  2. TrulHost has connected.
  3. Kaorin Sakura has connected.
  4. Avara has connected.
  5. Chloe has connected.
  6. Avara: ... fuck. forgot about the sprite work 'cause of working on moving from house to house.
  7. Kaorin Sakura: No worries. Trul can still just use the filler sprite.
  8. Kaorin Sakura: It's filler. It'll fill the filler fill role for as long as filler is needed.
  9. DNA: But it's still half emtpy.
  10. DNA: empty even
  11. Eclipse has connected.
  12. DNA: ah crap I need gdocs open again
  13. DNA: I've updated my box.
  14. DNA: So, are we all ready?
  15. Kaorin Sakura: I am when you guys are.
  16. Kaorin Sakura: READY CHECK
  17. Kaorin Sakura: Sound off!
  18. TrulHost: OFF!
  19. DNA: ONE, TWO...
  20. Chloe Blanchett: ready!
  21. Avara: yar
  22. Kaorin Sakura: Alright.
  23. Kaorin Sakura: Huh. I seem to have lost my Chronicler token.
  24. DNA: hehehe, Chronicler
  25. Kaorin Sakura: And found it.
  26. Chronicler: Last we left our heroes they had just rested up for the night in the presence of the three sisters. They had recently encountered a new companion and were licking their wounds. The day begins in the early morning with clear weather just outside of the cave. The temperature is 38 degrees F and considering it was just recently hailing, that's pretty warm.
  27. DNA: I would kill for 38F.
  28. Chloe Blanchett: ((It's that cold? Also it doesn't hail when it's cold...))
  29. TrulHost: ((it can, just rare))
  30. Chronicler: The three sisters are wide awake as you awaken and were also wide awake when you went to sleep. You're certain they just don't sleep.
  31. * Saturn Rosewell is somewhat used to being this cold. Somewhat. She did live downwind from a volcano before, but this is still a bit colder still.
  32. Chronicler: (( It only hails where I am in winter when it hits below 35F. ))
  33. DNA: It never hails where I am.
  34. DNA: It never anythings where I am, though...
  35. Chloe Blanchett: ((Which is weird. Hail has nothing to do with temp. In fact if the ice doesn't thaw and refreeze in the cloud, hail can't form. ))
  36. Chronicler: (( I'm used to hailing and cold going hand in hand. And it's usually colder after it hails. ))
  37. Avara: it rarely hails over here, but when it does it's cold
  38. Chronicler: (( We also get flash storms and what-not so maybe my experiences isn't what I should go off of. ))
  39. DNA: "I don't always hail, but when I do, it's to derail a game."
  40. Chronicler: (( Pfft, DNA ))
  41. DNA: thank you I'll be here all night
  42. Avara: i hope so
  43. Chloe Blanchett: (( Cold fronts are the most violent of storms, and a storm needs to be pretty big for the wind to keep the water in the air long enough. And it's always colder after a cold front passes, hence the name))
  44. Saturn Rosewell: "Can we stop thinking about how cold it is? We're not going to get any warmer if we don't start moving soon..."
  45. Valerie Ylsef: "Jordy keeps me plenty warm."
  46. Saturn Rosewell: "Yeah, but even despite that it's still pretty freaking cold."
  47. Rochette: "It'd be nice to get going, yeah... hopefully I'll be feeling better before we get wherever we end up going." She pats the pokeball that Roland's been stowed away into, hoping that he'll be alright as well.
  48. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: I totally wish I had 3 ice types right now. I'd totally use the ice flavor to generate night queen.
  49. Chloe Blanchett: "Y-yeah." Chloe pulls her wool knit cap over her ears.
  50. * Natasha is basically a walking space heater, so she's fine. She is also making the cold quite a bit more bearable, what with the heat radius and all.
  51. Selene: "That's right. You're quite affected by the changes of weather."
  52. Nylora: "Bring Akeldama some materials and she can fashion you some winter clothing to fend off the winter's grasp."
  53. Akeldama: "WInter's Grasp is a spell, dear sister..."
  54. Nylora: "I-yes it is but-it's not-just-nevermind."
  55. Saturn Rosewell: "Uh, materials...?"
  56. Saturn Rosewell: "So, you're a seamstress of sorts?"
  57. Akeldama: "I am an Enchanter."
  58. Selene: "She also makes clothes."
  59. Akeldama: "Mmm...I'm not very good at making clothes..."
  60. Saturn Rosewell: "Enchanter? Like magic or something?"
  61. Nylora: "She's modest. Do not mind her."
  62. Rochette: "Would spider silk be a good option?"
  63. Akeldama: "Indeed. I'm able to bind aura to some items. Typically my expertise would be to fashion commonly useful items."
  64. Akeldama: "Spider silk is very, very difficult to work with...but I can do so."
  65. Saturn Rosewell: "Bind aura? What do you mean by aura?"
  66. Chloe Blanchett: "At this temperature, covering our ears and arms should be all we need. If it gets colder though..."
  67. Nylora: "Spider silk is also translucent. So it's very revealing. If you don't want to show off all your naughty bits, I suggest combining it with some cotton."
  68. * Natasha 's expression took that of one who just got an idea light bulb, and she whispered hurriedly to Saturn.
  69. Saturn Rosewell: "Oh...oh, like life force. Oh..." Her voice fell a bit. "Ohh......"
  70. Akeldama: "Aura is an energy that exists in all things."
  71. Akeldama: "Life force is but one form of aura. I am able to bind particulars of aura to some items to garner desired outcomes."
  72. Avara: do we have anything that would be a viable source of cotton with us or nearby?
  73. Finch: hi
  74. Akeldama: (( I will allow a cottonee to work. ))
  75. DNA: GM question if a Cottonee can actually be harvested in this fashion, and have his hide regrow later.
  76. Akeldama: (( But you could just use spider silk and be wearing translucent clothing if that's your thing. ))
  77. Akeldama: (( Yes. Cottonee can act like a mareep for harvesting. ))
  78. DNA: Awesome.
  79. Avara: and an arakore for spider silk. that'd give us material for everyone--and we could have, y'know... silk or cotton accessory clothes over our normal clothes. or under.
  80. DNA: that's like...ah, once per day or something.
  81. Saturn Rosewell: "Oh, cotton?"
  82. Avara: like a cape, or a jacket.
  83. Akeldama: (( Harvesting I'll say is Daily yes. Puts a limiter on the abuse. ))
  84. Chloe Blanchett: "Translucent clothing can work when layered. And silk is very hard to tear."
  85. * Saturn Rosewell fumbles around her belt, and opens the Poke Ball containing the Cottonee.
