If you decide to visit Osaka, make sure to go on a river cruise through Dotonbori, and later stroll down the riverwalk and try some of Osaka's famous street food. These are, in my opinion, the best ways to experience the feel of Osaka, especially in the evening. One more thing that would make this even better is a good and affordable accommodation in this amazing part of Osaka. I can think of no better place than Kaneyoshi Ryokan.
