BACKGROUND :
— ilsa was born in madrid, spain to her father, a korean man working overseas and married to a spanish woman (her mom). she had an older sister above her called kalissa choi rae-eun, and because her parents were famous businesspeople, they were expected to be classy and posh and all that. both girls were raised to be ladylike and soft, and never speak their mind out against anyone, but none of them liked it. when her sister turned 18, she had a huge fight with her father who wanted to send her to study abroad while she just wanted to stay in korea with her boyfriend. her sister packed up and left that night, and that was 6 years ago. now they still don’t know her whereabouts, but because her sister was so elite and promising, her parents put more effort into ilsa, thinking they could pressure her into becoming as good as her sister. she never got the chance to be brave like her sister was, and is still stuck at home with her strict parents, though she does disobey them sometimes and sass those old guys who want to flirt with her in meetings.