  86. DNA: (Not like we would want to abuse i-...not entirely true, disregard.)
  87. Finch: Finch looks about.
  88. Finch: Finch is very happy to not be in a cave. He takes a deep breath and absorbs the light and warmth.
  89. * Rochette brings out her Arakore, Fens. "She's a new catch, but she should be good for silk."
  90. Finch: (To GM: Silly question, but is there some check that can be made, on part of the Pokemon or trainer, that somehow enhances the effect of the created clothing?)
  91. Akeldama: "Is...is that a Jorogumo...?"
  92. Saturn Rosewell: "...Do we now coincidentally have two Pokemon that could be used to make clothing materials?"
  93. * Fens flinches, using her arms to shield her various eyes and scowling as best she can in the sun's general direction. She was released into the cave for shelter from the worst of it.
  94. Selene: Selene sighs and pats Akeldama gently, "No. We told you that those dreams were just fantasies of yours."
  95. Natasha: "Jirai Gumo?" Natasha tries to pronounce it, but fumbles a bit.
  96. Rochette: "I... don't know what she is exactly. Until a proper researcher comes along with a better name, I've decided to refer to the species as Arakore."
  97. Selene: (( I don't understand the question. ))
  98. DNA: (Who, mine?)
  99. Selene: (( Are you asking if there's a check for better harvestable items? Like, better quality? ))
  100. Selene: (( Yes ))
  101. DNA: (Uh... yeah, something like that.)
  102. DNA: (That was the gist. I know I'm grasping, but I like to try and take every chance I can get.)
  103. Selene: (( Ah. No. You can just 1/day, harvest enough cotton for a body item or two of any other items. ))
  104. Chloe Blanchett: ((Fortitude check to poop better silk))
  105. DNA: (...I was asking for a check when making the items themselves, actually...)
  106. Selene: (( Ah! Yes. ))
  107. Selene: (( But, that'd be aid other. Very general ))
  108. Selene: (( Unless you have LMHYWT ))
  109. DNA: "Aid Other?"
  110. DNA: And that is...?
  111. Selene: (( I think I have it listed as Aiding ))
  112. Chloe Blanchett: ((Chloe does! What skill is it?))
  113. Chloe Blanchett: "Learning how to make clothes sounds very useful. Do you mind if I watch?"
  114. Selene: (( It's General ))
  115. Selene: (( And oh, I don't have it listed formally. ))
  116. Selene: (( But - I'll just drop it here. ))
  117. Natasha: Somehow, I have General 6d6+2
  118. Selene: (( Most of the time, Trainers will be performing skill checks in a solitary fashion, even when a group is together. However, there are times when a Trainer can help another Trainer with combined effort. When a Trainer combines effort to help another they perform the same skill check against a target number of 8. If they succeed, they grant the Trainer in question a +2 bonus to their skill check. ))
  119. Selene: (( Multiple Trainers can combine skill attempts to help someone but after the first Trainer subsequent bonuses are only +1. In some cases, a Trainer’s help may not benefit another or a limited number of Trainers can only offer help in a skill attempt. The GM limits combined effort as they see fit for given conditions. ))
  120. Natasha: Will that count for anything?
  121. Selene: (( So, two people can assist Akeldama. ))
  122. Selene: (( You will need to roll a General Edu DC8 in order to assist. ))
  123. Avara: not me.
  124. Natasha: "Ooh! Ooh! Laat me je helpen!"
  125. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe will try to help, though she is not incredibly skilled. She's simply interested in learning the trade.
  126. Selene: (( Though Chloe's feature LMHYWT is separate from this assistance. So if she uses it, she doesn't count as 1 of the 2. ))
  127. Saturn Rosewell: "...Oh? Natasha says she'd like to help you out. If that's okay?"
  128. Avara: saturn, natasha, and chloe via LMHYWT?
  129. Akeldama: "You're free to watch, madam and the little one is free to help.
  130. Chloe Blanchett: ((I cant, my LMH doesn't help if my skill is too low))
  131. Saturn Rosewell: Oh, it has to be Novice or higher...
  132. Chloe Blanchett: ((Plus it's on a daily limit and this really isn't important. Chloe just wants to see what's going on and learn how to do it))
  133. DNA: I'll have Natasha (6d6+2) and Saturn (2d6+2) help, if there are no objections?
  134. Chloe Blanchett: ((I rolled mine already...))
  135. DNA: Then just Natasha
  136. Natasha: Gen Ed 6d6+2 !
  137. Akeldama: Akeldama begins her work on fashioning the cotton and silk to form yarn and then the yarn into a dress. With the help of Natasha, this task doesn't take quite as long (2 hours) and Chloe is able to see this method from start to finish.
  138. * Natasha had the look of someone hard at work. She even had the serious tongue-from-side-of-mouth look.
  139. Natasha: P=| !
  140. Akeldama whispers: The dress crafted
  141. http://images.asos-media.com/inv/media/7/3/9/8/2518937/printadoberose/image1xl.jpg
  142. Akeldama: "Provide me with more materials and I can make more clothing for you. For someone who has aided us such as you, my sisters and I shall not charge you for this work."
  143. Saturn Rosewell: "Oh! Th-thank you."
  144. Akeldama: "Additionally, if you'd like my enchanting services I can do that for you as well - though I'd need enchanting materials and the item you wish to be enchanted."
  145. Saturn Rosewell: Saturn was grateful for them, but she still didn't know what to feel.
  146. Avara: harvest gives you sufficient material for one body piece each. so combining them, would we have enough for two body outfits of mixed cotton and silk, or are we all out for today?
  147. Natasha: "Het ziet er prachtig uit. We deden het goed!"
  148. Chloe Blanchett: "What kind of materials work for enchanting?
  149. Akeldama: (( They were combined so that the dress wouldn't be translucent. ))
  150. Akeldama: (( All the materials were used. ))
  151. Avara: ok
  152. Valerie Ylsef: ((sorry, had some baby emergencies))
  153. Akeldama: "Shavings of crystalized aura."
  154. Rochette: Rochette recalls Fens now that the clothes-making is done, the spider-woman having been watching the process.
  155. DNA: (It was mostly clothing crafting. You didn't miss /too/ much, though you may wish to just check up on the specifics.)
  156. Chloe Blanchett: "If what I've heard about the fate ruins are correct, we might be able to find some there."
  157. * Finch hums to himself. He'll probably just disappear away again when they leave, but that's okay. He likes being out and about.
  158. Selene: "You all mentioned evolution stones before, right? They sounded awfully like enchantment materials though specialized for evolution."
  159. Akeldama: "Yes. If you come across some crystals that you would otherwise believe were of no use, you can crush them into dust to use as enchantment material."
