PERSONALITY;

-CARELESS;
xiangyi lived a simple life. his foster parents were never there to give him the happiness or care he craved for so he decided to follow his own path. he started to flunk classes and could care less about his grades because no one seemed to think his existence was important enough, so why should he.

-IRRITATING;
this boy’s cup of tea isn’t the liquid itself, it’s the pure satisfaction of his victims’ irritated faces and the curses they throw at him. he’s the son of loki, what more would you expect? he'll annoy you to your death, literally.

-PESSIMISTIC;
being a demigod would have their own pros and cons but yi saw more cons than pros. it was just another gentle reminder he was different than the rest of him classmates and no one would accept his ‘race’ into the world.

-BIPOLAR;
he didn’t know what he wanted in life. he could simple be rude to others and he’d brush it off without a sweat. but other times he wanted to push aside the fact he wasn’t the same as the rest and give them and himself a chance.

-NARCISSIST;
since he was mostly by himself for his life, he thought everything revolved around him and simply didn't care for the people around him.

-EMOTIONALLY UNAVAILABLE;
xian has created barriers around himself ever since he was young. he makes an effort to never show any of his emotions and this trait just makes him unapproachable.

 ↘ DARK SIDE; in his dark form, his pain and sadness surge through his body and makes xiang have an undying thirst for blood and death. his sadistic side will make its presence known any opportunity it’s given. he loves to look into the depths of his enemies worst nightmares and transform into the cruel monsters that they hope to never see. in this period, he only releases his true face and long, dark horns erupt from the sides of his head (not like the helmet loki wore). his pupils are replaced by the colour black which makes him appear that he’s lost all sanity and his sickly chuckle mean’s you better start running. he rarely shows his dark side but once he's in it, it's hard to snap him out of it.

BACKSTORY; xiangyi was dropped off at an adoption centre at the age of 2 and the faint remembrance of his mother’s red stilettos clicking still gives him shudders. on his 5th birthday, the centre was closed due to insufficient funds to keep it running and was forced to travel over 1,300 miles to south korea to be fostered by a family of 3. he was filled with pure excitement but was soon left to disappointment. xiangyi was one of those little kids who believed in the workers fantasies and tales of others before him getting adopted and that he should be grateful, but did he have to be?

his new 'parents' weren't welcoming and they didn't even try to cover the disgust in their eyes. he was unaware at their stares and skipped happily into the apartment. they already had a daughter who wasn’t as better as them. she appeared to be at least 4 years older than him and she didn’t seem to acknowledge him when’s he arrived. xiang thought of millions of excuses to cover up their peculiar behaviour but deep down he knew they didn't want him. even if he was young, he could understand when something was right or wrong.

of course the two didn't physically abuse him but maybe verbally or by their actions. they doted their true child and would shower her with love and affection. they showed the difference between the two and would often remind xiangyi that he was just a fostered child who would soon leave them. it never happened but he really did want their wish come true. at 11, he found out his power to shape shift and it overwhelmed him to the point he changed identities every time of the day. xian had told one of his friends at his school and it spread everywhere. no one wanted to approach him not even his own teachers who was to show him support.

he didn't think anything was wrong about himself and he blamed it on them instead of his self. xiangyi didn't show his true identity ever since and that was when his carelessness kicked in. school was just another thing that showed if you truly cared about your future or not and ying made it clear he did not care one bit. he played cruel tricks on his classmates such as: shredding their homework at break, hiding their belonging where it would never be seen again and once he shaved off someone's hair when they were sleeping because he they didn't stop teasing xiangyi was different than everyone.

at 13, ying had noticed strange occurences happening to him as every alleyway he went into, a strange beast was waiting for him. it didn't stop and deep down he was scared.

 ↘ REASON FOR COMING TO THUNDERCLAP; he researched solutions to what he was facing and the number one search was camp thunderclap. he had to either get an invitation or be stupid enough to come across it. he wasn't the smartest tool in the shed so he did just that. he had skipped a day off school and wandered around his local are and his feet didn't stop walking until he came face-to-face with a shady forest.

jungwoo judges from xiangyi’s looks that he’ll just be the same as lucas who annoys him. but let’s be honest, no one knows what xiangyi looks like.

OC'S FIRST IMPRESSION;
“damn he's strong"
the first time xiangyi saw jungwoo was in the 1v1. he was extremely strong and xiang admired that bit of him. jungwoo was the definition of UWU until you see him fight.

RELATIONSHIP;
  ↘ BEGINNING;
  while jungwoo is interacting with the rest of the demigods, he notices xiangyi is one of the people he hasn’t talked to at all but he doesn’t mind it.

↘ MIDDLE;
jungwoo takes it upon himself to get know xiangyi since he’s one of the campers which seems ‘too edgy to have friends’. as he approached the said boy, it’s devastatingly awkward since ying hasn’t had a proper conversation with someone in a while. even after this event, jungwoo still takes it upon himself to get to know xiang, which makes the other grow feelings but it’s overwhelming him instead.

↘ END;
 xiangyi distances himself again because of this and jungwoo gets a bit furious. he demands answers from the latter and ying gets flustered and accidentally spill out his feelings.
