, handing her something.
	Cepheus White: 	"We have at least one of their splices in our possession, plus we still don't know what they're after. Is there any way to really tell how they'll react to us or what they want?"
	Venec: 	"I found it... on a dead body."
* Miranda examines the I.D. and frowns.
	Crystal: 	"... You guys make it sound like you have bad history with them. Is this another thing Professor Oak neglected to tell me about?"
	Miranda: 	"Lucy...how long ago did Hitomi begin acting weird?"
	Lucy: 	"She was acting weird?"
	Miranda: 	"I noticed her being a bit more aware. I guess this explains why."
	Crystal: 	"Was she one of the rule breakers then?"
	Lucy: 	"Wasn't she at the Cinnabar underwater facility?"
* Miranda turns to Crystal.
	Venec: 	"I found that before I'd even met Lucy, back when it looked like Team Scion was just whacking people. I didn't connect the dots, I would have given it to you sooner."
	Miranda: 	"She must've if Venec had her ID. They were researching Phione and Manaphy I think."
	Venec: 	"She had this." He reached into his pocket and pulled out the Darkrai Syringe.
* Crystal looks up those two in her pokedex. "Oh... That's really not something that should be getting out of..." she pauses, watching the syringe.
	Miranda: 	"...huh."
	Crystal: 	"So, not just a rule breaker, but a full-on thief?"
	Lucy: 	"It's not your genome Miranda. Don't worry."
	Venec: 	"Scion made something powerful, then they started killing the leaks. At least that's what I've gathered so far."
	Lucy: 	"Eco-system balance is the major thing."
	Miranda: 	"All defects are thieves. That goes without saying."
	Crystal: 	"With all the things that seem to be happening, it might be good to contact them--if they can and do send out assassins, we should try to make peace with them, right? I'd like to talk with them anyway, since Miranda chose to be my pokemon instead of going back to them."
	Lucy: 	"She means the Humans that go rogue from Scion and take out tech and Pokémon with them."
	Venec: 	"The 'why's sound like they are all different based on who you ask. Why the splices were made? Why are they covered up? Some would say to bring pokemon and humans closer together but no one gets this kind of funding unless military application is involved."
	Lucy: 	"Military?"
DNA: 	Cepheus was overhearing the conversation, not really commenting on it - just listening. So far, what was being said made sense to him, but he was just waiting for the conversation to slip up somewhere.
	Crystal: 	"It's funded by Mewtwo. I'm pretty sure league champion funds are big enough."
	Venec: 	Venec shrugged. "You and Miranda are incredibly powerful. There's got to be someone in the system who's in it for that potential. I haven't asked many questions but just hearing you two comment on things it really sounds like there's a lot of mixed motives in that team."
	Miranda: 	"We're not getting funds from anyone shady or having interests in that sort of area."
	Crystal: 	"Or maybe that someone in it for power has already splintered off. If defections are on the rise, there has to be an incentive."
	Lucy: 	"Mewtwo can clone and enhance Pokémon just like he did himself. He doesn't have a need for a military."
	Venec: 	Venec laughed, "Of course that's just 'crazy guy living in the woods' talk. Don't think too much 'bout what I have to say."
	Miranda: 	"Was done to himself, Lucy. Mewtwo didn't make himself."
	Venec: 	"I heard Mewtwo just supported it, not funded it entirely."
	Lucy: 	"He didn't fund it entirely. But what Crystal said makes a lot of sense."
* Crystal sighs. "All my information's from Miranda, or speculation. I've been kind of curious about splicing lately."
	Miranda: 	"I still follow the 'destroy the world' theory, or 'invoke a newer and stronger specie into the world' theory."
	Venec: 	"Mhmm, Crystal does make a lot of sense. I guess a first impression of murder has colored my views."
	Lucy: 	"What Crystal said actually really does make a lot of sense. Kidnapping eggs, taking syringes and leaving trails of Splice Pokémon exposed into the wild seems like a cover up now, actually. They could be masking what the defects are really up to."
	Miranda: 	"So you're saying there's a secret organization building a super splice army somewhere? What's the purpose?"
	Momo: 	In the meantime Momo the Lopunny had begun sneaking back up behind Jupiter to examine him while Grace was hopefully distracted by the conversation.
	Lucy: 	"There's a lot of potential in splicing. Could be anything."
	Lucy: 	"I mean, we've had no chance at obtaining either Dialga's or Celebi's genome. That would grant us complete control over time travel. The implications of that alone are dangerous."