  160. Rochette: "Yeah. They tend to be pretty expensive, but that makes sense..."
  161. Chloe Blanchett: "Sure! I will!"
  162. Saturn Rosewell: "I've heard those stones can be broken down into shards, with care, so that would make sense."
  163. Akeldama: "Good luck on your adventures!"
  164. Avara: so, who should hold onto the dress for now?
  165. DNA: Not sure. I know it takes up the body slot, but that's all I know.
  166. TrulHost: probably not me
  167. Chloe Blanchett: "I'll take it, if no one else wants it. The air cuts right through this shirt."
  168. TrulHost: wearing armor and carrying a flamethrower, probably not the best combo
  169. Chronicler: You acquire a Spidersilk Cotton Dress. This dress is built to handle harsh cold conditions. When worn it offers a 2+ bonus to any skill checks or saves against cold weather, even harsh weather, of any kind. Additionally, this dress provides 5 Damage Reduction against Ice Type attacks.
  170. Saturn Rosewell: "I think you should. It seems to mean the most to you."
  171. DNA: 5 DR to Ice? I...
  172. DNA: Nah, go for it. All to you.
  173. Avara: who is the "you" you are specifying?
  174. DNA: Chloe.
  175. Chronicler: (( The party ))
  176. DNA: I'm sorry, I wasn't clear.
  177. Chronicler: (( I'm letitng you guys---oh, not me ))
  178. Avara: *hugs kaorin*
  179. DNA: All is well.
  180. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe puts it on over her head and hugs her middle. "It feels warmer than it looks!"
  181. * Saturn Rosewell smirked for a split second, happy for Chloe. Then as soon as the smirk appeared, it left.
  182. Rochette: "So... let's get going?"
  183. Saturn Rosewell: "Where are we off to?"
  184. Saturn Rosewell: "The ruins? You rhouse? The town?"
  185. Rochette: "I believe we were going to try finishing the job?"
  186. Saturn Rosewell: "Right, so probably deeper into the forest."
  187. Chloe Blanchett: "Yes, to the west." Chloe nodded. Just before the stopped to rest she had spent the time to discover which way West was.
  188. Saturn Rosewell: "What will be our walking order? ...I think Valerie should be in front, while Rochette brings up the rear."
  189. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe looked between the two who were volunteered.
  190. Valerie Ylsef: "Long as someone is telling me where to go in front is just fine with me
  191. Saturn Rosewell: "You just look like someone who can take a hit, to me."
  192. Valerie Ylsef: "Sure can!"
  193. Saturn Rosewell: "And Rochette is good at covering tracks, plus she's the least likely to be ambushed. At present, neither Chloe nor I do real well in a combat situation either."
  194. Natasha: "Dat is eigenlijk echt letten op u!"
  195. Rochette: "I'm fine with rear position."
  196. Saturn Rosewell: "Maak er geen big deal van te maken ..."
  197. DNA: Note to self, find replacements for idioms
  198. Chloe Blanchett: "Saturn and I can stand side by side, so we move in a diamond."
  199. Valerie Ylsef: "Probably would be best, particularly if either of you gots a good set of peepers, I'm afraid I'm not terribly adept as a spotter."
  200. Chloe Blanchett: "Mmhm! I'll keep my eyes peeled."
  201. Saturn Rosewell: "I will too."
  202. Rochette: "I'm not fantastic at it, but I have some practice."
  203. DNA: (Let me know when/if I should be making checks, if it isn't obvious from context clues.)
  204. Valerie Ylsef: "Sounds like a plan! Point me in the right direction and lets get going!"
  205. Chloe Blanchett: "To the west." Chloe said, while pointing toward the Forest of Fate.
  206. Natasha: "Volg die vinger!" Natasha also mimicked the finger point, in the same direction.
  207. * Rochette takes her spot in the formation, walking with the group.
  208. * Valerie Ylsef starts of to the west.
  209. Chronicler: All the trees were tightly-knit, just one strand in a massive web of life. The scent of earth and water drifted through the air. It was a picture of serenity, one which would endure for many long years.
  210. Natasha: Keeping senses sharp for life nearby! Intuition 5d6+4 !
  211. Saturn Rosewell: Doing likewise, 4d6+1 .
  212. Chronicler: You are able to move around the lake and head west from the cave of which you spent so much time. Pokémon in the forest appear to be foraging for food despite the cold weather. They take notice of you but none of them approach or attack you.
  213. * Natasha is enthusiastically taking in the surroundings. It appears so beautiful to her!
  214. Chronicler whispers: You're able to pick up about double the amount of Pokemon that you can see with your eyes. None of them appear to be following you but instead seem to be keeping their distance from you. You pick up a Pokemon in the distance - your direct path of travel - that is stationary.
  215. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe looks around in amazement, taking in the beauty of the treetops. Her hands are folded behind her back and her pokeballs hidden away in her backpack.
  216. Saturn Rosewell: "They seem to be keeping their distance from us. There's 1 Pokemon up ahead in the path that's not moving, though. Perhaps a guard...?"
  217. * Valerie Ylsef keeps her mind on the road ahead, mostly focusing on keeping a westward directionality.
  218. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Do I know how far ahead it is?
  219. Valerie Ylsef: "So noted!" Valerie arms Jordy, just in case.
  220. * Rochette tries to see the aforementioned possible guard from her position in the formation.
  221. Chronicler whispers: Yes. It's about (shit meters) 20 meters from you.
  222. Saturn Rosewell: "20 metres ahead..."
  223. Saturn Rosewell: "We should be able to see it pretty soon."
  224. * Valerie Ylsef continues forward slowly the pace slightly.
  225. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Well, 1 metre is 1 square, so...
  226. Valerie Ylsef: (slowing*)
  227. * Saturn Rosewell also matches the slower pace, out of caution.
  228. Chronicler: In the distance you can see the fringes of the forest. Just at the fringes lies a lone creature surrounded by several weapons. There's discarded ammunition around the weapons and the creature appears to be quite riled up.
  229. Saturn Rosewell: "...We should probably halt. Then, think."
  230. * Rochette tries to walk silently as she moves behind the group, ready to grab and launch her pokeball and strike if she's attacked.
  231. ???: "I need it! I want it! Why can't I have it?! Arms! No arms! Such is life!"
  232. ???: Handout (click this)
  233.
