- Background: Jessica Grace Duggar was born in Vancouver, the second child of three children born to a Caucasian father and a Korean mother. She had an older brother and a younger sister. From a young age, she enjoyed music and sports. She was extremely good at badminton, taekwondo and sprinting, and playing the guitar. She was a bit of an outcast, because she didn't like shopping and flirting like the other girls. For many years, most of her close friends were boys. She was bullied a lot, and took great comfort in music. She composed her first rap after she had been harshly bullied by a classmate.