	Venec: 	Venec nodded. "Why legendary pokemon, that's what gets me."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Don't you know it's rude to stare?) he asked the Lopunny in a highly ironic fashion.
	Grace Appara: 	"...Time travel? Of course!"
	Grace Appara: 	"It's Arceus."
	Lucy: 	"...What now?"
	Momo: 	Momo spread her arms wide. (I have this many hugs!) Momo hugged Jupiter.
DNA: 	The mention of Arceus caused Cepheus' eyebrows to perk, and for him to pay more attention.
	Crystal: 	"Venec, Cepheus, could I try contacting Scion? I think they might be our best bet for answers right now, and like I said, I want to make sure there's not ill will between us over Lucy and Miranda coming with us." She tilts her head, looking at Lucy. "Celebi? I'll keep that in mind--Terella might want to talk with them."
	Grace Appara: 	"Think about it. With the right tools, you could go back far enough in time and face Arceus. If you could obtain its genes, then you'd have its power. That's the power of the creator. That's the utmost powerful thing you could have."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Who are you and why are you hugging me?)
	Momo: 	(I am Momo!) She answered the first question.
	Cepheus White: 	"So you think that's their objective? To travel back to the start of time and try and take Arceus' power?"
	Venec: 	"My mom would be the safest contact." Venec looked to Lucy for validation.
	Lucy: 	"I guess she would be. But...Crystal. You implied you have a Celebi?"
	Crystal: 	"I do. Terella agreed to come with me for a while."
	Grace Appara: 	"That's my guess. If they're power hungry, they could have the power to bend the world to their will with Arceus' power."
	Lucy: 	"..."
	Lucy: 	"You're kidding, right?"
	Momo: 	Momo skipped off to learn other things too, lifting up small objects to see what their bottoms were.
	Venec: 	"That does sound pretty silly. That's a lot of money to bank on mythology."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter gave Momo a quizzical stare. (Weird,) he thought, as he rejoined his master.
	Crystal: 	"I wouldn't joke about having a legendary in my team. Despite how much more common that seems to be with Team Oak. Or maybe it's just a Kanto thing?"
* Lucy crossed her arms, her entire focus now on Crystal.
	Lucy: 	"I'd like to speak with it, please."
	Miranda: 	"Hey, hey. Don't go breaking the rules, Lucy."
	Venec: 	"What's wrong Lucy?"
	Crystal: 	"..." She stares back at Lucy, trying to read her intent.
	Lucy: 	"Nothing's wrong. This is just incredibly rare. I'd like the opportunity to speak with a Celebi."
	Miranda: 	"You're breaking the rules, Lucy. Rules state that if a Pokémon is owned, you ask the Trainer permission before the Pokémon itsef. You're skipping the first step!"
	Venec: 	Venec nodded. Celebi was one of his absolute favorites a well, but it needed something special for Lucy to make eye contact like that.
	Crystal: 	"Lucy, you seem pretty intense for someone who just wants to talk."
	Lucy: 	"I'm not breaking any rules here. I don't have any tools for extraction and I'm not a Trainer. I just want to talk with something that has time control powers and see what the big fuss is about."
	Miranda: 	"...Uh huh."
	Crystal: 	"Lucy, before I let you talk to Terella, I need your word on something."
	Lucy: 	"I'm not going to try to steal it."
	Lucy: 	"Not like I have a way to, to begin with."
	Crystal: 	"That's not it, you've said that a few times already."
	Crystal: 	"Terella agreed to come with me because of an oath against begging to use time powers. If you bring such a request up, it might break that oath by extension."
	Lucy: 	'...Then never mind. Not like it'd have been around for the Giratina incident anyway."
* Lucy turned away from Crystal a little disappointed.
	Crystal: 	"... I didn't say Terella -can't- time travel. Try to imagine being a celebi, having everyone asking you to fix this or that for them."
	Miranda: 	"Lucy, it was Shadow Force. Celebi didn't warp Giratina to another time."
	Crystal: 	"I just wanted you to promise not to ask Terella to time travel for you."
	Lucy: 	"I still follow the theory that all Celebi are one single Celebi and just copies of itself through constant time travel. And it was either Dialga or Celebi that yanked Giratina away. It was using Shadow Force that whole battle. And it just up and vanishing like it did made no sense. There were no trace of energy, not disruption of movement or anything. One second it was there and then another, it was gone as if it was never there to begin with."
	Miranda: 	"Yeah, like I said. Shadow Force."
	Lucy: 	"It's Shadow Force didn't look anything like that during the battle. That was a force of time I'm telling you."