  234. Error in body of roll.

  241. Chloe Blanchett: error
  242. Saturn Rosewell: Error for me also.
  243. ???: (( Really? ))
  244. Avara: error indeed
  245. ???: (( Alright ))
  246. Valerie Ylsef: (yup)
  247. Avara: Error in body of roll
  248. Valerie Ylsef: "Interesting problem it seems to be having." Valerie says quietly tot he group.
  249. Chloe Blanchett: "It wants hands...?"
  250. Saturn Rosewell: "What DOES it want, I wonder..." Intuition to sense intent:
  251. Rochette: "I find it more interesting that it speaks human."
  252. Chronicler: The weapons around it are: A Longbow, a Rifle, a Tomahawk, and a Railgun.
  253. Avara: ... A RAILGUN?!
  254. Chronicler: The ammunition are: A quiver full of arrows, a box of rifle ammo, and an energizer pack.
  255. DNA: A railgun indeed, holy crap.
  256. DNA: An ENERGIZEER pack?
  257. Chronicler: (( Is it with 2 t's? ))
  258. Valerie Ylsef: ((railgun ammo I bet))
  259. Chronicler: (( I apologize. ))
  260. DNA: Is what with 2 Ts?
  261. Chronicler: (( Energizer. Energizeer? ))
  262. DNA: I typo'd
  263. Chronicler: (( ..that never happens. ))
  264. Chronicler: (( Do you need tea? ))
  265. DNA: yes it does
  266. DNA: all the time
  267. DNA: no, I'll have tea in the morning
  268. Chronicler: (( 'kay. ))
  269. Avara: damn. a -railgun-. that's fanceh.
  270. Chronicler: (( It's a ranged weapon with special rules. ))
  271. Saturn Rosewell: "Well...on the plus side, if we can pacify it, we'll have weapons..."
  272. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Any word on the intu check to sense intent?
  273. Valerie Ylsef: "I like weapons >.>"
  274. Saturn Rosewell: "I'm sure you must take good care of Jordy. I meant more so for the rest of us."
  275. Chronicler whispers: Oh! I missed that, soz. It seems to be very frustrated and wanting something very desperately.
  276. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Do I know what this 'thing' is?
  277. Chronicler whispers: You do not.
  278. Rochette: "I have a dagger I want to get refined and taken care of, but a ranged option would be good too..."
  279. Natasha: "Moet ik praat met het? Misschien wil een vriend!"
  280. Valerie Ylsef: "Yes it would, particularly if we end up in a bottleneck situation."
  281. Chloe Blanchett: "It looks like she's having some kind of problem, maybe we should talk to her and help...?" Chloe risked to say. But even her voice wasn't confidient in her idea.
  282. Saturn Rosewell: "Het kan pijn doen, Natasha...."
  283. Valerie Ylsef: "I'll follow your gal's lead."
  284. Saturn Rosewell: "Natasha wants to try and talk to it, but I don't know what will happen. Maybe she could fly up and greet it, so she's ou tof harm's reach?"
  285. Rochette: Rochette looks around, seeing if other pokemon are specifically avoiding the Shellder?. Perception.
  286. Chloe Blanchett: "Does Natasha know pokemon kanto?"
  287. Saturn Rosewell: "..."
  288. Saturn Rosewell: "...oh, right. We need to work on that. Disregard..."
  289. Chloe Blanchett: "Or human kanto? It was just talking human."
  290. Rochette: "The other pokemon are making sure to give this one a lot of space. We should be on guard, but we'll probably only face attack from one direction if it does attack."
  291. Saturn Rosewell: "...hmm..."
  292. Valerie Ylsef: "If one of you wants to take the lead I can protect you from any harm for a little while if you want to try the talking method."
  293. Valerie Ylsef: "Just keep next to me."
  294. Rochette: "I can move to attack while Valerie moves to defend. So, do either of you want to do the talking?"
  295. Valerie Ylsef: ((Wide Guard and such))
  296. Saturn Rosewell: "Umm..."
  297. Saturn Rosewell: "I guess I can try."
  298. Chloe Blanchett: "We can always just go around, it might be safer for everyone involved."
  299. Saturn Rosewell: "Is there a way around, though?"
  300. Rochette: "I'm curious about this pokemon... and the weapons it's got gathered around."
  301. Saturn Rosewell: "I'll admit, I am too. And honestly, this might be a golden chance to get well equipped. We don't know what's waiting ahead of us after all."
  302. Saturn Rosewell: "Granted, we could avoid encounters like we have been, but how much longer could we do that before our luck runs out?"
  303. Saturn Rosewell: "This seems as safe of a bet as any, in my opinion..."
  304. Chloe Blanchett: "We do have numbers, maybe we should see what's wrong."
  305. Saturn Rosewell: "I'll stay next to Valerie as well. ...If that's acceptable?"
  306. Valerie Ylsef: "Should be fine, I'll just stay between you two."
  307. * Saturn Rosewell will walk with the other two, but would prefer to take very slow steps.
  308. Rochette: "I'll stand behind Valerie. I can dart in between if it attacks."
  309. * Valerie Ylsef keeps Saturn's pace
  310. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe timidly follows next to Valerie.
  311. ???: ??? takes notice of you three as you approach it. It stares at you wide-eyed before:
  312. ???: "Yes. YES. ERMAGERD!! Arms! You have friggin' arms!"
  313. ???: "Quick! I'll spit out some jewels you freakin' Humans love so damn much if you do me this IMMEDIATE favour!"
  314. Saturn Rosewell: "...that was to the point."
  315. Valerie Ylsef: "Indeed"
  316. Saturn Rosewell: "What's the matter?" (Let me know if I require a check.)
  317. ???: "I need you to grab one of these things around me and - now listen very, very carefully - SHOOT ME IN THE FACE!"
  318. Saturn Rosewell: "Wait, what!?"
  319. ???: "SHOOT ME IN THE FACE! IN THE FAAAAAAAACE! DO IT! SHOOT ME IN THE FACE! FACE FACEFACEFACEFACE! NOW! BULLETS IN THE FACE! WANT EM! NEED EM! GIMMEGIMMEGIMME!"
  320. Rochette: "... Why?"
  321. Saturn Rosewell: "It seems desperate... What's going to happen if we do?"
  322. Saturn Rosewell: "You're not going to actually try and kill us, are you?"
  323. ???: "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat? No! I need it ! I want it! MUST HAVE IT!"
  324. Saturn Rosewell: "Can you at least tell us why?"
  325. ???: "Have you SEEN me lately? I'm an abomination of---look! That doesn't matter!"
  326. ???: "You have arms and I don't! I have the wares - whichyoucanhaveforfreebecausewhatever - and I have the NEEEED!"
  327. ???: "JUST SHOOT ME IN THE FACE! CURIOUS AS TO WHY! Maybe you're weighing the moral pros and cons but let me assure you that OH MY GOD SHOOT ME IN THE GODDAMNED FACE!! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?!"
  328. Chloe Blanchett: "Did you used to have a slowpoke friend?"
  329. Saturn Rosewell: "...This is getting nowhere."
  330. * Saturn Rosewell quickly grabs the rifle to prepare to aim and shoot it.
