Personality: Damien is kind-hearted and caring, always looking out for his members. He's what the fans might call 'smol'. He's most probably one of the shortest and likes to dress himself in over-sized clothing because he likes that feeling of being protected. He's naturally caring and shy, not talking for the first few days of being in the group due to his introverted nature. He prefers reading to partying and likes staying indoors and tend to avoid social events. Due to traumatizing events in his past that led him to become very introverted, he also hates loud noises and sharp objects. He can also be known as the happy pill in front of the fans since he likes to act very happy and cheerful. Even when he is hurting or upset, he hides it very well so he doesn't have to worry people. He hates being a burden to everyone so he keeps his problems to himself and keeps his emotions bottled up. Due to that, he might get an emotional breakdown or burst out in anger at random times when things get too much for him.

Background Story: Damien was born in London, England,and spent most of his childhood there. Due to that, he can speak English fluently with a slight British accent. As he grew up in London, he was constantly bullied for having Asian features. He would get beaten up with whatever his classmates could find. The most terrible damage they inflicted on him was when they smashed a glass bottle on him and cut him in various places. They also shouted insults at him whenever they see him. That was the reason why he hated loud noises(except his fan's shouts) and sharp objects, since they've also used scissors to hurt him. His parents on the other hand, had neglected him since they feel he was a burden as they've always wanted a girl and a boy, but got 2 boys instead. The bullying finally stopped when his family moved to Seoul when he was 16 and changed schools. He still has the bruise and cuts from the bullying and uses waterproof concealers that his elder brother secretly bought and sent to him to hide the cuts and bruises. Since the bullying, he feels like a burden to everyone that was why he tries to make people worry less about him. His members don't know about his past since if they do, they would start worrying about him.

How did it start: He was trying to find his way home but because he was new in Korea, he got lost and ended up in a random street. Fortunately, Jaebum had just finished his practice and was walking to a nearby store to buy some food. He saw that Damien seemed lost and asked if he was ok. With his limited Korean, he tried to explain to Jaebum that he was lost and Jaebum somehow understood and helped him get home. They became close after Jaebum gave him his number and they would talk everyday after Damien got home from school. Jaebum was the only one who knew about his past and promised to keep him a secret. He's also the only one who knows how to calm Damien down if he suddenly has a breakdown.
