  3. THE HISTORY OF CLAPPY
  4. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  5.
  6. Clappy grew up on the planet Bespin, the single child of outcasts hiding in exile, who had been forgotten by civilization. Clappy’s father had left from a young age to join the Jedi Order in their quest to bring peace to the galaxy, leaving Clappy and his mother to survive alone. Clappy was born with the gift of the Force but was damned to the life of a pariah, fighting every day over scraps just to survive. Why? What did Clappy do to deserve a life like this? This suffering caused Clappy to have a hatred for others, prioritizing his selfish needs over the needs of others.
  7.
  8. All Clappy wanted in life was power. Power decided who was rich and who was poor, who ruled and who obeyed, who lived and who died. With his future looking dim, Clappy left his home planet and family at a young age by sneaking on a cargo ship heading to Tatooine so he could train his Force powers alone.
  9.
  10. Clappy didn’t know what his plan was but all he knew was that he needed to get stronger than he was now, one day people would fear his strength and kneel to him. On Tatooine, Clappy lived in solitude, making sure not to gain any unwanted attention to his powers as many in the universe feared his powers and many who wanted to use them. Each day, Clappy would venture into the desert looking for any life to practice his powers on slowly learning the basics of his abilities and gaining a deeper connection with the Force. He pushed his body to the limit, forcing it to adapt to his powers. Clappy’s body was just a physical limitation to his true power, and he would not let it get in his way.
  11.
  12. One day, while Clappy was out in the desert, he came across a Tatooine citizen lying unconscious on the ground. Upon investigation, Clappy found the man was still alive although he had been wounded in the leg. Usually, Clappy would just leave people like this for dead as they had no use to him however something inside of him urged him to save the man. Taking pity on the man’s life, Clappy decided to heal his wounds and take him back to his hideout until he recovered. While the man recovered, Clappy entered a state of meditation and thought upon his next actions carefully. If this man woke up, he would know who Clappy was, and he might alert others to his presence. However, Clappy was just a single individual trying to live his life on an unknown planet, his training used up many resources and he was running low. Clappy knew he could not survive long by himself and he needed help from someone. Upon awakening, the man revealed his name was Han Haruss, a Tatooine merchant who had been traveling in the desert to find some plants to sell. Han recalled being attacked by a Tusken Raider and was left to die after the raider found nothing useful. Han thanked Clappy for saving his life and offered him supplies before returning to the village.
  13.
  14. Over the next few months, Clappy continued to train every day, honing his skills and obtaining greater control over his force powers however without a teacher his progress was slow. Occasionally he would venture into the local city to trade goods with Han Haruss in exchange for plants found in the desert.
  15.
  16. One morning, Clappy was taking a trip to Han Haruss but upon seeing the city in the distance he noticed something was off. As Clappy got closer he saw a great inferno consuming the city and starfighters circling the city. Clappy rushed into the city, hiding in the shadows while observing what was going on. Chaos had taken over the city, Imperial troops breaking into houses, killing citizens who attempted to run away. The sounds of screams and blaster bolts filling Clappy’s ears. Out of the corner of his eye, Clappy spotted Han Haruss lying in a pool of blood barely moving. Clappy ran over to his body noticing Han was still alive and quickly healed him before he lost too much blood ignoring everything else going on around him. However this was a wound greater than anything Clappy had dealt with before, Han had multiple blaster wounds across his body and he was barely breathing. Clappy closed his eyes and tried as hard as he could, summoning every ounce of Force in his body to heal the man. The amount of power Clappy was using caused all his old wounds to burst open, spraying blood all over his clothes but Clappy did not care about that. After a few seconds, Clappy felt the life force of Han return and slowly smiled while his eyes were closed.
  17.
  18. All of a sudden, the sounds stopped, no more blaster bolts, no more screaming. Instead, there was an eerie silence in the air that was quickly replaced by a low hum of a lightsaber. Clappy turned around to see himself surrounded by a group of people wearing red armor and in the middle of them all was none other than the Sith Emperor himself, Dark Lord Moxxi. The Emperor stood there for a minute examining Clappy without saying a word as if he was staring into Clappy’s soul feeling his desire for power. Is this how Clappy would die? On some backwater planet being killed by the Sith while he was too weak to fight back? No one would ever remember who he was. Clappy stared back at the Emperor without moving or taking his eyes off him. Eventually, the Emperor de-ignited his lightsaber and offered a proposition to Clappy. The Emperor offered to spare Clappy’s life in exchange for Clappy becoming his new apprentice because he saw the potential Clappy had. Clappy quickly accepted this offer fearing for his life, although he did not realize how important this decision truly was.
  19.