  331. Chloe Blanchett: "W-wait! Don't do it!"
  332. Saturn Rosewell: "Gimme a sec."
  333. * Natasha looked extremely surprised. For the normally calm, soft-spoken, and dare I say it timid Saturn, this was quite unlike her.
  334. Valerie Ylsef: "Does it have to one of those weapons?"
  335. Rochette: Rochette kneels down to examine the weapons. "Honestly, you don't look like a freak of nature... just the shellder half of a slowpoke's evolution. At a guess, you weren't always a shellder-line pokemon, though?"
  336. ???: "I CAN'T EVOLVE WITH STONES! I MUST DO IT WITH beingshotinthedamnface."
  337. Chloe Blanchett: "What if you found a different tail to join?"
  338. ???: "No tails! Evolution! Through face shots! FACEFACEFACEFACE!"
  339. ???: "Not in the shell, not in the tongue, IN THE FACE!"
  340. Saturn Rosewell: By this time, Saturn has been toying with the rifle and trying to get it to line up so she can shoot the damn thing without hurting herself so badly from recoil.
  341. ???: "KNOCK KNOCK WHO'S THERE SHOOT ME IN THE FACE! END OF JOKE! I'M GONNA SING A SONG! SHOOT ME AT THE END OF IT!"
  342. Chloe Blanchett: "..." Chloe tried a bluff, "That only works with Saiyans. If you're not a Saiyan being hurt wont make you stronger." Guile
  343. ???: "DA DA DA DA DA DA DA! BONG!!"
  344. Saturn Rosewell: "Hold still."
  345. Saturn Rosewell: 0 Accuracy check!
  346. Valerie Ylsef: "If we are gonna do this let me, don't want to waste ammo."
  347. ???: ??? willingly takes the shot to the face. You couldn't miss unless you rolled a 1.
  348. Valerie Ylsef: "Or that...."
  349. Saturn Rosewell: "...I got impatient and he was starting to get on my nerves."
  350. Saturn Rosewell: Then, back to the shell object. "Fine, we shot you in the face. Can you stop yelling at us now and tell us WHY you're such a masochist?"
  351. ???: ??? is shot in the face. Strange goo - that you may think be Shellder blood - splurts around and it twitches and stops moving.
  352. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe looks horrified.
  353. Natasha: "..." It takes a while for Natasha to register the shock, but then she lets out a small high-pitched gasp!
  354. * Saturn Rosewell still looks oddly stoic.
  355. Chronicler: Suddenly, there's a rumble from the Shellder and it radiates a bright white glow. It engulfs the whole Shellder and it evolves into a Cloyster.
  356. Cloyster: "Ohhhh my yesssss. This is much better than that horrific form I was forced to endure."
  357. DNA: (OOC: I'm not even going to ask how that works or why you picked face trauma as a method.)
  358. Avara: better this than I'M THE CONDUCTOR OF THE POOP TRAIN!
  359. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe fell to her knees.
  360. DNA: pfahahaha.
  361. * TrulHost would settle for NIPPLE SALAD
  362. Rochette: "... Guess you weren't completely insane after all."
  363. Saturn Rosewell: "Feeling better?"
  364. Cloyster: "By all means, please, take those weapons for yourself. I don't have any arms for which to use them anyhow."
  365. * Saturn Rosewell blows the smoke off the barrel, for dramatic effect.
  366. Cloyster: "And, as promised..." Cloyster spits out a Big Pearl, "Payment."
  367. * Rochette picks up the railgun, looking it over and trying to figure it out.
  368. Chloe Blanchett: "D-did you know that was going to happen?"
  369. Saturn Rosewell: "No."
  370. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe looked at Natasha to see if she was still just as shocked as she was.
  371. Natasha: Oh, she definitely was. Still is, actually.
  372. Rochette: "Said 'e was going to evolve if shot in the face. So, while it sounded crazy... it was still possibly true." She reaches over to give Natasha a little head-pat for comfort.
  373. * Natasha is comforted somewhat, though still jarred.
  374. Cloyster: "I was once clamped upon the tail of a Slowpoke. Or Slowbro. Whatever. But, then it ate its own tail. And I remained as I was. I tried Water Stones but nothing worked."
  375. * Valerie Ylsef lowers Jordy, but only slightly.
  376. Saturn Rosewell: "Kinda curious how you figured out you needed to be shot in the face."
  377. * Saturn Rosewell is still holding the rifle, just 'cause.
  378. Chloe Blanchett: "C-couldn't you have explained it more clearly...?"
  379. Cloyster: "A Slowking explained to me that sometimes Pokemon can experience severe emotions or trauma that forcibly triggers evolution. So I devised one that would either end my suffering or force my evolution."
  380. Rochette: (( can i get the railgun rules in a side window? or are they in the porygon book? ))
  381. Cloyster: "I had been begging anyone that came by to shoot me in the face. For days. I suppose after a while it had me high strung..."
  382. Valerie Ylsef: "I can imagine."
  383. Saturn Rosewell: "How the hell did you even amass all these weapons...?"
  384. Cloyster: "The same Slowking provided them to me. He was a kind fellow."
  385. Saturn Rosewell: "I'll admit, when I came by, I thought you killed people to get these weapons."
  386. Cloyster: (( Will do. ))
  387. Saturn Rosewell: "How does a Slowking even own weapons like thes-never mind, this is going to make my head hurt."
  388. Rochette: "Better question--why didn't Slowking help you set up a mechanism to do the shooting, if it had access to these guns?"
  389. DNA: (I might go for the tomahawk, though if any of those deal special damage instead of physical, I might prefer that.)
  390. DNA: (The Slowking was probably Larry. Just putting that out there.)
  391. Cloyster: (( The rifle and railgun do. ))
  392. Saturn Rosewell: "So I guess that means you're free to enjoy your life, then." She picks up the Big Pearl. "Thanks, I guess..."
  393. Avara: rochette's design has been switched to the one i was considering prior to designing the one she's been using up until now.
  394. Avara: sprite and token can be found in her box page
  395. Cloyster: "Yes, thank you. I'd been begging for days..."
  396. Rochette: "Alright. I'd probably be better off with the bow or the axe."
  397. Saturn Rosewell: "I guess I'll hold on to this rifle. For now, anyway..."
  398. Cloyster: "Would any of you happen to be Trainers?"
  399. * Rochette hands off the railgun to whoever wants it. "If nobody else wants it, I'll take the bow and arrows."
  400. Saturn Rosewell: "At the very least we should hold on to all of these, to sell later or whatever."
  401. Saturn Rosewell: "Um, yeah. We all are. Why do you ask?"
  402. Valerie Ylsef: "They are. I'm currently minus a pokemon, so I can't really call myself a trainer."
  403. Cloyster: "I know I came off a little odd but I've been with companionship for so long it feels really awkward without it. And I've gone and removed any possible social interaction with likely all the Pokemon in this area..."