	Grace Appara: 	"Ceph-chan. What're they talking about?"
* Crystal sighs, reaching for Terella's ball. "Why don't you try letting Terella read your memory of whatever you're talking about?"
	Crystal: 	"That way Terella could tell you what it was, or wasn't."
	Cepheus White: 	"Some incident about Giratina vanishing and dragging a Celebi with it? I'm not sure; I never heard of anything like this."
	Cepheus White: 	"Interesting how we got from a splice conversation to time travel speculation."
	Lucy: 	"Yeah, just wanted to ask it if if threw Giratina anywhere in the past two years. Don't want it mind-linking to me though. I'd rather it not touch me."
	Crystal: 	"... You're being rather rude about all this. Celebi touches don't mess you up in any way, otherwise I'd be a thousand years in the past or something."
	Lucy: 	"...You don't know what it's like."
	Miranda: 	"She's a stronger psychic than most, Crysa-chan. She sometimes has personality issues when she mind-links."
	Miranda: 	"Though, she can do it at a distance and to the point where she can control your mind."
	Lucy: 	"Venec doesn't let me do that anymore."
	Crystal: 	"Oh. Terella might be able to help with an indirect read, then?"
	Crystal: 	"If Terella just focuses on what time travel is -like-, would that help?"
	Lucy: 	"...I'd rather just ask and it answer. No touching of brains please."
	Venec: 	Venec was starting to remember why he originally didn't like psychics.
	Crystal: 	"Alright." She walks outside the Pokemon Center, motioning for them to follow.
	Venec: 	Venec checks if Voltorb Flip is active.
* Miranda follows closely behind Crystal.
	Lucy: 	"..."
	Venec: 	Venec walked outside as well.
	Lucy: 	"Crystal."
DNA: 	Cepheus and his cadre walked quietly outside. There was only one thing on his mind right now, and it's that he didn't want to hear this conversation anymore. It was getting on his nerves.
	Lucy: 	"I uhh..."
* Lucy very slowly puts her arms around Crystal, cautiously and almost painfully bringing her into a hug.
	Lucy: 	"-apologize. I meant no ill will."
	Miranda: 	"..."
	Venec: 	Venec looked on in confusion. Lucy was a hard read sometimes.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter started poking Cepheus' shoulder in an attempt to get some attention. He liked the spotlight and couldn't feel its warmth right now.
	Cepheus White: 	"Yes, what is it, Jupiter?"
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(I...) he stopped short, remembering he couldn't speak. Then he forgot what he was going to say, so he started thinking about it.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The sky outside is much darker than it has been yesterday with both gray and black clouds rolling over head. The wind was the same the day before but the sound of rolling thunder could be heard overhead.
* Crystal gives Lucy a brief hug, and a pat on the back. "No harm meant, right?" She breaks the hug and runs forward, tossing the pokeball to release Terella in the batch of trees opposite the pokehomes.
	Venec: 	Venec looked to the sky. "We'll have to get to Pallet quickly if we want it to be at all comfortable."
* Jupiter Roswell rushed over to a nearby lamp-post and got out his paper clip, then started tapping.
* Lucy flinched at the hug and pat before nodding and returning to Venec's side.
	Crystal: 	"We can walk and talk, if you guys are okay with that."
	Cepheus White: 	"Can I answer your question later, Jupiter? It's about to pour out here and I think we need to get moving."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	*nod*
* Terella appears in a flash of red light, sitting on one of the tree branches, a piece of hay in its mouth.
* Lucy turns to the Celebi and suddenly reached for and gripped Venec's hand,.
	Venec: 	Venec held her hand back, looking over to her and then back to the Celebi.
	Lucy: 	"Terella. Two years ago Giratina went into an unexplainable rage and suddenly disappeared. Was that your doing?"
	Terella: 	"Heyyy, how's everyone doing? I'm Terella. Teri. It's nice to meet you all!" It's not actually speaking, but using a psychic 'voice'. This means the hay stays in place no matter how much Terella talks. "I try to stay away from Giratina--Dialga gets a little upset if I'm close by."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(What is that thing? It looks weeeeeeird...)
	Lucy: 	"A-uh-alright? Was there a ripple in time that day?"
	Terella: 	"A big one, actually. Big enough to notice from a few regions away."
	Lucy: 	"...Told you Miranda. Was it Dialga?"
	Terella: 	"I don't know, to tell the truth. Dialga's usually pretty loud about it when the blue oaf goes travelling, but I've been caught by surprise once or twice."
