falling down

I used to skateboard when I was pre-teen. I would still skateboard if it weren’t for the fact that there is a lot more of me to hit the ground when I fall now than there was back then. When kids fall they bounce back up like it was nothing, because they’re only a few feet off the ground and weigh practically nothing. People laugh when kids fall. I do at least, but that’s probably just because my mom laughed at me whenever I fell as a kid. You know you’re an adult when you slip and fall and instead of laughing, everyone gets concerned, unless I’m in the vicinity because I’ll probably laugh anyway.