  404. Cloyster: "So, would any of you like a Cloyster who can't speak Pokemon?"
  405. Rochette: "Well, since Valerie doesn't have a partner yet, she should be the first one you ask."
  406. Saturn Rosewell: "I agree."
  407. Avara is disconnected.
  408. Valerie Ylsef: "If you are willing to follow my instructions, then you are more than welcome. It'll be nice to have a pokemon companion."
  409. Chloe Blanchett: "I have a spare pokeball," Chloe said weakly, the first time she'd spoken up in a while.
  410. Valerie Ylsef: "I have a few, but thanks anyway."
  411. * Valerie Ylsef pulls an empty pokeball out of a pocket in her jacket.
  412. Cloyster: (( Back sorry. Was door. x.x ))
  413. DNA: Then who was phone!?
  414. Cloyster: "Hmm. I can, sure. I just headbutt this thing?" Cloyster suddenly headbutts the Poké Ball.
  415. Cloyster: Cloyster accepts capture. She never told you her name but it's Pyrgomache. Though I imagine you'll re-name her.
  416. TrulHost: ((you'd be suprised))
  417. DNA: (ahaha...)
  418. Chloe Blanchett: "Sh-should we keep going..?"
  419. Saturn Rosewell: "After picking up the weapons, yeah, I would think so. There isn't much reason to stick around here..."
  420. Valerie Ylsef: "Sounds like a plan."
  421. DNA: (I'd like for Avara to get back first, or at least get a status thereof.)
  422. Valerie Ylsef: (^)
  423. Kaorin Sakura: (( Pokemon token added to your Trainer page. ))
  424. Avara has connected.
  425. DNA: Avara! You're back!
  426. Kaorin Sakura: (( \o/ ))
  427. Avara: ok, last i saw it was offering up itself to join our teams
  428. DNA: I'll c/p the stuff so you can catch up.
  429. Avara: mom was rearranging the router and modem set-up
  430. DNA: Dropped in the Skype window for you.
  431. DNA: Not too much, thankfully. We just finished up the dialogue then waited for you.
  432. * Saturn Rosewell does a quick scan of the area again, to detect any changes. Intuition 4d6+1 .
  433. Rochette: "So, we've solved your issue with needing a pokemon, and we all got some weapons. Ready to get moving agani?"
  434. * Natasha also scans with strength 5d6+2 .
  435. Saturn Rosewell: "Yep. Let's get back in formation."
  436. * Saturn Rosewell shouldered the rifle.
  437. * Valerie Ylsef gets back in front and continues the westward journey.
  438. * Rochette sets the bow and quiver in place on her back, as best she can, and takes her position in the back of the group again.
  439. Kaorin Sakura whispers: The gunfire seems to made the Pokemon around you give you more distance.
  440. * DNA giggles slightly.
  441. * Saturn Rosewell also giggles slightly, because I forgot to impersonate.
  442. Chronicler: You exit the forest and enter Fate's Forest. The two are connected but distinctly different. In fact, you wonder if the forest you were in were actually the fringes of Fate's Forest.
  443. Rochette must wait 27.635 seconds before it may move again!
  444. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe's nerves had started to settle as they walked, looking back around the forest as they moved.
  445. DNA: (How are they different?)
  446. Chronicler: The forest was one of those places which had no palpable reason to exist. It was a creaking shack created by nature to serve as a reminder that things could always be much, much worse. The unnatural, choking mist that swirled and sprawled on the forest floor was the first thing that spoke of a strange sort of wrongness. The sickly white substance oozing from the trees reminded you of the maggot-like texture of the eyes of a dead man who had been forgotten in his apartment for a few months, ready to burst at the slightest touch. The smoke made no sound however and only parted to swallow up her feet as you all marched upon the giant dead, festering eyeball of the forest floor. The sound of mushy and dead leaves whispered from under the skin of the mist.
  447. Chronicler: (( Moved you guys on the region map. ))
  448. Chronicler: (( Remind me to make a token there for Valerie. ))
  449. * Saturn Rosewell definitely doesn't feel safe here. She wants to get the info and get out as soon as possible.
  450. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Am I required to make yet another life scan check, or can I use the prior one?
  451. Chronicler whispers: A new one.
  452. TrulHost: ((token incoming here in a bit))
  453. Rochette: "If the air starts to feel off, let me know so I can bring Roland out to generate clean air for us."
  454. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: but I am so lazy! fine: Saturn 13 and Natasha 19 respectively.
  455. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: um, whoops, forgot the gm tag. want a reroll?
  456. Saturn Rosewell: "Will do."
  457. Chronicler whispers: Yes, please.
  458. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Saturn and Natasha respectively.
  459. Valerie Ylsef: "This is a most unsettling place."
  460. * Natasha still kept the area around them warm and lit, but this was still not a nice place to be.
  461. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe nodded, but said nothing.
  462. Chronicler whispers: You notice that the Pokemon of this forest float or fly mostly. They're all either up in the trees or flying around. None of them are on the ground. You also notice that, as soon as you enter the forest, that there are huge area gaps that completely lack any life signs at all. To your immediate right and left, though the areas are hidden behind the trees.
  463. * Valerie Ylsef holds tight to Jordy's flame nozzle.
  464. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Any clue as to why? Is it like empty space (like a vacuum) or is there just no one there?
  465. Chronicler whispers: You can't detect vacuums but just that no life force detectable is there.
  466. Val must wait 16.694 seconds before it may move again!
  467. Val must wait 15.009 seconds before it may move again!
  468. Val must wait 2.912 seconds before it may move again!
  469. Saturn Rosewell: "..."
  470. Val must wait 0.616 seconds before it may move again!
  471. Val must wait 28.903 seconds before it may move again!
  472. Val must wait 25.9 seconds before it may move again!
  473. Val must wait 4.303 seconds before it may move again!
  474. Valerie Ylsef: (oops)
  475. Saturn Rosewell: "Most of the Pokemon here are in the trees. None on the ground. But there feels like there's empty spaces to the right and left of us."
  476. Valerie Ylsef: ((token arrival))
  477. Rochette: "Hm." Rochette looks to the ground, to check for footprints. Perception.
  478. Chloe Blanchett: "Thankfully the flow of the smoke might help us see the void pockets. If they're a vaccum it shouldn't have smoke. But if it's just non-oxygen air then that's harder to figure out..."
