Other Side of the Gate


(Scene starts on a map screen of a forest. All of the World 5 mechs are on the map.)

「う、うう…!」
Eunice: U-Ugh...!

デューク
「みんな、無事か!?」
Duke: Everyone, are you alright!?

ユキ
「は、はい…何とか…」
Yuki: Y-Yeah... Somehow...

韻子
「あ、あたし達、どうなったの…?」
Inko: W-What happened to us...?

伊奈帆
「…ユニスが言った通り、
時空跳躍に巻き込まれたみたいだ」
Inaho: ...If what Eunice said was correct, we appear to have been caught in a space-time leap.

伊奈帆
「その証拠に…ここは浜松じゃない」
Inaho: And our proof...is that we are no longer in Hamamatsu.

韻子
「! カーム達は!? わだつみは!?」
Inko: ! What about Kaim and the others!? And the Wadatsumi!?

伊奈帆
「ここにはいない」
Inaho: They aren’t here.

万丈
「跳ばされたのは、あの場にいた僕らだけか…」
Banjo: Then we were the only ones who leapt here...

韻子
「なら、ここはどこなの…!?」
Inko: Okay, but so where is “here” anyways...!?

伊奈帆
「空と太陽、周りの景色、大気成分から判断すると、
僕らがいた地球とは似て非なる所…」
Inaho: Judging from the sky, the sun, the surrounding landscape, and the composition of the atmosphere, this isn’t the Earth that we know...

伊奈帆
「つまり、並行世界の地球だと思う」
Inaho: In other words, I believe this is the Earth of a parallel world.

韻子
「そんな…あともう少しで、
わだつみと合流できるはずだったのに…」
Inko: Oh my God... And we were so close to meeting up with the Wadatasumi...

ユキ
「[ナオ君]、元の世界へ戻る方法は…」
Yuki: [Nao], to get back to our original world...

伊奈帆
「時空跳躍の発生条件は定かじゃない。
さっきのも何故あの時、あそこで
起きたのかわからない」
Inaho: We’re unsure of the conditions required for a space-time leap to occur. We don’t know why the last one happened either.

伊奈帆
「だから、現状じゃユニスやヒイロと同じく、
元の世界へ帰る方法はない」
Inaho: Which means we are now in the same situation as Eunice and Heero. We do not have a way to return to our original world.

ユニス
「ご、ごめんなさい…。
もしかしたら、あたしのせいかも…」
Eunice: S-Sorry... This might be all my fault...

万丈
「いや、君が謝る必要はないさ」
Banjo: No, there’s no need to apologize to us.

ヒイロ
「俺が自分の世界で遭遇した時空跳躍は、
お前と無関係だ」
Heero: The space-time leap I encountered in my world has no correlation to you.

ユニス
「だけど、浜松に残された人達は…」
Eunice: But, all the guys left behind in Hamamatsu...

万丈
「無事にわだつみと合流できたと信じよう」
Banjo: I’m sure they were able to meet up with the Wadatsumi safely.

伊奈帆
(僕達がいなくなったら、セラムさんは…。
彼女の正体を知っているライエは…)
Inaho: (What will happen to Asseylum while we’re gone...? Considering Rayet knows her true identity...)

伊奈帆
(いや、ここでそれを考えていても仕方がない。
元の世界へ帰る方法を探さなきゃ)
Inaho: (No, standing here thinking about it solves nothing. I need to find a way to return to my original world.)

万丈
「とりあえず、僕らが置かれている状況を把握しよう。
ここが並行世界の地球なら、似たような文明が
存在している可能性が高い」
Banjo: For the time being, let’s get a handle our situation. If this is a parallel world’s Earth, then chances are good that there’s a similar civilization living here.

万丈
「まずは機体をどこかに隠して、
見張りと調査メンバーを決めようか」
Banjo: Let’s start by concealing our machines and determining who will form the lookout and investigation teams.

デューク
「…万丈さん、彼はどうするんです?」
Duke: ...What about him, Banjo?

アキト
「………」
Akito: ...

万丈
「同じ境遇になったんだ、ご同道願いたいものだね。
君も僕らと同じく、自分の世界へ
戻らなきゃならないんだろう?」
Banjo: Now that we’re all in the same boat, I had hoped he’d join us. You need to return to your world just like the rest of us do, right?

アキト
「…そうだ」
Akito: ...That’s correct.

万丈
「なら、名前を聞かせてもらえないかい?
本物の幽霊じゃなければね」
Banjo: Then would you mind telling us your name? Assuming you’re not actually a ghost, that is.

