  1. Kong Religion -
  2.
  3. The kong worship one deity and that is the first kong to have existed, supposedly born from legendary stones that each contained the power of the elements, upon the top of the tallest mountain in the north of the Jade Jungle, on the far continent of Wuxia. These stones formed the statue of a monkey and when dawn's golden light shone upon them the statue came to life , this was the birth of Wukong, the monkey king.

  5. It is said that Wukong ventured down into the Jade jungle and taught the other apes of enlightenment and the path towards it. Obtaining a perfect mind and body. From this their sacred martial arts style was born, Monks of the kong race still practice this style to date. It is said that Wukong reached enlightenment upon his death, as his fur turned a radiant luminous gold, when he gave up his soul and ki to the jungle, granting the apes greater intelligence, to become born in his image. Kongs believe that if they have lived a good and fulfilling life, reaching perfect mind and body, then they will return to Wukong in the afterlife and become one with him, if they do not they will be reincarnate and will have to start again to achieve that goal.

  7. The many kong tribes live as equals but also with a divide. The Highborns are said to be pure souls and poses the spiritual soul of Wukong, but must achieve this through trials. This tradition has been passed on for generations and is still carried out today by the Kong people. They say once the Sage can attain the Golden 'enlightened' form, then he is worthy of guiding the tribe.