  479. Chronicler: Rochette swats at the mist blanketing the floor as she inspects for footprints.
  480. Valerie Ylsef: "So do these Void Pockets like suck up stuff or are the just....missing?"
  481. Chloe Blanchett: "I'm not sure, we're just... investigating."
  482. Saturn Rosewell: "From what we were told, just missing, but we know very little. That's why we were sent out here..."
  483. Rochette : "They're areas of damage left by the invasion, aren't they? Part of why they're called void pockets is that there's no breathable air in them--you need pokemon like Tropius to traverse them safely."
  484. Saturn Rosewell: "Should we look to the side, or keep going?"
  485. DNA: (Also, did Rochette get anything on the footprints?
  486. Avara: nothing
  487. Chloe Blanchett: "Lets go deeper. If we're looking for a source it wont be found at the edge of the problem."
  488. Rochette : "Right. We were hired on to investigate the source, after all."
  489. Saturn Rosewell: "True. Let's go."
  490. Chloe Blanchett: "And we get a bonus for solving the problem too."
  491. Chronicler: (( Erm, you weren't hired to investigate the source. ))
  492. DNA: (shh!)
  493. Chronicler: (( Just wanna clear confusion. ))
  494. Chloe Blanchett: (( That's been my impression since the game started ))
  495. Chloe Blanchett: ((Or since we got the job, rather))
  496. Chronicler: (( You were hired to inspect void pockets. They directed you to some west at Fate's Forest. ))
  497. Chronicler: (( Never the source. But if you could solve how to remove them that'd be an incredible find and worth a hell of a bonus. ))
  498. Valerie Ylsef: "Onward and upward then!"
  499. Chronicler: (( No one knows where they come from so they couldn't send you to the source. ))
  500. DNA: (Like I said, shh!)
  501. Chronicler: Anyway, going deeper?
  502. DNA: Yes, just like in Inception.
  503. * Valerie Ylsef continues deeper into the forest.
  504. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe follows along.
  505. * Rochette pursues the party further
  506. * Saturn Rosewell stays with the diamond.
  507. Chronicler: (( Sorry, had to make some off-screen rolls. ))
  508. Chronicler: You're able to venture deeper into the forest. You hear some scuffling from the tree's overhead as you move deeper. The forest becomes more and more dense, blocking out more and more light. Soon only Natasha is your light source.
  509. Chronicler whispers: You notice six life forms have been following you from the trees.
  510. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Any specifics?
  511. Chronicler: Suddenly, the vague humanoid image of a woman appears in your path.
  512. Saturn Rosewell: "...We're being followed..."
  513. Chronicler whispers: None.
  514. Saturn Rosewell: "Six of them. In the trees."
  515. Rochette : ((brb))
  516. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe flinches at the sudden apperance. "H-hello?"
  517. Valerie Ylsef: "Who are you?" Valerie lifts the nozzle of Jordy up in teh figures direction.
  518. Image: Image stands in your path, staring all of you down.
  519. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Can I tell if this image is alive? Or can be passed through? What can I tell?
  520. Image: "You are in a dangerous place and are on the path of ruin. Go back. Go baaack."
  521. Image whispers: If does not possess life force, but it is made of aura.
  522. Image whispers:
  523. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: So it possesses aura, but does that tell me anything else (other than I can sense it)?
  524. Chloe Blanchett: "Can you help us?" Chloe examined the image, wondering if it was a phantom or an illusion. Perception And Occult
  525. Image whispers: With aura reader/sight and intuition? Nope.
  526. Chloe Blanchett: "It's an illusion, something set this up to warn people."
  527. Image: "I can be of no assistance to thee. Please, for your sake do not venture forward. You are surely to perish."
  528. Chloe Blanchett: "What will happen to us?"
  529. Natasha: Natasha also tried. Trying to mimic the sound of a word, she spoke. "Preeeeeeeeez?" Charm check 6d6+4 !
  530. Image: "The universe is falling apart at the seams and nature is unable to undo the damage. Areas contaminated by tears become hostile and life cannot flourish. This is has become a fate of Fate's Forest."
  531. Valerie Ylsef: "Sounds like what we are looking for to me."
  532. Saturn Rosewell: "Contaminated by...tears? What do you mean, tears?"
  533. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe considers if she's heard any myths or stories that she might be referencing. Occult
  534. Chloe Blanchett: "This doesn't sound familiar. It sounds like she's talking about tears in reality or the universe or something."
  535. Rochette : (( back ))
  536. DNA: (Oh, I read that as tears, as in eye droppings.)
  537. Valerie Ylsef: "Sounds pretty Voidy to me."
  538. Image: "A tear is just a theory. Humans have adopted the term 'pocket', I think. Regardless, it is a spot that nothing can survive in. Since the calamity these have sprung up every so often and as time goes on, more and more appear. Our most brilliant have devised their nature to be the fabric of the universe 'ripping' or 'being punctured'."
  539. Chloe Blanchett: "You don't act like an illusion, but you look like one. What are you..?"
  540. Saturn Rosewell: "We're...actually trying to investigate these pockets. find out what they are, what's causing them, maybe even if we can fix them."
  541. Saturn Rosewell: "We know what we're getting into. If we didn't, we wouldn't even be here."
  542. Image: "I am most definitely an illusion. An interactive one."
  543. Chloe Blanchett: "Who made you? A magus of some kind?"
  544. Image: "If the tears are what you seek then you have come to the right place. Venture beyond me - but be warned - the area behind me is the smallest tear here at 19-meters wide. However, it seems to grow 2-meters weekly, unlike the others."
  545. Image: "I apologize. I am not at liberty to discuss my manufacturer."
  546. Chloe Blanchett: "That tear sounds like a problem. And if it's the most active, it's probably the easiest to learn from."
  547. * Rochette brings out Roland. "Roland, stay in the middle of the formation. I'll bring out Fens if we need someone to fight, but we're probably going to need the air supply soon."
  548. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: is it possible to analyze an area or individual/object for specific aura patterns, then reverse-engineer it to detect more of the same later?
  549. Image whispers: Once you encounter a void pocket you can recognize others.
  550. Valerie Ylsef: "Shall we then?"
  551. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: okay then.
  552. Chloe Blanchett: "Thank you for your warning, we'll be very careful as we proceed."
  553. Rochette: "So... you mentioned we were being followed?" she whispers to Saturn.
  554. Saturn Rosewell: "by six things in the trees, yes..."
  555. Image: "Good fortune to you all. Try not to die."
  556. Image: Image suddenly vanishes.
  557. * Saturn Rosewell tries to slow down her breathing.
  558. Chronicler: As the image vanishes you can see the area behind her clearly.
  559. Valerie Ylsef: "Deal with the trees or just keep a warry eye on them?"
  560. Chronicler: The mist seems to swirl around a large circular area.
  561. Rochette: "Can you sense any details about them?"
  562. Chloe Blanchett: "Keep an eye on them. We have no idea how flamable all this stuff is."
  563. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Can I sense any details about the 6 followers?
