The exploits of a group of men and women who serve the City of New York as police officers, firemen, and paramedics in the fictional 55th Precinct.
Moving emotional, and controversial and words to describe this show. I am not a regular watcher, but almost every time I have, it has been worth it. The acting could be improved on, but not by much. The script and story line are well done, and although I might not always agree with the characters, they are rarely boring.
Maybe we could start writing to A&E (Arts and Entertainment) to keep up production of "Third Watch", since they saw fit to pick it up in reruns. They only carry the highest quality programming, quite evident by their choice to air "Third Watch" more than once a day. But then again, as much as I love the show, I would much rather see it go out in a blaze of glory with reruns available than to see the demise of the characters and contents through the years to come. NBC, shame on you! You had the best show in a Friday night slot. I wish the best for the cast and crew and look forward to seeing them on the small screen again real soon. Our thoughts are with you.
