  21. Anchor text spam.
  22.
  23. Check the archive.org and look what type of content and interlinking has been done.
  24.
  25. Check The Who.is data for long periods of a domain not being used. Domain parking is normal and okay, though.
  26.
  27. Also checking for a previous indexed version of the website. “Site:Domainname.com”.
  28.
  29. Also a google search for: “Domainname.com” to see what comes up.
  30. First thing I do is check in way back machine and then proceed to make full check. No easy way here, you need to check a few things to make sure it is penalized or not.
  31. use this one to check the domain Penalized
  32. search for your site in google like this
  33.
  34. 1. mysite.com -- if you see it within the first couple pages... usually okay, just means you need to brand yourself better if you're not ranking higher.
  35.
  36. 2. mysite com -- remove the . (dot) and if you're not within the top couple pages you got some issues.
  37.
  38. Now if you just started then give it more time, but if you're looking to buy a PBN or website domain then this could be bad news and to stay away from it.
  39.
  40. The mysite com is a boss technique and works very very well.

  75. Collecting ‘Log Files’
  76.
  77. Collecting log files can sometimes be an issue due to a number of factors such as:
  78.
  79. Important internal security and infosec gatekeepers.
  80. Platform incapabilities.
  81. Some development teams just not collecting or storing logs at all.
  82. Using edge workers, we can collect a form of server logfile by registering and logging the request.

  84. Getting Started with Edge SEO: What You Need to KnowSloth.Cloud Dashboard for Log File Collection
  85. Through tools such as Sloth, log file collection into an Amazon S3 bucket is made simpler. It also allows for collection in tools such as LogDNA, for export and analysis in other third-party tools.
  86.
  87. Further, this solution allows for log collection on Salesforce CommerceCloud/Demandware websites – unfortunately not for Shopify websites.
  88.
  89. In theory, it should work. However, the relationship between Shopify and Cloudflare went “grey cloud” in early 2020. This means it’s not possible to use Cloudflare Workers for any edge SEO purpose on the platform.
  90.
  91. The advent of Akamai Edge Workers might, however, provide an alternate route.

  101. Cost-effective in comparison to other tools such as Distilled ODN, which has the capability to perform edge SEO tasks while being designed as a testing tool than an implementation tool.