	Terella: 	"Made me lose my favorite plant last time."
	Lucy: 	"...Uh. Right. Okay. Thanks."
	Miranda: 	"So, you were right it was time. But it wasn't Celebi and -maybe- Dialga. But what else has time altering abilities?"
	Venec: 	"Splices."
	Miranda: 	"But we didn't get Dialga or Celebi's genome so that's not possible."
	Terella: 	"Anything else I can do for you, cutie? I wouldn't rule out splices so quick--you don't have them YET."
	Venec: 	".... Time Travel. You don't have them YET."
	Terella: 	"Ha! Beat you to it."
	Venec: 	".... Time travel. You took it from me." Venec laughed.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Can you answer my question now?) Jupiter asked, nudging Cepheus. (We've been standing here forever!)
* Terella laughs a little, floating up off the branch. "I'll let you know if I think of anything, alright? Just don't get too angry if I can't. Too much rage is bad for your human side."
	Cepheus White: 	"What is i-Oh, right, your question."
	Venec: 	"I think you've helped enough. Thank you." Venec nodded to the Celebi.
	Lucy: 	"Thanks, Terella. Ready to go now?"
* Jupiter Roswell gave Cepheus an impatient stare. For good measure, he took out the paper clip and repeated the message.
	Cepheus White: 	"...The answer is no."
	Venec: 	"Lets." Venec nodded to Lucy. Wondering if she was going to let go of his hand, he certainly wasn't about to.
* Terella floats over to Crystal and taps the ball. Just as it does, you can see the hay dropping to be replaced by... nah, it couldn't be...
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter started spinning madly in circles, as if he couldn't believe what he just heard.
* Lucy did not release his hand.
	Crystal: 	"Alright. Let's get going, then! We have a storm to beat and a contest to get to, unless there's something else to stick around for."
	Cepheus White: 	"I see no reason to stick around. Let's go."
	Venec: 	"Nothing we can't fly back for now." Venec grinned, "Onward!"
* Crystal looks at Miranda, "Should I mention Celebi when I call Scion?"
* Crystal keeps her pokedex out in case they find something new.
	Miranda: 	"...I would only to someone we trust."
	Miranda: 	"No telling who's defected."
	Crystal: 	"That's the plan. I'll need your help though."
	Venec: 	Venec continued to walk down the streets, slowly watching them thin until the group had reached the dirt roads to the south. He had yet to break from Lucy's hand, now feeling like it would be to awkward at this point.
	Miranda: 	"Sure thing.""
	Cepheus White: 	Cepheus kept walking, slowly and methodically, as he usually did. He didn't say much because there wasn't a lot on his mind, but...why did he feel so miserable right now? Based on recent events, he should be anything but.
* Crystal walks close with Miranda, holding up her dex to check if the ponyta and blitzle are scanned already.
Kaorin Sakura: 	To which both already were. Did you want the dex entry anyway?
Avara: 	i did not get around to memorizing what has (not) been scanned.
Avara: 	nah.
	Miranda: 	"I feel so...mean just standing around here."
	Cepheus White: 	"The sky looks a little clearer over here, but...ugh, it's still hot."
* Crystal starts walking.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The heard of horses snap their heads in your direction and suddenly flee.
Venec: 	"We have one of each I think, so they're scanned. Unless we want more I wouldn't chase."
	Crystal: 	"Do you guys mind if we look around a bit? It is our job to explore, after all."
	Miranda: 	"I don't mind but if you battle, I'd prefer not to. I'd feel like a jerk and scared I'd kill something."

	Crystal: 	"I won't make you fight. You -are- rather strong, so I'd be worried too, you know?" She ponders which 'mon to bring out, deciding to wait and see what lies in store.
	Cepheus White: 	"...I guess we could take a leisurely pace through here. There doesn't appear to be much here that's very hostile."
	Venec: 	"Might as well see where they went?" Venec looked down the path the horses dashed off down.
	Crystal: 	"Should we split up?"
	Cepheus White: 	"Sure, why not."
* Crystal leads Miranda southward.
	Cepheus White: 	"...All right you two, let's go down the path where those horses went."
DNA: 	Cepheus started walking westward, eager to find a place to be by himself. He was fumbling with some sort of trinket about his neck. Jupiter wondered what it was, but then he noticed Grace was wearing a necklace. He hadn't seen it before.

