Getting 5 stars is kind of a endgame problem and can flick from 4.8 to 5.0 sometimes. But lets get to the point. (Please let me know if i got something wrong) SERVICE RATING
Waiter politness - Make sure your waiters are happy, buy alot of them. They cannot be overworked. Avarage time to get served - Make sure you have enough waiters to serve customers quickly. Dont make the kitchen and dining area too far. Waiters need to quickly get to the customers. Avarage time to get food - The same as the previous explanation. Try getting more chefs.
FOOD RATING
Cooking quality - Make the chefs happy. More chefs give higher happiness. Also, use advanced recipes which not only give money boosts, but also help you highen this point. Chef skill - Chefs need to be ATLEAST level 10 to upgrade your restaurant. This also is affected by their happiness. Food choice - Get alot of foods on your menu. If you cant get more, try getting a higher level yourselves. The ice cream stand, smoothie bar, and pizza stand ALSO HELP and are a NECCESITY for this rating. DESING RATING Resaurant value - Make the restaurant have alot of upgrades such as: baby chairs, delivery, etc. Have a high restaurant value (atleast 15k) Decorative items - Use alot of items from the Decorations category. Restaurant size - Have the 1 2 and 3 Size upgrades, the second floor and the MEGA upgrade.
EXPERIENCE RATING
Music - Buy expensive music for diamonds in the store. Drinks - Get alot of drinks. Smoothie bar helps. Entertaining items - Get items from the electronics subcategory like clocks, TV's etc. POPULARITY RATING
Kid friendly - Get kids meals and the baby chairs upgrade. Restaurant capacity - Make alot of tables and chairs for customers. Ordering options - Get the Delivery and Drive thru upgrades. ECO RATING Nature - Have alot of plants in your restaurant. If you have an outdoor, use grass items on empty places. Bathrooms - Have tidy bathrooms with correct equipment. Cleaniness - Make waiters collect dishes fast. (I think)
How to get 5 stars in restaurant tycoon 2
I am going to do more testing on this eventually, but from my experience so far, if you have all these things you should get 5 Stars: 7 Unique Roller Coasters 7 Unique Gentle Rides 7 Unique Intense Rides 3 of each type of stall (except restrooms, 6 of these) Obviously all rides need to be open, all paths need to connect, bins should be placed to stop guests from leaving trash, and adequate seating. Things that don't affect the park rating: Lighting, color of things, path types, props, primitives, water, nature, non-ride structures (walls etc).
It is possible that Park value affects the park rating but I don't know how. And it is obviously possible to achieve 5 stars without all these things, just if you have them there is almost no way you won't have 5 stars