アキト
「アキト…テンカワ・アキトだ」
Akito: Akito... Akito Tenkawa.

ヒイロ
(確か、その名は…)
Heero: (I know that name...)

(Eunice detects something.)

ユニス
「この反応…!
何かがこっちに近づいてきます!」
Eunice: I’ve got a reading...! Something’s coming our way!

(Amaso appears in his Genma Fortress.)

韻子
「な、何なの、あれ!?」
Inko: Wh-What is that thing!?

ユニス
「岩から竜が生えてる!」
Eunice: It’s a dragon sprouting out of a rock!

ユキ
「生物には見えないわね…」
Yuki: It doesn’t look like its organic...

伊奈帆
「これで、この世界に
文明が存在していることは確定した」
Inaho: This confirms the existence of civilization in this world.

デューク
「メカと生物の組み合わせか。円盤獣と似ているな」
Duke: A combination of mecha and flesh. It reminds me of a Saucer Beast.

ユニス
「もしかして、地球人が造った物じゃないの…?」
Eunice: Do you think Earthlings made it...?

(Haniwa Phantoms appear.)

ヒイロ
「…迎撃機か」
Heero: ...It’s an interception force.

万丈
「どうも歓迎されてなさそうな雰囲気だけど…
一応、こちらの意志を表明しておくか」
Banjo: I get the feeling we aren’t welcome here... But just in case, we should see if they’ll listen to us.

(The Haniwa Phantoms attack.)

ユキ
「!!」
Yuki: !!

万丈
「やれやれ、問答無用ってことか」
Banjo: Well, so much for that.

アマソ
「今のは警告だ!
生命が惜しければ、貴様らの機体を渡せ!」
Amaso: This is a warning! If you value your lives, hand over your machines!

ユキ
「日本語!?」
Yuki: He speaks Japanese!?

アマソ
「もう一度言うぞ! 貴様らの機体を明け渡せ!」
Amaso: I say again! Hand over your machines at once!

韻子
「ちょ、ちょっと!
いきなり何なのよ!?」
Inko: H-Hold on! Isn’t this a little too sudden!?

伊奈帆
「こっちの素性を確認せず、
機体の明け渡しを要求した」
Inaho: They didn’t bother to confirm our identities, but still demanded we hand over our machines.

伊奈帆
「あいつは見たことがない物を収集する役目を
持っているのか、あるいは…」
Inaho: Either that guy’s duty is to collect things he’s never seen before, or...

伊奈帆
「他の世界から来た者と
接触したことがあるのかも知れない」
Inaho: He may already know of people that come from other worlds.

韻子
「えっ…!?」
Inko: Eh...!?

万丈
「なるほど。即時撃破するわけでも、
投降を呼び掛けるわけでもなく、
機体を渡せと来たからね」
Banjo: I see. Because he didn’t attempt to destroy us right away, nor did he call for an immediate surrender. He wanted us to give our machines to him.

伊奈帆
「普通は疑問に思いますよ。
僕達のような統一感のない機体に
乗った集団を見たら」
Inaho: Normally, you would be suspicious of seeing our group of unaffiliated and varied machines all gathered together.

ユニス
「じゃあ…」
Eunice: Then...

伊奈帆
「かなりの確率で、この世界には
僕達と同じ身の上の人間がいると思う」
Inaho: I believe there’s a high probability that there are other people like us in this world.

伊奈帆
「あと、日本か…。
それに似た文明が存在していることもね」
Inaho: And a Japan as well. ...Or at least a civilization that is similar to it.

アマソ
「ふん、機体を渡すつもりはないか。
ならば、力尽くで手に入れてやるわ!」
Amaso: Hmph, so you will not surrender your machines. Then I will do everything in my power to take them!

万丈
「その手の脅しに屈しはしない!
みんな、行くぞ!」
Banjo: We won’t even flinch at a threat like that! Let’s go, everyone!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(This exchange triggers if Duke Fleed battles Amaso.)

デューク
「お前達にこのグレンダイザーを渡しはしない!」
Duke: You will never have Grendizer!

アマソ
「大口を叩きおって! 後悔させてやるぞ!」
Amaso: You can keep that big mouth of yours shut! You will regret your actions!

(This exchange triggers if Akito battles Amaso.)

アマソ
「どうやらスピードが自慢のようだが、
ちょこまかと動き回ったところでやられる
幻魔要塞ではないわ!」
Amaso: This machine seems to boast high speed, but it won’t put a scratch on a Genma Fortress by just moving around!

