- - HA route: Swap HA to slot 1 on L9 Weedle (or earlier)
- - MP route: Don't swap, then teach MP over Leer
- - Thrash in slot 2 (over Tackle)
- - Bubblebeam in slot 4 (over PS)
- - Thunderbolt in slot 3 (over Leer/HA)
- - Rock Slide in slot 1 (over HA/MP); if Drilling Lavender Rival, teach in slot 2 (over Thrash)
- - Drill in slot 1 (over HA or RS)
- - EQ in slot 2 (over Thrash or RS)
- - Blizzard in slot 4 (over BB)
- This move order allows you to keep Poison Sting, which can save animation time on Machop, Geodude, Goldeen, Starmie, Pidgeotto, Raticate, Kadabra and Ivysaur. Average time save is roughly 0.3 seconds. There are no other significant changes.
