  1. SORCHA, THE FLOWER MONK
  2. Orgone Mystic, aggressive philosopher.
  3. Chaotic neutral, probably.
  4. Her background will be based on THE FOLK HERO because she's not the sort of monk who lives on a mountain.
  5. When she's not punching people, she's swordpunching them with katar.
  6.

  13.
  14. "A flower will always choose to be beautiful.
  15. Rose, daisy, lavender...
  16. No matter what, it's the essential nature of flowers!"
  17.
  18. Sorcha has three rules in life:
  19.
  20. First, eat what you kill.
  21. Potential is wasted on the dead!
  22. And meat will rot in a coffin!
  23. The flowers have taught us correct action. It is right and good to grow over the dead. They're not using their bodies any more, anyway.
  24.
  25. Second, greet people with an open mind.
  26. It's possible they know something you don't!
  27. Your best conversations might be locked away in your worst enemies!
  28. The flowers have taught us correct action. Don't be picky about who you grow beside. They might just make you look even more beautiful.
  29.
  30. Third, proceed with ferocity.
  31. Speak with conviction!
  32. Strike with certainty!
  33. The flowers have taught us correct action. Never hesitate along your path. Spread your roots and spread your petals, and take from the earth and the sun.
  34.
  35. With these three rules, the Monk of Flowers is an interesting woman to know. From the floral realm of Musicant, she is an Orgone with energy to spare: she is gregarious and friendly, even towards other races, though her forward personality has an offputtingly forward sense of /mystic/ to it.
  36.
  37. Sorcha is a woman who emphasises respect for the other person's point of view: she'll happily ask someone about what they think, and even why they think it, but she'll rarely try to change their mind. Of course, she'll speak of her own worldview just as boldly. (Perhaps she's a bit of an attention hog? /Orgones./)
  38.
  39. This, of course, also applies when the situation turns to violence. Though she'll happily keep an open line of communication, if someone has decided on a course which will put them in opposition to her, she'll dispatch them mercilessly -- even if they were her friend. No -- friends she would dispatch with even more conviction! Because if she values someone, surely she also values their worldview; and if they have decided to take an action which she must oppose, she would consider it an utmost act of disrespect to beg them to change.
  40.
  41. Violence is something she approaches with casual flair; she's comfortable with it, and she recognises that sometimes, her choices simply won't align with everyone else's. That's okay! It's also okay to fight someone who is your friend, even if you kill them, because disagreeing on one issue doesn't invalidate all the good times you had before. Likewise, if an enemy decides to alter their course, Sorcha will happily let them go; she doesn't hold grudges with those she happens to fight.
  42.
  43. Strangely enough, considering the rumours which might pop up about mystics here and there in the fairytales of other races, Sorcha holds very few grudges. A grudge, after all, assumes a tight hold on the past -- something Sorcha abjures by her very nature. Morg is her god, perhaps purely because His hedonism matches her own laid-back nature -- if He ever got a stick up His ass, she'd probably just move on.