アキト
「…お前の相手をしている暇はない」
Akito: ...I don’t have time to deal with you.

(This exchange triggers if Inaho battles Amaso.)

アマソ
「そんな貧弱な機体で、
この幻魔要塞に勝てると思っているのか!」
Amaso: You think you can defeat a Genma Fortress with such a feeble machine!?

伊奈帆
(あれがこの世界の日本人だと
思いたくはないな)
Inaho: (I really hope this isn’t this world’s version of a Japanese person.)

(This exchange triggers if Inko battles Amaso.)

アマソ
「もう命乞いは通用せんぞ!」
Amaso: It’s too late to beg for your life!

韻子
「したところで、聞く気なんてないくせに!」
Inko: You wouldn’t have listened even if I did!

(This exchange triggers if Yuki battles Amaso.)

アマソ
「何者か知らんが、その機体をもらい受ける!」
Amaso: I don’t know what you are, but I will have that machine!

ユキ
(何者かって…それはこっちの台詞よ!)
Yuki: (Don’t know what I...? That’s my line!)

(This exchange triggers if Banjo battles Amaso.)

アマソ
「その機体、なかなかの力を持っているようだな。
手に入れれば、ヒミカ様もさぞ喜ばれることだろう!」
Amaso: This machine seems to possess considerable power. Lady Himika will no doubt be pleased to receive it!

万丈
(ヒミカ…
組織立った連中であることは間違いなさそうだな)
Banjo: (Himika... So this bunch has a hierarchy of some sort.)

(This exchange triggers if Eunice battles Amaso.)

アマソ
「フフフ…
その機体の能力は、だいたいわかっておるぞ!」
Amaso: Heh heh heh... I have a pretty good idea of what that machine can do already!

ユニス
「!
グラフディンを見たことがあるのね!
いつ、どこで!?」
Eunice: ! You’ve seen a Grafdin before!? When, where!?

アマソ
「素直に教えると思っているのか、愚か者め!」
Amaso: You think I would just tell you that, fool!?

(This exchange triggers if Heero battles Amaso.)

アマソ
「その機体…もしや、奴らの仲間か!?」
Amaso: That machine... Are you one of their allies!?

ヒイロ
(もしや、モビルスーツ…
ガンダムを知っているのか?)
Heero: (Does he know about Mobile Suits? Or rather, of Gundams?)

(Battle 1 ends when Amaso’s HP falls below 40%.)

アマソ
「ぬうう、やはり並行世界のロボットは侮れぬ…!
ならば!」
Amaso: Nugh! I knew I shouldn’t take parallel world robots lightly...! That’s why I have these!

(More Haniwa Phantoms appear.)

万丈
「…一気に勝負をかけず、
こっちを消耗させる気みたいだね」
Banjo: ...It’s like he’s trying to wear us down rather than take us out all at once.

ユキ
「補給の目処が立っていないのに、
持久戦に持ち込まれたら…」
Yuki: If we end up in a war of attrition with no way to resupply...

(Eunice detects something.)

ユニス
「大きな熱源反応が4つ、接近してきます!」
Eunice: Four big heat sources are heading this way!

万丈
「連中の増援だったら、まずいな」
Banjo: If it’s reinforcements of theirs, then this could get ugly.

ユニス
「いえ、違います!
[MART]の識別信号を受信しました!」
Eunice: No, it’s not! I’m getting a [MART] identification signal!

万丈
「MART? それじゃあ…」
Banjo: MART? Then that means...

(Londo Bell appears.)

韻子
「空を飛ぶ戦艦…!」
Inko: Those battleships are flying...!

ユニス
「間違いない!
あの艦にはあたしの仲間が乗ってる!!」
Eunice: Those ships have my friends on them! I’m sure of it!!


(Scene ends.)

(Next scene picks up where it left off.)


メグ
「ユニス、聞こえる!? 返事をして!!」
Meg: Eunice, can you hear me!? Respond!!

ユニス
「メグ!!」
Eunice: Meg!!

リナリア
「ユニス、無事。感無量…!」
Rinalia: Eunice, safe. So happy...!

ユニス
「リナリアも!?」
Eunice: Rinalia’s there too!?

メグ
「私達だけじゃないの。
サキミやユンナ、マイコ、それにディド…
ディーダリオンもいるわ」
Meg: It’s not just us. Sakimi, Yunna, Maiko and Dido—Er, Didarion are here too.