  20. The Emperor smiled, pleased with Clappy’s decision, and handed Clappy a lightsaber telling him to kill Han Haruss to prove his loyalty. Although this was the first time Clappy had held a lightsaber, it seemed as though his Force powers were guiding him, allowing him to wield the weapon effectively. Clappy looked at the lightsaber, its hilt was made of rare metal, with beautiful designs etched into it made by a master craftsman. The blade was the opposite, almost an insult to the hilt, a crimson blaze that radiated an aura of darkness and anger that beyond anything Clappy had felt before, just holding it made Clappy feel like his heart was being ripped apart as he felt the pain of the thousands of lives this blade has taken. Clappy looked back at Han Haruss and saw the fear in the man’s eyes, Clappy had never killed anyone before. Han did not say anything, he simply cried. He cried knowing his life would be over soon, knowing that this person who once saved him would be the one who killed him. Clappy could not help but cry as well but he didn’t know why, killing Han Haruss would allow him to join the Sith Order under the teachings of the Emperor himself, this had to be done. Through his tears, Clappy swung the lightsaber watching Han Haruss’s lifeless body collapse to the ground and his head roll alongside it. The blade of the lightsaber flared as it claimed another soul causing Clappy to drop it. Clappy dropped to his knees and held the body of Han Haruss, while the Emperor simply laughed while walking away.

  23. Sith Empire
  24. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25.
  26. Clappy had heard tales of the Sith Empire. A group of force-sensitive dark warriors who brought death and chaos everywhere they stepped. Just like Clappy, the Sith strived for power, obtaining it any way they deemed necessary. This included killing those closest to them, Clappy was told about apprentices who had trained their whole lives under a Sith lord, only to kill that same lord as soon as his back was turned.
  27.
  28. The Sith ruled with an iron fist with a clear hierarchy of where every Sith belonged in the empire, one wrong move against those above you in the hierarchy and you would lose your life. Therefore, trust had to be earned through loyalty if you wanted to survive the Sith Empire. If Clappy wanted to gain power, he would need help from others because the strength of an army far outweighed the strength of an individual.
  29.
  30. Korriban reminded Clappy of Tatooine, an ugly desert that stretched as far as the eye could see. The only thing that stood out was a majestic pyramid in the middle of the planet that served as a temple for the Sith. Clappy stared at the obsidian temple for a while, feeling the dark energy emit from it. It caused an uneasy feeling in his body, yet he felt tempted to enter. The Sith temple contained centuries worth of knowledge about the history of the Jedi and Sith as well as ancient Sith artifacts that had been collected from great warriors of the past.
  31.
  32. Clappy was first trained as a Sith Acolyte, the lowest rank of the order, learning the ways of the Sith through aggressive and brutal training. In the Sith Order, if you showed any weakness, other Sith would take advantage of that and had no hesitation with ending your life. Clappy remained diligent through his journey as an Acolyte, disposing of those who he deemed unfit of being a Sith. After proving himself worthy through his training, Clappy was granted the rank of Sith Apprentice and was now allowed to join one of the many Sith organizations.
  33.
  34. The first organization Clappy joined was the Imperial Guard, a group of Sith with the duty to protect the temple and the Dark Council. Since the Emperor had bestowed mercy upon Clappy by sparing his life on Tatooine, Clappy decided he would use his skills to protect the Emperor and the Dark Council while he trained. Although few in numbers at the time, Clappy stood alongside the Imperial Guard Commander Kai, acting as a healer and an iron wall between the Jedi and the Dark Council.
  35.
  36. After the Imperial Guard had grown in number, Clappy decided his skills would be useful elsewhere, specifically the front line of the Sith where healing was necessary. Clappy had 2 choices, the Bladeborn, a group of Sith warriors who fought on the front line for the Empire, or the Imperial Command, a group of Imperial Troopers who fought on the front line for the Empire. Clappy ultimately decided to join the Imperial Command due to the lack of medical supplies provided to the troopers by the Empire. Clappy joined under the command of Maxim Lukim and comrades Poonk, Ball, and Bwob, forming a brotherly bond with them through battle. While in the Imperial Command, Clappy participated in many missions and raids, including those tasked by the cartel leader Kroqzor Blackfin which made his legacy in Sith Empire grow.
  37.
  38. As time went on Clappy continued to progress with both his strength and knowledge of the Force. Studying ancient Sith holocrons, Clappy learned new techniques such as Force Corruption and Force Scream proving himself to be a competent Force user for the Sith Empire.
  39.
  40. After a mission on Endor, dealing with rogue Duloks attacking a local imperial station, Clappy returned to Korriban to meet with his master. However, Clappy quickly found out Dark Lord Moxxi was not on Korriban and he was no longer the Emperor. On the throne sat Emperor Rann, a fearsome Sith covered in black armor, except for his eyes, glowing red with a burning rage far greater than Clappy had seen before. As soon as Clappy saw Emperor Rann, he knew this was not a man to be messed with, so he quickly left the Sith Temple and sat on the coarse sands of Korriban thinking about his situation. Clappy no longer had a master and would have to continue his studies by himself. This was a blessing in disguise for Clappy as the higher ranking Sith now had more important matters to worry about, no one cared about Clappy anymore and he could continue to grow his power in secret.
  41.
