  3. History
  4. The band's history began in 1993 with an Amiga 500 and a Kawai K4 synthesizer. Michael Thielemann and Dennis Schober, who had met in 1992, experimented with this equipment under the name Plague. Just one year later, in 1994, the decision was made to form the Solitary Experiments project.

  6. The first demo tape, Risque De Choc Electrique, was released in 1996 and featured singer Dana Apitz. That same year, the song "Dein Fleisch" was also the first official release on the compilation Electronic Future Compilation Vol. 1. The band gained their first concert experience and programmed additional pieces, which led to the second demo recording, "Death In Small Doses," in 1998.

  8. Dana Apitz subsequently left the band. Keyboardist Steve Graeber joined the band. Further releases of individual songs and the band's first international concert followed. The band's growing popularity ultimately led to a contract with the record label Maschinenwelt in 1999, which released their debut album, Final Approach, that same year.