ユニス
「異世界に跳ばされて、すぐにみんなと会えるなんて…
ついてるじゃない、あたし!」
Eunice: I can’t believe I leapt to a different world and ran into everyone right away... How lucky can I be!?

ユキ
「…ナオ君の予想が当たったわね」
Yuki: ...You hit the nail on the head, Nao.

伊奈帆
「手放しで喜べるかどうか、まだわからないけど」
Inaho: I’m not ready to celebrate just yet however.

万丈
「少なくとも、この危機は乗り越えられそうだ」
Banjo: If nothing else, it looks like we’ll be able to make it through this crisis.

アマソ
「ええい、鋼鉄ジーグとその仲間が現れるとは!
こうなったら、奴らだけでも!」
Amaso: Bah, Steel Jeeg and his cohorts have arrived! If it’s come down to this, I’ll at least get them!

(Amaso fires on the World 5 gang.)

ユキ
「くうっ!」
Yuki: Ugh!

万丈
「ふん、初志貫徹ってわけか」
Banjo: Hmph, so he’s still intent on taking our machines, is he.

ブライト
「こちらは地球連邦軍ロンド・ベル隊の
ブライト・ノア大佐だ。
これより諸君らを支援する」
Bright: This is Captain Bright Noa, of the Earth Federation’s Londo Bell forces. We will assist you.

万丈
「感謝します、大佐」
Banjo: Most appreciated, Captain.

ブライト
「各機はMART所属機他を救出しろ!」
Bright: All units, rescue the MART unit and the ones around it!

(The player’s team deploys.)

鋼鉄ジーグ
「アマン、お前らの思い通りにはさせないぜ!」
Steel Jeeg: You won’t get away with this, Amaso!

アマソ
「ええい、手ぶらでは帰れん!
何としても奴らの機体を手に入れねば!」
Amaso: Agh! I will not return empty-handed! I will have those machines, by any means necessary!

(Battle 2 begins.)

(Battle 2 ends when Amaso is defeated.)

アマソ
「お、おのれ! この借りは必ず返してくれる!」
Amaso: C-Curse you! I swear to repay this disgrace!

(Amaso leaves the map.)

鋼鉄ジーグ
「ヘッ、その手の捨て台詞は聞き飽きたぜ」
Steel Jeeg: Heh, you know, I’m getting real tired of hearing that line.

甲咒
「同感、同感」
Koji: I know, right?

デューク
「…万丈さん、彼ら全てが同じ世界から
来たわけじゃなさそうですね」
Duke: ...Banjo, it looks like they don’t all come from the same world.

万丈
「ああ、僕ら以上の混在感だ」
Banjo: Yeah, I get the impression they’re even more diverse than we are.

ヒイロ
「しかも、ガンダムらしき機体もいる」
Heero: And they have machines that appear to be Gundams.

伊奈帆
「それは僕も気になっていた。
複数の並行世界にはいくつか共通点があるみたいだ」
Inaho: That stood out to me as well. It appears parallel universes have a number of similarities.

万丈
(僕らのような存在が集まったのは
ただの偶然じゃないだろう…)
Banjo: (I doubt it’s just a coincidence that we’ve all gathered here...)

万丈
(彼らが時空跳躍に関する情報を
少しでも多く持っていると思いたいね)
Banjo: (They may be able to tell us a lot more about space-time leaps.)

Setsuna: A Gundam with angel wings...

「いったい、どれだけの世界に
いくつのガンダムが存在しているんだ?」
Lockon: Just how many Gundams are out there in these other worlds?

アレルヤ
「さあ…見当が付かないね」
Allelujah: Who knows...? I couldn’t even hazard a guess at this point.

カミーユ
「わざわざラー・カイラムまで…。
あのガンダムが気になるんですね」
Kamille: You guys took the time to come to the Ra Cailum for this... You must be pretty interested in that Gundam.

ロックオン
「そういうお前達もだろう?」
Lockon: What, and you guys aren’t?

バナージ
「ええ、まあ」
Banagher: Well, yeah.

カミーユ
「キラは来ていないんですか?」
Kamille: Kira isn’t coming?

ロックオン
「ああ、声は掛けたんだがな」
Lockon: Yeah, though we did try to talk to him.

カミーユ
「そうですか…」
Kamille: I see...

刹那
「それで、あのガンダムのパイロットは?」
Setsuna: So who is the pilot of that Gundam?

(Heero approaches.)

ヒイロ
「…俺だ」
Heero: ...Me.

刹那
「………」
Setsuna: ...