	Venec: 	Venec had split off from Crystal, with Cepheus deciding to follow him. He already felt a bit silly holding Lucy's hand all the way out of town, part of him had hoped that no one would have noticed then. But now, forced through a tight corridor of trees it was impossible not to have been seen at this point. Venec found himself wishing something would pop out and attack them so he'd have an excuse to break off.

	Cepheus White: 	Cepheus caught up to the rest, and by the time he got there, the fight was over, thankfully. He still wished he could have split up, but doing so would not have been a wise decision, seeing as how Venec had doubled back.
	Miranda: 	"Ugh, boys."
	Venec: 	Venec sighed.
	Crystal: 	"I... guess you need to work on restraint?" She says to Venec, before smiling. "Lunch sounds good, and I'd like to get around town a bit and see what's going on at the Hall. We might get some work there before the Contest."
	Venec: 	"Yeah..."
	Crystal: 	"We should come back through afterwards to see if we can find any new pokemon to scan, but I think a break would be good for now."
DNA: 	Cepheus followed the rest of the group, staying waaaaay in the back. He couldn't stand Danny or Miranda and wanted to be as far away from them right now as possible.
	Venec: 	(Venec waited patiently for the GM to return before walking with the group. )
	Danny: 	Danny, almost picking up the negative vibe from Cepheus, made it his mission to slow down and be with Cepheus.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter tugged Cepheus' sleeve and asked him not to walk, since he didn't hear the mythical Sky Voice.

	Cepheus White: 	"I walk just fine, thank you very much."
	Danny: 	Danny gave Cepheus his most winning smile.

	Cepheus White: 	"Danny, please, don't be so loud. It's irritating."
	Danny: 	It was almost a challenge to Crystal, as his eyes glance her way, to beat his Charisma.
* Crystal catches the challenge by coordinator senses, then turns back to return fire with a smile.

Avara: 	that'd be why heh. >> can beat a 10 on anything but a nat1.
Avara: 	sorry. a bit competitive i guess.
	Danny: 	Danny, a little saddened, noticed that Crystal's smile was just that little bit more shiny.

	Danny: 	But never fear! Danny turned back, shooting back another smile! Grinning widly with tears running down his face!

Venec: 	Venec wondered why the two of them were flirting all of a sudden.
	Cepheus White: 	Cepheus chuckled a small bit. It was almost cute how the two of them were trying to outperform each other.
	Oddish: 	Oddish is healed and gains 33 hit points.
	Danny: 	Danny wiped away his tears, happy to have won this bout of most awe inspiring, and relished it by hugging Dandy.
	Danny: 	"Quick! We must head to Pallet!"
	Venec: 	Venec continued toward pallet, glancing at the sky every once and a while to check the rain.
	Danny: 	Danny and Dandy rushed forward.
	Cepheus White: 	Cepheus and co. lagged behind the rest of the group, Cepheus not wanting to be near Danny or Miranda.
	Venec: 	Just as the group started to once again find the dirt paths Venec noticed a pokemon in the distance, aimed his pokedex and scanned a budew.
Kaorin Sakura: 	"Budew, the Bud Pokémon. Grass and Poison type. Sensitive to changing temperature, the bud is said to bloom when it feels the sun's warm touch."
	Venec: 	"I hope they're doing alright with this weather." Venec pocketed his dex and continued into Pallet.
Avara is disconnected.
Avara has connected.
Danny has received initiative.
	Danny: 	Danny headed into Pallet. "Me first! I'm the leader!'
DNA: 	1sec; crystal's sprites need to be moved
Danny: 	Yeah! Me first! I receive initiative!
Avara: 	ah, i'm in!
	Crystal: 	"Does anyone want the little bird?"
	Cepheus White: 	"...it's...tropical?" Cepheus stated. "I didn't expect this..."
Venec: 	Venec sat down before the pidgey and tried to lure it over with a berry.
* Pidgey turns it's head to Venec and stares at him.
	Working Guy: 	"He's harmless. Very used to Humans."
Venec: 	"I've been wanting a pidgey. How easy are pokemon to catch around here?"
Danny: 	"Just ask them politely," Danny replied.
	Working Guy: 	"Most usually--"
	Crystal: 	"Let's try talking him into coming with us, if he's already used to people."
	Working Guy: 	"Yeah, that actually."
	Venec: 	Venec took out a pokeball, "Hey, do you want to come with me?"
Danny: 	"YOU! PIDGEY! YOU!" He yelled, "YOU. SPEAK. ENGLISH?"
	Venec: 	He took a step closer.
