- MRE - ask someone else, I don't go for it
- Town Door Clip (2:48) - This skips the cutscene at the bottom of the stairs, and must be performed every time you leave town (5 total). You can retry it by entering and exiting the house, and attempting this skip is faster than going around if you fail it less than twice throughout the run.
- 1st Cough Skip (3:32) - The trigger is roughly the size of the archway, however by using the gap on the left you can dash through only the corner, which lines up with the uninterruptible part of your dash and prevents the cough from triggering.
- Blue Cloak Ledge Clip (3:49) - This clip is only to get 2 bits, and is not worth going for unless you can get it within 2 tries. The initial position depends on which drifter you are playing. Alt is more lenient, but as the normal drifter you must be standing at least as far left as the 3rd window from the right.
- Cliffs Ledge Clip (4:15) - This saves a bit of walking around this screen, with a fast setup you usually have 3 or 4 attempts before you start losing time. On normal drifter this only barely clears the gap, requiring a very shallow angle and a drop close to the wall. Not getting dash speed on the drop means you're dropping too late, and falling means your angle or position was bad.
- Cave Arena Skip (5:43) - Getting clippy from the cutscene allows you to avoid killing all the birds in this room, and instead get the 2 bits and leave. This barely saves time and is quite difficult. Not recommended for newer runners.
- Warp Arena Skip (6:29) - Walk into the cutscene on the left side, than as soon as you regain control walk slightly up and dash down-left. This is very lenient and saves around 30 seconds.
- North Boss Skip (6:49) - Stand on the top-right of the module, dash up-right and immediately start interacting. If you are too low or your dash angle is bad you won't fall after the dash, and if you are too high you won't have time to interact after dashing. This trick is essentially mandatory for any%, and if you activate the module without getting clippy it cannot be attempted again.
- Unnamed Skip 1 (8:08-8:27) - Don't try this unless you're going for WR
- Unnamed Skip 2 (8:29) - This skips a long arena and is easy if you move carefully. The floor under the right wall has a large gap above the bit, but dashing straight up after collecting the bit should avoid it. If you touch the door when leaving (instead of the loading zone behind it) you will die instantly. The same is true for all locked doors which you can enter from out of bounds.
- Unnamed Skip 3 (9:03) - Door clip on the right and walk up through the barrier. You don't need to sit since the barrier resets the death timer.
- 1st Transition Clip (11:02) - The most lenient dash angle is between right and down-right. The movement after clipping is simple, but there is a tiny place to get stuck if you are too far right.
- Samurai Arena Skip (11:20) - https://www.speedrun.com/tools/West_OoB_Tree_Module_6b3a5.zip
- Prison Skip (12:46) - Simple crystal clip, there is no floor above the crystal so you have to go around to the left a bit.
- West Boss Skip (13:52) - Dash angle is somewhat precise and sit input has a 2-3 frame window depending on position. After getting clippy, stay close to the bottom wall of the bridge to avoid getting stuck on the displaced geometry.
- East Zips 1 and 2 (15:50, 16:03) - See video for position/angle setups.
- East Boss Skip (17:02) - The easiest setup for this skip uses keyboard + mouse, and this is recommended for most runners as failing will crash the game. Wiggle yourself into the bottom-right corner of the ledge (if you can't walk horizontally you're too low), and align the cursor as seen in the video. The bottom of the cursor should line up with the lowest notch in the railing, and the right side of the cursor should line up with the left side of the railing. Do a phantom slash here, walk back to the right side without moving vertically, then do another phantom slash with the same cursor position to clip.
- Shotgun Clip (17:33) - By standing up against the wall next to the skeleton holding the shotgun, picking it up will clip you in. This saves a few seconds over going around the left.
- Lab Skip (18:24) - Precise setup to get clippy from a plant and walk directly to the module. todo: add details
- Red Door Clip (18:55) - Standard red door clip as described in the glossary. After clipping, line up with the top of the blue part of the wall, go straight left until the camera moves, then dash towards the key door.
- 2nd Transition Clip (20:09) - todo
- 3rd Transition Clip (20:58) - todo
- Unnamed Skip 4 (22:38) - todo