ロックオン
「あ、お前、また…」
Lockon: Come on, you’re doing this again...?

ヒイロ
「何か用か?」
Heero: Do you need something?

刹那
「お前は何故、戦っている?」
Setsuna: Why do you fight?

ヒイロ
「自分の世界へ戻るためだ」
Heero: To return to my own world.

刹那
「戻ったら、そこでもガンダムで戦うのか?」
Setsuna: If you return, will you still fight with Gundam?

ヒイロ
「必要があるならな」
Heero: If it is necessary.

刹那
「なくなれば、どうする?」
Setsuna: If isn’t necessary, what will you do?

ヒイロ
「ゼロを自爆させる」
Heero: Self-destruct Zero.

刹那
「………」
Setsuna: ...

ヒイロ
「平和が続くなら、
俺やガンダムのような存在は不要だからな」
Heero: If peace will last, then there will be no need for things like Gundam and myself.

(Heero leaves.)

アレルヤ
「行ってしまったね…」
Allelujah: There he goes...

ロックオン
「どことなく刹那と感じが似てるな」
Lockon: He kind of has the same feeling as Setsuna.

刹那
「………」
Setsuna: ...

ティエリア
「平和が続くなら、か」
Tieria: “If peace will last”, huh.

バナージ
「彼の世界では、それが実現できるんでしょうか」
Banagher: I wonder if that’s really possible in his world.

カミーユ
「あの口ぶりじゃ、難しそうだが…
そういう世界も存在すると信じたいな」
Kamille: It’s hard to say... But I want to believe that it is.

バナージ
「…そうですね」
Banagher: ...Yeah.

(Koji and others are talking elsewhere.)

甲児
「どうやらあっちはガンダムのパイロット同士で
交流してるみてえだな」
Koji: Looks like the Gundam pilots are getting to know each other over there.

万丈
「じゃあ、こっちも自己紹介をしようか。
僕の名前は破嵐万丈。ダイターン3のパイロットだ」
Banjo: Then let’s do the same. My name is Banjo Haran. I pilot Daitarn 3.

甲児
「ああ、あのデカいロボット。
紅蓮弐式やスコープドッグで
中に乗り込んで動かせそうだぜ」
Koji: Ah, that enormous robot. I bet the Guren Mk-II and the Scopedog could even move around inside it.

明
「そんなの、面倒なだけだろうが」
Akira: Wouldn’t that seriously screw it up?

甲児
「たとえ話だよ。それだけ大きいってこった」
Koji: It’s a metaphor. That’s just how huge that sucker is.

ユキ
「…私は地球連合軍の界塚ユキ准尉。
[カタフラクト]のパイロットを務めています。
こちらが弟の伊奈帆と、その同級生の網文韻子訓練生」
Yuki: ...I’m Warrant Officer Yuki Kaizuka, with the United Forces of Earth. I’m in service as a [Kataphrakt] pilot. This is my brother Inaho, and this is his classmate, Trainee Inko Amifumi.

めぐみ
「訓練生…」
Megumi: Trainee...?

一平
「なら、まだ軍人じゃないのか」
Ippei: Then you’re still not a soldier?

韻子
「そうなんだけど…」
Inko: Well yeah, but...

伊奈帆
「非常事態で僕らもカタフラクトで戦うことになった」
Inaho: The state of emergency lead to us fighting with Kataphraktos.

ユキ
「出来れば、そうさせたくなかったわ」
Yuki: Although I wouldn’t have let it happen if I could.

伊奈帆
「判断は臨機応変…
いざとなれば、自分を信じて行動する。
僕は、ユキ姉が言ってたことを実行したんだ」
Inaho: “Be adaptable with your judgment, and when it comes down to it, trust your own decisions.” I just did what you said to, Yuki.

ユキ
「そうだけど…」
Yuki: Yeah, I know...

万丈
「伊奈帆が立ててくれた作戦で
何度かピンチを脱することが出来たんだ。
僕は感謝してるよ」
Banjo: The tactics Inaho comes up with have saved us from more than a few close calls. I’m grateful to him.

ユニス
「あたしもです」
Eunice: Me too.

豹馬
「…で、あそこにある黄色い角のロボットは?」
Hyoma: ...So, what about the robot with yellow horns over there?

宙
「カラーリングがマジンガーZや
グレートマジンガーと似てるな」
Hiroshi: Its color scheme resembles Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger.

豹馬
「でも、あいつは余所の世界のロボットだろ?」
Hyoma: But, that robot’s from another world, right?

