Be a stray fluffy.

You used to have a Daddy, but he abandoned you when he moved.

One night, shivering in the cold, you see flappy things moving in and out of a small cave opening in the side of a
rocky hill.

Birdies?

Maybe they will be your friends.

You walk into the little cave, hoping that perhaps it will be warm, and you will be welcomed by the birds there.

Horrible squeaking and squealing ensues, and the things bite you!

You run crying into the night. Meanie night birdies!

About a week later, you have nearly forgotten about the whole incident. Most of the bites are small and healed
rapidly.

All except for one.

It tingles and feels hot.

You really don't know what to make of it.

After a few more days, you start to feel hot all over.

And your body aches.

And you don't feel like eating anymore.

You find a shady tree and lie under it. The sun is just...too bright.

What is happening to you?!

You don't like it!

The sun! It must be the meanie sun making you feel bad! You furiously demand that the sun stop hurting you, but you
are met with mocking laughter from the sky.

Everything is too bright, too intense.

You see a herd of fluffies, but when you walk from the shade to go talk to them, they aren't there.

The sun is clearly trying to trick you. You return to the shade.

You are so scared and confused. You even made scaredy poopies.

You try to kick and bite at things that aren't even there.

Finally, your back limbs lock up. You can only drag yourself by your front limbs.

You see a fluffy dragging itself by its front limbs in front of a tree.

You walk over to investigate.

There is a human approaching.

"Fwuffy...haf...sickies..." you manage to croak out through your dry, cracked lips.

Holy shit, what the hell is wrong with this animal?!

You take out your water bottle and remove the cap.

"Here little guy, have some water." you offer, thinking it must be dehydrated.

Water?

You attempt to drink, but your throat seizes up painfully. Panic fills your heart and you again shit yourself in
fear.

You stagger back from the bottle, excruciating spasms torturing you, and your salivary glands kick into overdrive,
creating tremendous amounts of saliva. You can't swallow, so foam begins to fleck your mouth, and then drip from it.

Oh no.

You know what's wrong now.

and you know what you have to do.

Be the fluffy.

The last thing you see in your haze of heat, pain, and confusion is a boot coming down.

The loud crack of your own neck is the final thing you hear before your pain finally ends.