  564. Chronicler: There is no fog or mist in this area and none of the tree's in it are its usual ghoulish colour. They're all white and not producing any ooze nor leaves. They appear brittle.
  565. Chronicler: The land is visible in this area and ground appears cracked and dry and there seems to be no wind current at all.
  566. Chloe Blanchett: "So... this is the void pocket?" Chloe examines the pocket to see if there is any visual clues as to what might be causing it. Perception.
  567. Chronicler whispers: Such as?
  568. Valerie Ylsef: "If it is definately not what I was picturing."
  569. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Hm, size, type, body shape, maybe even capabilities...?
  570. Rochette: "Make sure not to stray too far from Roland." She pulls out her bow, keeping an eye out for whatever might happen.
  571. Chronicler whispers: 2 are medium and the other 4 are small. Beyond that you can't tell any details.
  572. Saturn Rosewell: "I can only tell that 2 of them are more medium sized, and the other 4 are small. Not much else, sorry..."
  573. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: Are they following us into the void pocket? Or just staying/waiting outside?
  574. Chronicler whispers: You guys haven't gone into it yet.
  575. Rochette: "That's more information than we had five minutes ago. No need to apologize."
  576. You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: ...that's right. but are they stationary?
  577. Saturn Rosewell: "...better than nothing, I suppose. I doubt they'd follow us into the pocket, though."
  578. Saturn Rosewell: "Whenever you're all ready."
  579. Rochette: "Ready."
  580. Chloe Blanchett: "The pocket seems to distort light..." Chloe commented, walking around the outer edge of it.
  581. Chronicler: As a reminder. Grass type Pokemon or Pokemon with the Phototroph diet can produce oxygen for themselves and others.
  582. Chloe Blanchett: Chloe stopped in her tracks, noticing everyone else was doing something different. "Huh? Did I miss something?"
  583. Avara: how far out from the pokemon does the air reach?
  584. Chronicler: Pokemon of Small or Medium size can produce oxygen for themselves and 1 other. Pokemon Large size can produce oxygen for up to 2 in addition to themselves. Each size category beyond Large add an addiitional 2.
  585. Avara: okay. we'll need two more grass types
  586. Finch: Hi
  587. * Finch is small sized.
  588. Chronicler: The oxygen is melee range.
  589. Rochette: ((will foongus work for this?))
  590. DNA: Oh, question. Natasha has glow and thus produces light.
  591. Chloe Blanchett: "Hm, try creating oxygen in the void pocket and see where the wind blows. If the wind blows outward then we might have an idea on what kind of force this is. If the wind is, well, consumed, that's something completely different."
  592. DNA: Does the light reach inside?
  593. Chronicler: It does not.
  594. DNA: Can I have Natasha hold her breath for a few seconds and test to see what happens?
  595. DNA: ...and how the hell can we even see inside the pocket if there's NO LIGHT?
  596. Chronicler: I never said that was no light.
  597. Chloe Blanchett: Natasha is our only lightsource
  598. DNA: okay.
  599. Chronicler: Give me a moment to re-read suffocating.
  600. * Finch will be providing the oxygen for Natasha.
  601. Avara: foongus works for air production? if so, foongus will stay with Valerie if Valerie wants the help.
  602. * Valerie Ylsef picks up a rock or a stick on the ground and tosses it into the voided area.
  603. Avara: otherwise, stays with Chloe
  604. Chronicler: Any Grass Pokemon or Pokemon with the Phototroph diet can produce oxygen.
  605. Valerie Ylsef: ((will need mobility if she is to do her job))
  606. Chronicler: (( I'mma change suffocatin some. ))
  607. Avara: you'll also need air.
  608. Chronicler: (( So, instead of 1 minute you begin suffocating I'll make it 2 rounds + your Body attribute (minimum 2) rounds. ))
  609. Valerie Ylsef: ((was meaning a mon she can carry would be a good thing))
  610. Avara: can mario use Shrinkable to shrink and ride on Valerie's shoulder or something? dunno if flame weapon is 2hander
  611. Valerie Ylsef: Flame Jets are weird
  612. Avara: is flame jet 2hander?
  613. TrulHost: they are 2 handed
  614. Chronicler: (( And 2-handed. ))
  615. Chronicler: They can just move together.
  616. Avara: can foongus shrink and do the pikachu thing?
  617. DNA: okay, so foongus is paired with valerie. cottonee is paried with natasha, our light source. roland is paired with himself and 2 others.
  618. Avara: mario's overland is 4. don't think he can keep up on foot.
  619. TrulHost: it can ride on the tank that the weapon will aquire once crafting goes through!
  620. DNA: But that leaves 1 trainer who won't be able to breathe.
  621. Avara: put natasha away? i'm out of grass types.
  622. DNA: I will put Natasha away, then.
  623. * Natasha isn't sure how helpful she'll be as a lightsource, so as soon as they begin to investigate the pocket, she'll retreat.
  624. * Finch will be sitting on Saturn's hat instead.
  625. Valerie Ylsef: "I wonder if my flames will even work in there, doesn't fire need oxygen to do its thing?"
  626. Saturn Rosewell: "It does."
  627. Saturn Rosewell: "...And we have a limited supply of that, which we need to breathe."
  628. Saturn Rosewell: "...So please don't use Jordy."
  629. Rochette: "We found enough weapons for all of us earlier."
  630. Avara: who got the tomahawk and who got the railgun?
  631. Chronicler: And as it is midnight (for me) I'll like to hold off on venturing into the Void Pocket until next session.
  632. DNA: I knew it!
  633. Chloe Blanchett: "Hm, give it a try. See if you can light fire in the void pocket. Maybe the inability to breathe is more supernatural than a lack of oxygen."
  634. Chronicler: All of you can commerce with each other about how to go about entering this, and divvying up loot, before the start of next game. : 3
  635. DNA: 'commerce'?
  636. DNA: I think you mean 'commune'.
  637. Chronicler: Yes, that.
  638. Valerie Ylsef: "Alright." Valerie sends a very short burst into the Void.
  639. Avara: everyone, check your mons for Phototroph diet
  640. Chronicler: Valerie can do that again next week. (Just remind me!)
  641. Eclipse: Analyzing!
  642. Chronicler: So! Tonight: You gain (because of a lot of things) 4 Trainer Experience.
  643. Chronicler: You all gain 30 Pokemon Experience to dump into a single Pokémon.
  644. TrulHost: get da level!
  645. Chronicler: Saving campaign and log!
  646. Avara is disconnected.
  647. Kaorin Sakura is disconnected.
  648. You have disconnected.
