Tsaaq: Hayley jogged towards the park, into the parking lot. She jogged in place a moment and looked around with a panicky look. She pouted as she crossed her arms over her chest, looking for Adam and Lady.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam stood in place near the boardwalk, getting antsy because Lady was taking her sweet ass time sniffing the ground for her pee. He held the dog's leash in his hand, trying to keep his feet moving as he sort of just looked like an aerobics instructor.-
Tsaaq: She spotted them in the distance and ran over, her hair bouncing in the wind as she jogged down the small decline. She stood beside Adam and grinned. "Hey Abs." She said as she went to give him a hug. "Hey Lady."
Alexithymiaa: -He leaned over to hug her, clearly annoyed that Lady hadnt peed yet, but was instead sniffing every inch of the ground to make sure this was the perfect pee place. "We can run as soon as she's done. And she's definitely taking her time."-
Tsaaq: "That's okay. I take forever in the bathroom sometimes." She shrugged her shoulders a moment then went to lean up against him a moment. "I'm glad that you asked me to come here. I need to the fresh air."
Alexithymiaa: "I thought you might enjoy it. And today was a really nice day, so I knew it would be a nice night to go for a run." He smiled at her for a moment before dropping his eyes down to look at Lady who had FINALLY squatted to pee.-
Tsaaq: She smiled and looked in Lady's direction. "Oh good." She said. She heard rustling in the distance and jumped but once she realized it was the wind she sighed. "Yeah. I need exercise and stuff."
Alexithymiaa: -He turned his head to look in the direction of the sound, laying his hand on her shoulder because he knew she was jumpy and shit. "Everyone needs exercise. C'mon." He gave a gentle tug at Lady's leash and broke into a slow jog, waiting for the dog and Hayley both to catch up before he would pick up his speed.-
Tsaaq: She jumped a moment then bit the inside of her cheek. "Okay, great." She said as she started to jog with him. "So Nikki got home okay?" She asked him as she did the running motion thing with her arms as she jogged.
Alexithymiaa: -He nodded his head, watching Lady ahead of him as they ran the boardwalk. "Yeah, she caught her flight Thursday morning and called me when she landed in California. She's been checking in with her dad, last I heard."-
Tsaaq: "Oh great. Good to hear she's okay." Hayley sighed as her running slowed, she bit the inside of her cheek and ran so she could catch up to him.
Alexithymiaa: -He nodded his head, keeping a steady pace. "I think she's doing as well as anyone can expect of her considering the circumstances. When someone close to you is sick, you kind of expect the end to come eventually, but I don't think you're ever really ready for it."-
Tsaaq: Hayley nodded her head. "Yeah... I guess you kind of hold hope everything will work out I guess." She replied before falling silent.
Alexithymiaa: "Fortunately I've never had anyone close to me in that situation so I don't know from experience. I'm just assuming as much." He picked up his pace just a bit when he felt Lady's leash lose its slack.-
Tsaaq: "Me either, but I don't know. Somehow being around her while thinking about that made me sad, like I was experiencing it. It was weird... I'm weird." She said quietly then stopped jogging a moment, gasping a  moment as she went to hide behind Adam. "Sorry, I thought I heard something."
Alexithymiaa: "You're empathetic. That's not weird, it's endearing." He smiled at her, the smile slipping from his face when she stopped short. He also stopped, tugging on Lady's leash to get her to ease up. "Are you alright?"-
Tsaaq: She turned to him and inhaled deeply, rubbing her hands together nervously. "I mean..." Hayley trailed off. "I've been freaking out every since the thing at the Bistro. I feel like I don't know what could happen so now I'm all jumpy and scared of nothing and shit."
Alexithymiaa: -He frowned, stepping closer to her and putting his hand on her shoulder. "I'm right here. Nothing is going to happen to you. I promise." He leaned over, pressing his lips to her cheek.-
Tsaaq: She nodded and smiled at him. "Thanks Abs... I don't mean to seem all scared and shit but... I've never really seen some shit like that before." She frowned. "Even when Remy used to do drug dealer stuff."
Alexithymiaa: "You shouldn't have to see anything like that. That isn't normal. And as much as I can help it, I don't want you to have to see anything like that." He stepped forward and slipped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her against his side to comfort her.-
Tsaaq: She inhaled deeply and leaned against him. "Thank you... That means a lot to me. I still feel bad for dwelling on it but, you're helping. At least there's that." Hayley forced a smile.
Alexithymiaa: "I think it's only natural for you to be dwelling on it. It was a jarring thing to go through and experience. I'm upset that some people need to resort to violence for their voices to be heard, and I'm upset that some people's voices are against women's rights and appreciation, but it is what it is."-
Tsaaq: "Yeah I dont get that, why do people hate it when we try to talk about women's progression?" Hayley asked with her eyebrows furrowed. "I thought Portland was supposed to be one of those places that like everyone to have rights?
Alexithymiaa: "Because people have old ways of thinking and in that way of thinking, men are superior to women. Unfortunately they forget men wouldn't exist without women. Equally."-
Tsaaq: She frowned and went back to leaning on him. "How do we get them to stop that shit-" She began to ask. "Can we just head home, I don't mean to be a downer." She sighed again
Alexithymiaa: "I'm not really sure..." He said with a sigh before nodding his head. "Yeah, c'mon. We'll turn around." He tugged on the leash to get Lady's attention, breaking into a jog in the direction they'd come. "Some people are stubborn."-
Tsaaq: Hayley jogged beside him. "Yeah... That's still messed up." She replied then settled into silence as they jogged in the opposite direction so they could go home.
Alexithymiaa: "I know. But you can't control people." He said, setting his eyes ahead of him as they jogged home.-