  42. After years of training, Clappy was scouted by the Emperor’s Wrath to join the legendary Death Squad, an elite squad of highly specialized Sith tasked with being the blade of the Emperor. Clappy’s trial consisted of escorting a VIP from the back of the Sith temple to the Dark Council chambers while defending the VIP against the entire Sith Empire. After successfully completing his trial, Clappy was granted the seat of the Juggernaut, his job was to take the hits during missions while also healing other members of the Death Squad. In Death Squad, Clappy met other Sith with who he made a close bond with such as Draest Yor and Nazgul. These Sith would often travel and train with Clappy while he was in Death Squad.
  43.
  44. Eventually, there was a major re-organization of the Emperor’s Cabinet under the rule of Emperor Rann. The Wrath, Hand, and Voice had changed as well as some of the Dark Council. Following these changes, Death Squad had been disbanded and Clappy was left without an organization.
  45.
  46. With Death Squad disbanded and rumors of an overthrow spreading across the Sith, Clappy no longer had a purpose in this new Sith Empire. His loyalty originally lay with Dark Lord Moxxi, not with the Sith order so he did not care for internal politics. He eventually left Korriban with no idea of his next steps and took refuge in the caves of Ilum where he meditated for the next 2 months.
  47.
  48. In his pursuit for power, Clappy had lost everything. Friends, family, even his own identity. He reflected on his actions, how many had he killed under the Sith Empire. How many innocent people had he murdered? He had killed parents, leaving their children to grow up by themselves just like he did. Clappy thought back to Han Haruss. This man was one of the first people to treat Clappy as a person rather than some trash on the ground, and Clappy repaid Han by ending Han’s life for his own selfish gains. Upon awakening from his meditation, Clappy heard a strange voice calling out to him. The voice was unknown yet sounded familiar to Clappy, urging him to return to his ship and go to Tython.
  49.

  51. Jedi Order
  52. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  53.
  54. With nowhere left to go, Clappy turned to the Jedi Order after he heard his previous companions Ziljian Bor and Kai had joined the order. It was either this or returning to Bespin with nothing, so Clappy set his ship coordinates for Tython to repent for his past actions. Tython was a breath of fresh air for Clappy. Nature thrived, and a wave of peace and harmony rushed through Clappy's body. The smell of fear no longer plagued the air, the feeling of someone always watching you was gone. Clappy finally felt at peace, a strange feeling but a welcome one. During his raids on Tython, he never had time to take in the beauty of the planet. The Jedi Order was very different from the Sith Empire. They had loyalty like the Sith, but it was not through fear, it was through trust. The Jedi knew their masters possessed more knowledge and skill than them, so they respected them.
  55.
  56. Upon arriving on Tython, Clappy was welcomed by the Jedi who showed no signs of hostility. They took him inside their temple and allowed a consular to take Clappy through their conversion process slowly healing his heart of darkness. Being converted allowed Clappy to start a new slate as a Jedi Padawan giving him the chance to redeem himself for his past actions. Clappy pocketed his old saber and was given a new one to signify his new life.
  57.
  58. While in the Jedi Order, Clappy joined the Vanguard, a group of Jedi warriors who used their strength to protect the weak from their oppressors. Clappy also met many new friends, the first being Jedi Padawan Rowe, who had an unusually large saber, and others like Jedi Knight Kyle Smith and Krimson Kebosmi.
  59.
  60. While studying in the Jedi Archives, Clappy came across records of his father who had been a Jedi Council member under the Grandmaster Shepard and Blade of The Order under Grandmaster Alexander Cadav but had died during a great battle on Kashyyyk sacrificing himself to save members of the order. While reading this Clappy finally understood who the voice from Ilum was.
  61.
  62. With his new master, Blade of The Order Anura Radsla, Clappy learned how to use the light side of the Force more effectively. While training with the light side of the Force, Clappy slowly began to lose the dark side temptation that lingered within his head allowing him to use his dark side abilities while maintaining greater control of himself.
  63.
  64. Clappy studied under the Jedi Order for a year as a padawan. However, no matter how hard he tried he could never fit in with the Jedi. Clappy realized the flaws in the Jedi code that the other Jedi had accepted without question. He disagreed with the decisions of the council and often left Tython by himself to deal with issues. He saw how certain members acted behind the back of the Council such as the Republic trooper Chaos Foss who tortured prisoners when no one was watching.
  65.
  66. To gain new members, the Jedi Order took young children with a high midi-chlorian count from their parents forcing them to join the order. These children were then taught the Jedi ways, the code and teachings drilled into the heads of these children every day. Clappy saw this as glorified brainwashing, these children had no choice in the matter and were not old enough to know better. These Jedi only had the order, being taken from their family at such a young age removed any bond they had to their families so when they grew up, they did not have any interest in returning to them. Although the goals of the Jedi were honorable, their methods of achieving this were not. Even though Clappy tried to ignore these issues, he knew the Jedi Order was not the place for him.
  67.
  68. Upon further studying in the archives, Clappy came across passages about the Gray Jedi. Individuals who had walked the line between light and dark but never fully succumbed to the temptations of the Dark Side. These force users distanced themselves from the Jedi Council but did not join the Sith Order, understanding that both codes had their flaws. Is this what Clappy had been looking for this whole time? Clappy took his fallen father’s lightsaber from the Jedi Archives and left for Tatooine where it all began.