ショウ
「世界が違っても、雰囲気が似ている
ガンダムという例もあるからな」
Show: The Gundams have already set a precedent about being from different worlds but having similarities.

鉄也
「もしかして、並行世界のマジンガーか?」
Tetsuya: Would that make this a parallel world Mazinger?

大介
「違う。
グレンダイザーは俺の母星…フリード星の守護神だ」
Daisuke: No. Grendizer is my home planet’s—Planet Freed’s—Guardian God.

甲児
「母星って…」
Koji: Home planet, huh...

健一
「あなたは地球人じゃないんですね」
Kenichi: That means you’re not from Earth then.

大介
「そう。俺の名はデューク・フリード。
母星をベガ星連合に滅ぼされ、グレンダイザーで
地球へ逃げ延びて来た」
Daisuke: That’s right. My name is Duke Fleed. When my home planet was destroyed by the Vegan Empire, I escaped to Earth with Grendizer.

大介
「それからは宇門大介と名乗っている」
Daisuke: Since then, I’ve gone by the name Daisuke Umon.

甲児
「じゃあ、どっちの名前で呼べばいいんだ?」
Koji: Then what name should we call you?

大介
「この姿でいる時は、大介でいい」
Daisuke: When I look like this, Daisuke is fine.

甲児
「わかったぜ、大介さん」
Koji: You got it, Mr. Daisuke.

大介
「………」
Daisuke: ...

甲児
「ん?
俺より年上みてえだから、さんを付けたんだけど…
まずかったか?」
Koji: Hm? You looked older than me, so I just figured I’d go with Mr... Should I not?

大介
「いや、そうじゃなくて…
君達から見れば、俺は異星人だ。
抵抗はないのか?」
Daisuke: No, that’s not it... It’s just that from your perspective, I should be considered an alien. Don’t you have a problem with that?

甲児
「まあ、宇宙人を見るのは初めてじゃねえし…
俺達の仲間にもいるからな」
Koji: Well it’s not like you’re the first alien I’ve seen... A couple of them are buddies of mine.

大介
「本当なのか…!?」
Daisuke: Really...!?

豹馬
「ああ、イサリビにいるエイジとキリコだ。
もっとも、エイジは地球人とグラドス人の
ハーフだけどよ」
Hyoma: Yeah, there’s Eiji and Chirico over on the Isaribi. Although Eiji is half-Gradosian and half-Earthling.

韻子
「ええっ!?」
Inko: For real!?

健一
「俺もその話を聞いた時は驚いたけど…
星は違っても、同じ人間だということなんだろう」
Kenichi: I was surprised when I first heard about it myself but... Well, even though they’re from different planets, they’re still just people like us.

伊奈帆
(それだけで説明が付くとは思えない。
何か重大な秘密があるんじゃないだろうか)
Inaho: (I can’t imagine that’s the only explanation for the similarities. It feels like there’s something more to it than that.)

大介
「…出来れば、その二人と会って話がしたい」

Banjo: And there’s the [Megaborgs]... To put it simply, they view themselves as chosen ones, determined to change humanity into cyborgs. They’re allied with the Vers Empire.

俺達の世界より対立構図がシンプルだな」
Benkei: Earth and Mars, huh. It’s a much simpler conflict than the one in our world.

「ところが、そこにベガ星連合という異星人が現れ、
地球への侵攻を開始したんです」
Banjo: Unfortunately, I’m not done. Shortly after that, aliens known as the Vegan Empire appeared and began their invasion of Earth.

Daisuke: The ones that have come to Earth so far are no more than the Vegan Empire’s greeting party... Eventually, they’ll send a massive army like they did when they destroyed my home, Planet Fleed.

Inaho: It’s just the conclusion I came to by looking at what was inside of this ship’s hanger. Although, my Sleipnir is just a training machine with nothing special about it.

It is composed of research teams and armed forces from America, Great Britain and Japan.

Short for "Dominant Trooper", the general term for the humanoid mobile weapons developed by MART.
They were developed by combining the overtechnology acquired from the alien battleship Eltsad with data from the humanoid weapon Merafdin, found in the same vessel. It should be noted that the rest of the world is unaware of the existence of DTs.

They were first developed by the Vers Empire, when reforming planetary work robots into weapons.
There is a great difference in performance between Earth's and Mars's Kataphraktos, due to Martian Kataphraktos being equipped with Aldnoah Drives, which enables just 1 machine to be powerful enough to sway the flow of battle.
