How to Bypass Securly Extension Blocked Sites

Method 1 - Bypass With Unblocked Browsers Via Chrome Webstore:
1. Go to the Chrome Web Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore.)
2. Go to Apps.
3. Search for any of the list of unblocked apps below. Install the app to Chrome.
4. The app is like a featureless browser, most sites should be unblocked as Securly cannot block content from the app. Some you cannot do special features, such as bookmarking sites.

NOTE: Some features, such as enabling Flash or locking your mouse cursor, is unavailable via these methods. This means any games you would like to play that require these features, or other features that these browsers do not support, will not work.

Method 2 - Bypass Securly Extension With Scratchpad (Patched):
METHOD PATCHED: This method no longer works. Upon clicking on a website in Scratchpad, Securly now detects it as a blocked site and will prevent the user from going there on Scratchpad. The website isn't blocked.

1. Search the keyword of whatever blocked site you would like to access. Do not click on the link.
2. Press "Ctrl + U" to open the source code.
3. Press "Ctrl + A" to select it all. Then, press "Ctrl + C" to copy all of the code.
4. Visit Scratchpad (scratchpad.io).
5. In the HTML editor area (located on the left) locate line 24.
6. Go to the end of the line. Press spacebar twice and paste in your source code.
7. The website you would like to visit should appear on the right. Some sites may be blocked by Securly, but most should be fine. Note that some pages will not load properly, but are still navigable.

Method 3 - Bypass Securly Extension With Different Proxy:
1. Visit FECCME Cloud (fcm.69.mu).
2. Copy the link you would like to go to.
3. Paste the link and hit "Enter" to go to your desination. You may have to attempt to paste it in fast since Chrome detects it as a deceptive site and will prevent you in a few seconds upon loading.
4. The website should appear below. If you would like to search another site, the bar up top has a URL box. To hide the bar, click on the "X" located on the top-right corner. To show the bar, click on the icon located on the top-left corner.

NOTE: Flash games will not work or load properly with this method. Some other features may not work as well. This method can bypass sites blocked on Chrome and Chrome OS, along with Securly. This method is also the most slowest since it is using a different proxy.

Method 4 - Bypass After School:
This method does not require any detailed steps.

Found on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, you can go on any site (minus websites blocked on Chrome and Chrome OS) without Securly interfering after school hours. You don't need to use unblocked browsers or the proxy method to get to the page, Google Chrome will work.

Method 5 - [UNPATCHABLE] Bypass By Opening Page Before Securly Starts:
1. Open Chrome and bookmark the page you would like to visit, preferably the bookmarks bar for easy access and a faster way.
2. Sign out of your Chromebook. You do not need to remove the account from the PC.
3. Sign back in to your Chromebook.
4. As you log in, all the processes will open and start loading. Google Chrome opens automatically, however as it is still loading, quickly navigate your cursor towards the bookmark you've created. Click on it to open the page.
5. You've successfully opened the page. If you need to refresh the page, or go to another page, you will need to repeat the steps again.

This method is currently by far the BEST method. It is also UNPATCHABLE.
Keep in mind this is the hardest method, as you have to be really quick.

* - These unblocked browser apps have the same UI interface, just published by different developers. If one if blocked, you can download the other.

NOTE: WiFi-based blocking cannot be bypassed via method 1, 2, 3, and 4.

NOTE: All methods cannot bypass any blocked sites that have been blocked on Chrome OS/Google Chrome. This method can ONLY bypass the Securly extension from blocking sites in their blacklist. This method is also the only way to have Flash, cursor locking, JavaScript, and others loaded and working properly.