	Working Guy: 	"The Pokémon here are bred and allowed to roam free without Trainers. You could battle 'em but dunno how much they'd respect you for it. They all do have egg moves so if you do battle 'em, be careful."
* Crystal looks at Danny and puts a lip up to her fingers in a shush gesture.
	Pidgey: 	"Cooo?"
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(It's so cool out here!) Jupiter rushed forward, taking in the atmosphere.
Danny: 	Danny looked guilty. "I sorry. Please forgive me."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Somewhere nearby, he noticed a round object, and given his fascination with round objects, he rushed over to it - a Jigglypuff - and started talking to it. (Hi!)
Danny: 	He used his best puppy-dog eyes. He used them on the Pidgey, too.
* Danny rolls: 1d20+5 => 5 + 5 = 10
	Layla: 	Layla hopped over too and snuffed the pidgey
	Jigglypuff: 	"Fffffff ffff fff fffff!!" (OMG!! WHAT R U?)
* Crystal pats Danny's head before grabbing Miranda's hand to run into town with her.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(I am...) he struck a pose, (Jupiter Roswell, most awesome servant of the most awesome Pokemon trainer ever to walk the earth!)
	Vulpix: 	"Rrrraah!! Rhrhrh."
	Cepheus White: 	"...what on earth is he DOING?"
	Venec: 	Venec kept the pokeball held out in front of the small bird.
* Pidgey tilts its head to the Pokeball.
	Pidgey: 	"Cooo. Cooo?"
	Lucy: 	"Yes, he can. Will he? I cannot say."
	Lucy: 	"He wants to be a Pidgeot with flaming whirlwinds."
* Crystal stops when she spots a vulpix. "Hey, how are you, little fire-fox?"
	Pidgey: 	"Cooo. Cooo."
	Lucy: 	"...No, steel spikes is not something he can do with flaming whirlwinds."
	Cepheus White: 	(And who are you, intriguing round object?)
	Vulpix: 	"Rrrrhrhaa!"
DNA: 	Jupiter said that.
DNA: 	Disregard my mistake.
	Venec: 	"I'm good with fire pokemon myself, I can turn moves into fire type moves! Well.. I can learn how."
* Vulpix sits and smiles up at Crystal.
	Crystal: 	"Um... Miranda, can you interpret, please?"
* Pidgey lifted its wind to its beak and tilted its head as if pondering over the thought.
	Miranda: 	"Says you're pretty and looks like you know your way around beauty."
	Jigglypuff: 	"Ffff ff ff fffff." (The star of Pallet.)
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(The star? But stars are pointy. You're round.)
	Crystal: 	"I wonder if she got that from me, or you walking with me," she says with a giggle, before crouching to look Vulpix in the eyes. "My electrode got a Cool-Beauty ribbon in a contest yesterday, actually."
	Vulpix: 	"Rrrhrhhh."
	Miranda: 	"Yes, she has a beauty ribbon too. We're here for the Contests."
* Vulpix wags her tail at the sound of contests and ribbon in the same breath.
	Jigglypuff: 	"Fffff ff ffff." (I'm an idol.)
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(You're a little small for an idol though, aren't you?)
	Cepheus White: 	"Grace, please tell me Jupiter isn't saying something stupid."
	Venec: 	"Well I can at least make you a pidgeot. I made three pokemon evolve just yesterday from training alone!"
	Jigglypuff: 	"...Ff." (No.)
	Crystal: 	"Do you want to come with us? Miranda's got a claim on the next contest, but I always enjoy raising new competitors."
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(So wait, if you're an idol, do people worship you? And if so, then for what?)
	Pidgey: 	"...Cooo!" Pidgey holds out his hand for a...handshake of sorts?
	Vulpix: 	"Rrhrhrhh raaa rahaha."
	Miranda: 	"Yes, she can make you more beautiful."
* Vulpix nods.
	Dandy: 	Dandy seemed to float elaborately toward Cepheus with Danny.
	Venec: 	Venec hooked his right index finger under the pidgey's claw and shook it up and down.
* Pidgey accepts capture.
	Dandy: 	"I am curious to know what's wrong with you?" Dandy asked.
	Danny: 	Danny gasped. "You can talk Dandy!"
* Crystal sets a pokeball in front of the Vulpix.
* Vulpix examines the Pokéball and shakes her head
	Cepheus White: 	"With...with me?" Cepheus turned to the Dragonair, not surprised it could talk.
* Vulpix beckons Crystal to follow her.
* Vulpix sniffs the air for a moment.
* Crystal follows Vulpix, still dragging Miranda along.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(If people worship you, I have this awesome idea!)
* Vulpix sniffs the air for a moment.
	Dandy: 	"You appeared to avoid Danny and Miranda earlier," Dandy noted. "I am curious as to why."
* Crystal takes a moment to scan... EVERYTHING SHE CAN SEE before continuing.
	Cepheus White: 	"...Doesn't it kinda go without saying?"
	Venec: 	"Well, that went well. I'll get him out soon as I can hopefully." He turned to Lucy and Layla. "I smell saltwater, so we must be near the sea. How about we get some swimsuits?"
	Dandy: 	Dandy seemed to emanate a little annoyance at the jibe at Danny. "No. It doesn't."
* Vulpix points to the pink ball.
	Miranda: 	"I think the ball matters to her."
	Cepheus White: 	"Danny is...nice, but he's childish and a little obnoxious. As for Miranda...she almost killed Grace."
* Crystal walks over to the pink ball and picks it up before moving it over to the Vulpix. "Alright. This is your ball now."
* Vulpix accepts capture.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(You should come with us! That way you'll get to travel the world and get the attention of many other Pokemon! I'm sure Cepheus' other Pokemon could probably use some entertainment; they've been sitting around for ages now.)
DNA: 	And thus Jupiter made a social faux pas.
	Dandy: 	"You do understand Danny saved Grace's life."
	Dandy: 	"Right?"
	Jigglypuff: 	"Ffff ff f fff ff fff ff ffff ffff." (Only if I get to sit on your head.)
	Cepheus White: 	"I know, I do understand that! It's just...his personality gets in the way of who he could really be."
* Crystal then turns and spots an eevee. "Hello!"
	Danny: 	Danny seemed a little confused. "I used my mind powers."
* Crystal catches Vulpix gently!
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(I dunno, that Lampent sat on my head uninvited and it was kinda annoying.)
* Eevee tilts his head quizically.
	Dandy: 	"I believe you are wrong," Dandy countered. "Danny saved another's life. What more do you want from him?"
	Dandy: 	"Have you ever saved another's life?"
	Crystal: 	"What do you look for in a trainer, Eevee?"
	Cepheus White: 	"I do not want anything from him. And no, I have never saved another's life because I haven't ever been given the opportunity."
* Eevee turns to the sea and points with his tail and ears.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter turned around to Dandy and said (He saved my life from boredom!) before turning back to the Jigglypuff.
	Jigglypuff: 	( I asked, didn't I?)
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(...Oh, fine, very well...)
	Jupiter Roswell: 	(Just don't cause a ruckus.)
	Dandy: 	"I see, perhaps a litle more respect and understanding is in order," Dandy responded. "Danny is my whole life."
	Crystal: 	"You want to cross the sea?" She raises her left hand. "Or do you want to become a water pokemon?" She raises her right hand. "I can get you both, but I want to know your priority, so tap the correct hand."
	Dandy: 	"I won't hold back when I feel he is disrespected. I am not as patient as Larry."
* Eevee uses Helping Hand on the right hand.
	Cepheus White: 	"That's understandable. He's raised you since you were a hatchling. As for myself...I apologize, but I share no such connection to Danny. He is to me as a friend - an irksome friend, but a friend nonetheless."
	Eevee: 	« 1d20 = 19 »
Kaorin Sakura: 	Crystal gains +19 damage with her next arms attack.
	Crystal: 	(writing that down.)
	Danny: 	"Why are you talking to yourself, Cepheus?"
	Dandy: 	It became clear Dandy was not letting Danny in on the conversation.
	Cepheus White: 	"...I'm talking to your Dragonair, Danny."
	Venec: 	Venec waved over to Crystal. "Hey! I'm going shopping for swimwear, I figured they'd be at teh pokecare shop. Wanna come?"
* Crystal nods. "Alright! I'll see to it that's the way you go. It's a promise!" She sets down the ball she was originally going to use for vulpix.
	Dandy: 	Until this point. "I am having a few quiet words with Cepheus, Danny," Dandy told her parent. "I am telling him what a fantastic person you are and to value you more."
* Eevee grins and heabutt's the Pokéball, accepting capture.
	Danny: 	"Oh. I am pretty amazing, aren't I Cepheus?"
	Cepheus White: 	"...You aren't helping your case, Danny."
	Dandy: 	Dandy's eyes seemed to narrow.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter then picked up the Jigglypuff and placed it on his head. Seeing Cepheus preoccupied in conversation, he turned to Grace and asked (Can I keep him?)
* Jupiter Roswell took the opportunity to steal the Pokedex and use it on the Jigglypuff!
	Crystal: 	"I think that's enough catching for me for now, unless someone asks to be caught. Let's walk around and make sure we have everything scanned in."
DNA: 	(I don' tneed to know the dex entry; the scan count is enough for me)
* Grace Appara pulls a Pokéball from Cepheus' bag and waves it in front of his face before holding it out to Jigglypuff.
Avara: 	(same)
Avara: 	(for now anyway)
* Jigglypuff hi-fives the Pokéball, accepting capture.
* Crystal scans Minccino.
* Jupiter Roswell strikes a pose!
	Crystal: 	"I'd love to, but I spent the last of my money on TMs for Miranda. Why don't we go after the contest?"
	Dandy: 	"I feel like lazing in my Poke Ball now Danny." Danny nodded, returning Dandy back to her ball. "Remember what I said, Cepheus." Dandy gave a 'I will be watching you' look to Cepheus as she was returned in an energy of red.
	Crystal: 	"Then again... they might be really cheap... or have free material."
	Danny: 	"Dandy is really bossy," Danny sighs, "not like Larry."
	Cepheus White: 	Cepheus didn't appear to be in any way intimidated by Dandy. It almost seemed like a desperate attempt to justify hero worship.
	Cepheus White: 	"...So I've noticed."
	Venec: 	"That leaves us a day here to waste. I'll buy one for you if you've got nothing. I'm bumming off of your TMs and Contest talent anyway."
	Crystal: 	"I wouldn't mind putting my own together if there's supplies at the shop."
	Venec: 	Venec laughed, "Well lets go look either way."
* Crystal looks at Miranda, "Do you want to help me pick out a swimsuit design?"
	Miranda: 	"It will be scandelous. Are you sure? And I will enjoy it."
	Lucy: 	"...You have no decency."
	Danny: 	"Dandy has been helpign me develop super powers, though," Danny told Cepheus. "I can use mind powers now." Danny then attempted to lift a Poke Ball with mind and move it around.
	Danny: 	In the air.
	Miranda: 	"And you're too young to notice the life you're missing."
	Lucy: 	"Hag."
	Crystal: 	"I'm VERY sure!" She tugs on Miranda's arm. "I need a second opinion if I'm going to be doing this."
	Miranda: 	"W-What?! I'm not even as old as Grace! Are you calling her a hag too?"
	Lucy: 	"...Wait...Grace is older than you?"
	Venec: 	"Hey." Venec wasn't one to butt into Mirnada and Grace's rivalry but this was starting to cross lines.
	Miranda: 	"...Totally telling her you called her a hag."
	Lucy: 	"No. Please don't. I'm...sorry."
	Cepheus White: 	"Interesting, Danny. How's it coming so far."
	Miranda: 	"Are you afraid of her?"
	Lucy: 	"No. She's my friend."
* Miranda got silent at that last line and turned to Crystal.
	Miranda: 	"Opinions I can give."
You whisper to Venec_Myles: I think I really hurt her feelings there. I -felt- it. Should I apologize?
	Crystal: 	"Alright." She smiles, then starts walking. "Lead the way, Venec."
Venec whispers: Venec nodded, "She thinks you're her friend.."
	Danny: 	"I can lift things with my brain power," Danny answered, "and read minds."
* Crystal pats Miranda's shoulder, holding her a little in an attempt to comfort her. That silence was a little too... silent?
Venec whispers: *thinks of you as her friend.
	Lucy: 	"Hey, Miranda."
	Cepheus White: 	Cepheus shuddered a bit. The ability for one to do that terrified him. "...You don't say..." his voice started shaking.
	Danny: 	"See! I can read your mind if I try!"
* Miranda turned to Lucy.
	Danny: 	Danny attempted to get inside Cepheus's head.
	Cepheus White: 	"Danny, don't!"
DNA: 	let's try Voltorb Flip
	Danny: 	"Hummmm... chukka...
	Lucy: 	"I uhh...we're not...mmm...sorry?"
* DNA rolls: 1d20+6 => 1 + 6 = 7
	Miranda: 	"...Yeah. Thanks."
	Cepheus White: 	"You're not going to like what you see..."
	Danny: 	"What do you mean? Hmmmmmmm...chukka...hummmmm..."
	Danny: 	Danny read his mind.
	Jupiter Roswell: 	Jupiter had no idea what was in Cepheus' head, but based on the comments that he'd seen between Cepheus and Grace, he could guess it wouldn't be a good place for Danny to be.
